  • Well the 2024 Tour de Boerne was a success! Even though my training leading up to the ride wasn't the best! It was a good ride, but it didn't come without some suffering! That's okay though. You learn more and grow from the things that are hard and challenge you physically and mentally than something that's easy! We finished the ride, albeit slow, but a finish none the less. I can confidently say I have yet to see the inside of a sag wagon!!
Thanks for watching my videos! It is greatly appreciated! Much love!

Thanks brother! It was an awesome ride! I was a little under prepared for it, but I managed my energy output and intake and it all worked out!

Glad to hear you're back at it after a set back! I know how frustrating that can be wanting to get back to doing something you like and circumstances not allowing it. Glad you enjoyed the video! If you see me out and about or at an event. Come over and say hi!

Great job , Kenny ! Awesome video . I wanted to do this ride . But unfortunately couldn’t do it this year . A lot folks from the RGV participated and loved it . All positive reviews on the route and how organized the ride is . Hopefully next year . I do want to ride Conquer the Coast . Will you be riding in that one ? 🚴🏼✌️

Thank you brother! I appreciate it! I'm glad everyone who came up from the RGV enjoyed the ride! Hope to see you out there next year!
My plan this year is to do Cyclefest out in Fort Davis in West Texas. Unfortunately it's on the same weekend in September as Conquer the Coast. Now I haven't fully committed to it yet because I haven't been able to get a place to stay yet. Waiting to hear back from a couple of places on availability for that weekend. If I can't get a place to stay, then I'll probably do CTC again.

An Austinite here, travel thru most of hill country by motorbike and do bicycle work outs near my home base. Never attempted a very long course like the one you completed….great job. Wondering if you tend to serpentine up the tougher hills? Good job

Thank you my friend! My brother-in-law lives in Austin. I've done a few rides there too. I did the LiveStrong Challenge a couple of years ago. The 60 miler. Two of the Cap-Tex triathlons and the Austin 70.3 half Ironman when it used to be there.
When it comes to climbing hills, I think I may have serpentined up a couple of hills, but mainly I just grind straight up!
