h8 to admit it but it didnt work and idk how but it broke 2 bearings in the process. If u value ur sk8s then dont try this :\ just needed to warn people so no offence
@@Char1ieskate You're supposed to swap in parallel if you wanna keep a rocker. For anti-rocker you swap 13 / 24) (in parallel pairs in X direction to opposite skates, without flipping the wheels edges). You could just swap pairs within the same skate, 12 and 34 (flipping the edges too) so anti-rocker becomes rocker and viceversa but that technique is not advised for marathon skaters as you'd want the bearings always rotate in the same direction so internally the bearing wears towards one direction, the metal adapts to that, and if you reverse it an go fast small metal flattened burrs (more like flakes) in the rails/balls could come lose. At lower speeds and if you flow skating back and forth the bearing direction doesn't matter at all.
@@SaccoBelmonte this was very early on in my skating journey... my comment was completely wrong and it was my fault my bearings broke. now i know much more about skates and how to rocker them. but thanks for writing such a long comment. i will keep it for future reference. thanks!
I rotated the wheels on my skates for the first time and I wondered the same. Besides wanting even edges, you can decide if you want a rocker or anti-rocker setup. You can alternate the two options to even out the diameters a bit so if you wanna keep a rocker setup that is not too pronounced you go around in an anti-rocker setup to eat up some of the bigger wheels.
These are indeed nice words to hear from someone like you, who is an expert in this field! Thanks I am excited to soon hit the 1k - this will allow to finally monetize the channel after 1.5 years work and that will allow me to subscribe for at least the epidemic sounds to get music + to cover premiere pro costs :) And then we will take it from there.
Thanks! This definitely made me not giving up my triskates. Whenever I do the traditional rotating, they become unmaneuverable to a point I just want to throw them at the wall!
Hey thanks man! I am struggling with skating a bit at the moment as the weather is not good for it while skateparks are closed :) but trying to use every chance I get!
@@VandKoala Im terrible at skating but I can practice in my studio on rainy days and been working on my smaller skills like heal/toe stand, walk, turn. I even practice jumping with confidence in my house so I learn how to land in all different directions. I Seek Skills!!
Ennui city brace. I have worn down one set in a year of active use and now started the second one. I love them. They have metal supports from both sodes of a wrist and laces work well in holding it all together
@@VandKoala only from old age or humidity they start to turn yellow. I know people who get fresh wheels and they stay white for a few months. Sure, I will pin your comment at the top. I still use this method and it works well for me :)
@@VandKoala what happended to me was i swapped out the front 2 and the back 2. was i supposed 2 do it like that or should i have done it different?

@@Char1ieskate Probably you broke the bearings by not using the spacers?

What is the traditional rotating and what rotation style do you alternate?

Any time spent on skates add to the practice. Regular practice makes miracles, but I know you already know it :)

great that's what I was looking for... thank you!

can you tell me some budget rockered frames? under £50 preferably
I am not aware of such mate 🤷🏻♂️
@@VandKoala also can you explain how this set up actually rockers the skates. Thankyou!

Why are your hydrogens yellow instead of white
Abused anemic wheels 🤣
All white wheels turn yellow after use...
