I would like to dedicate you my yesterday's win in my local chess club. Its all thanks to your great lessons here. I paste this game, Im sure there were plenty of inaccuracies but I only have Polish national ranking of 1600 (so called third category), but during this game I had in mind your lessons specially when I preformed a bishop dance to place it on the g1-a7 diagonal. And Im only on minute 54 after Spasski Avtonomov game. Thank you once again Great stuff 1. b3 Nf6 2. Bb2 e6 3. e3 d5 4. Nf3 Be7 5. c4 O-O 6. Nc3 Nbd7 7. d4 c5 8. cxd5 exd5 9. Bd3 Re8 10. Thank you for putting so much effort into these classes, even though you don't get that many views on them. Hope that changes soon, as you absolutely deserve more recognition. Nowhere can I find such great pawn structure / middlegame strategy lessons for free!
Hey there. Thanks for all of the work you have put into this series and all the other videos you have done. I hope you're views and memberships grow over time, you deserve it. I just heard about IQP positions earlier today (I've known the positions, but not the acronym.) and I found your channel from the result of a search. I'm glad I did. Good job.
This is incredible, thank you so much! Just one question: the IQP structures I get usually don't have the e6 pawn, but instead a c7 pawn (sometimes on c6). How should we treat this, since the usual d5 break doesn't have the same effects?
I used to struggle with Queen's pawn position, but this video really helped me out. I used to avoid the IQP which made me play weaker moves, now at the lower level I go for the IQP because it gives me good chances at attacking and players at my level are not comfortable with being attacked. So I credit this video with some of my most memorable play so far, d5!! (d4!! as black)
Yes, we did look at it and the problem is that it will be a full time job...running a community in a good way is hard (and we also have other client than ourselves hehe)
@@GMTalks i get used to it 😂😂😂. I watched this series three times now. When will you make the "hanging pawns" series? (i have a leguage in september and i have to learn something new XD)
i found this channel by mistake when i was looking for good free chess content online hope the algorithm make this channnel much much more popluar some day ♟♟♟♟♟

the fact that this is free is crazy
Was digging for IQP content. Let s just say I found gold
I could not agree more. Im 15hundo player and I play Caro and QG and I always struggled with IQP positions. This vid is great 👍. Thank you
This video as well as Zviad Izoria's videos on IQPs are probably the best content ever made on the subject.
Ty very much! Haven't seen Zviads videos - a link here is ok
@@GMTalks Here's his playlist ruclips.net/p/PLbygarKV2At5rYoX4VAMd7zIC32MhWlEK
less organized than your videos, but still quite nice content.
Can't wait for this long format videos on endgames. Youre the man!

This is gold! You deserve more subscribers and viewer base!

1:12:51 Here and elsewhere, how should White think about responding to ...Ng4? (Allow Black to trade on e3?) And to the immediate threat of ...Bxa3?
Great informative class. Godbless❤
Thankyou sir!
U r welcome
This course is incredible!!
So much thankyuuu♡
Your channel is so underrated:(
Thank you so much for this content👍
Made me love the IQP !
So nice when a structure suddenly 'opens' - you just play so much better
great stuff

Many roads to Rome :)
Very helpful, thank you.
Great content, thanks
U r Welcome!
Great content. Very instructive. Thank you!
Could you do a video on some games in the QGD Tarrasch defence?
Hi Douglas. Thank you very much for membership - and yes we can and will do that!
Thank you. It's great stuff!
Thank you very much for this video! This is very high quality. I hope you get more views. What if you get the IQP as black? does it work?
I think the same principles apply with reversed colours

Hi David there is at least one video in there where i discuss your pawn structure (often comes from French Tarrasch, Petroff or QGA
Very good stuff, thank you!

Very good series, very instructive, but a bit hard to listen.
Sorry about the accent - I blame my upbringing (my mother was actually a language teacher but my father sucks at this - so I landed in the middle)
