    Always learn from your videos. I enjoy flying both the HJet and Vision Jet. Both work the $25. The G3000 has come a long way.

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  Год назад +1

      The G3000 is a big lift thanks to Working Title ... One of the best investments a sim has made to get the "default" avionics to that level that they are doing 90-95 % of what the real thing does and close as possible... This allows the plane makes to focus on building the best representation of the plane and not have to spend 70% of their time to build the same G3000 ... Great time to be a sim user

    Really great video Les, many thanks. All the actions and settings you used were really well described, not only what you were doing, but why. I don't own the HJ yet, but your video has made me decide to go ahead and get it - hope it works okay on the Xbox Series X. Thanks again.

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  Год назад +2

      It does work better now .. the recent update had optimizations just be careful in heavy scenery as the Avionics can go black when memory overload happens ... make sure to use a Lite Livery and pair down the map settings using Declutter

    Thanks Les! Were you surprised at the AP's inability to stop at those quick, low Altitude restrictions out of TEB? Is this more of an A/T and 250kt speed issue, VNAV, or climb rate in general with TO power, or both? Thanks!

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  Год назад +2

      All of the above .. it's an aggressive level off for sure that the AP may not be able to control the PIDs ... probably would have been better to hand fly it or at least use manual throttle to power it way back .. my understanding is IRL pilots bust on the RUDDY6 a lot :) that 1500 foot restriction in a powerful Jet is probably not that easy :)

  • @pierrelaine6304
    @pierrelaine6304 Год назад +1

    Thanks for this great video ! I am a big fan of Hjet IRL and the G3000 is so great.But as I can still see in this video, no matter how good are the systems, this plane is way to much twichy. It hurts me when I see that FD and pitch jumping around. The real Hjet must be way more stable even in windy. Today I flew the GFC700 equipped 182T with 20G35KT and I was amazed how the autopilot managed to smooth out all those gusts. a bigger aircraft should be as stable if not more. if Flightfx could correct this behavior, that would be the perfect bizjet

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  Год назад

      The G3000 is all Working Title now .. that includes the autopilot .. some things are just what they are with MSFS and the turbulence it has .. I have set my turbulence to Low and find it better.. Also if you are referring to the beginning where it has issues with the 1500 foot VNAV .. IRL you would not be in MCT ... knowing you have to level off you would be way way back on the power and would be one of those times where you just use VS to climb instead of FLC. Then the AT would power back and you use only about a 1500 foot per minute Rate after clearing all obstacles.

    Thank you for all the tutorials, thanks to you we all much better experience in our favourite sim. I got question, often In description there is info about your profile to download but when I go there there is nothing. Is it because I have that £80 version not the latest? 😊

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  Год назад

      if the update subscription is not current then you don't have access to any Profiles or Snippets that are posted after your expiration. You can still find online snippets that are for your version just not newer versions.

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  Год назад

      not sure why you would have issues if your able to find the Snippets and download them ... again I post snippets not profiles since that allows people to download the devices they need into their own profile.. You may have devices I don't have and vice versa so you want device snippets not an entire profile

    Where does the HJET get LFE Ft 69 from? Looking at the ILM airport diagram I see five different elevations and none are 69? I see ELEVs 31, 32, 20, 18 and 21.

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  10 месяцев назад

      Pulls it from sim data. Could be improper scenery data. Have also seen it where it looks like the math is 3:1 so confusing feet for meters maybe.

    Hi Les, can you please help me, I have been searching in the Honda Jet Cockpit for over an hour in vain how I can operate the two MFD and PFD independently of each other. All functions and inputs are mirrored. The pane rotary knob in the right PFD cannot be operated either, Maybe the problem is just a mouse click away, I just can't figure it out.
    [Edit] sorry, the problem was solved quickly, I had accidentally selected the Lite version

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  7 месяцев назад

      You are in a LITE livery which has the GTC and the PFDs mirrored for performance. Select a livery that does not say LITE in it. The manual covers this.

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  Год назад +1

      Not sure what you mean ... FFX is the publisher but Marwan is the Developer for the HJet .. and to be honest it's modeling had years spent on it so not sure why you feel it does not look good :) ..

    how did you separate the GTC's (flight computer) so each can be use on its own instead of having them synced?

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  9 месяцев назад +1

      The liveries with LITE in the name have the PFD and the GTC Duplicated to save resources. Use a livery without LITE in the name to get the independence - but it can effect FPS and on Xbox it is not recommended due to memory issues.

    Is there a shortcut to get to the cabin signs? Seems a long process

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  11 месяцев назад +1

      That is where they are in the the panel systems.. the only shortcut would be to map hardware buttons from controllers but as for in the virtual cockpit using a mouse there is no physical buttons for it..

    How do you get your GTCs to display two different things? When I select and option from any one of the GTCs the displays the same thing.

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  10 месяцев назад

      you must be running on of the LITE livery options which make the GTCs and the PFDs mirror images to save memory/resources..

      The first plane livery of the default liveries is the RED Lite livery. You need to select a different one that does not say LITE. If your on XBOX though I would not. Xbox is light on resources and that is why the LITE exist.

    • @LesOReilly

      Think it is just force of habit at this point ... You spend so much of your early flight hours with an instructor and the phrase "we" just becomes second nature ..
