@cptcanada the reason you didnt have many RA callouts on landing by the EGPWS was because the only EGPWS RA callouts Southwest has on their fleet irl is “100”, “50”, “30”, “10”. The PM will make the other calls for the PF. PM calls are “500”, “approaching minimums” “Minimums” On landing, the PMs callouts are “Extended” for speedbrake extension “Deployed” for reverse deployment “Autobrake disarm” when the amber autobrake disarm light comes on “60kts” when slowed to 60kts. Let me know if you have any further questions. Enjoy flying Southwest! 💙❤️💛
You brought back awesome and very informative video content. Thanks captain! I think this format was way more informative than the other pre-edited videos.
All I care about is whether or not the airliners are as bouncy and as flexible/shaky as in xplane 12, especially on hard landings. I felt like in 2020 the models and the suspension are so stiff.
Its because in msfs2020 the terrain was essentially flat. In msfs 24 its not flat but has geometry. So things should be allot more bouncy depending on the surface.
Just watching the Cirrus footage. Even on the ground, I had to look closely to see if it was the sim or not 😅 In the air, you can see how crazy 2024 is.
Actually, the official statement Hype Performance Group gave was that it was pulled because of legal reasons. It’s owned by Global Supertanker Aviation and it was developed and released without their knowledge or permission. MSFS is probably able to use it because they went through the proper channels and coordinated with GSA.
@@CptCanadaOk cool. I know you had plenty of other things to keep you busy, so I understand. Pretty cool what we have in store for us come Nov 19 2024. And my prayers and sympathies to you and your family regarding Daisy.
Just asking a quick question - you mentioned the wipers "do work", but then followed that up by saying you only believed they did. How certain are you that they actually work? This seems trivial, but it's such an immersion killer for me when I'm flying in weather to see wipers that don't do anything and I'm genuinely curious if you saw it working or you just believe they do. Thanks!
Someone asked the devs during the event, in which I believe it was answered with yes, they will work. There's been a few 3rd party devs that have figured out how to do it, I'm sure the team over at Asobo have done the same!
@@CptCanada Fingers crossed that it wasn’t misunderstood when the question was asked and they responded with “yes they work”, meaning they physically move back and forth lol. What we have now in 2020 with some of the devs is just smeared water overlay. Let’s hope they got it right this time.
Lol, well, as a full time LIVE streamer, it's what you kind of have to expect... There's been hundreds of other videos covering the event, may I suggest you watch one of those?

the saab 340B would be amazing to have as Australia where i’m from uses them on small regional routes
Booked a Virgin Australia flight from Canberra to Sydney earlier this year. Must admit I was surprised when a Link Airways Saab pulled up!
The Saab will be perfect for FlyTampa Sydney to Dubbo flights, and I’ll love doing the walkaround and all!
Can’t wait to do the Albany to Perth flights!

Interesting that u didnt need ti turn in ground power for the screens to work in the max
for the efb will you have to put every waypoint manually or will there be something to just insert your route?
Small detail on supertanker. It was going to be released like a year ago but the dev pulled it to be in msfs 2024

THANK YOU for the info on MFS2024. Sorry about your dog.
I remember in MSFS 2020 you couldn't fly under the bridges. DID anyone test that out that you know of?
Will helicopters be visible as helicopters to other players in online play? In MSFS2020, helicopters are currently displayed as planes.
I would like to think so!
Sorry cap if I missed it, maybe you mentioned it. I saw all these AI models with different airlines etc, do you know if these will show up in Vatsim?
I believe these will be used by the in game "live" traffic
Thanks so much for previews cpt, sim looks phenomenal 😍 ✈️ air transat 321 ops when it comes out...?

Captain, do you know if they fixed the wrong local time zones? (Examp: Hawaii should be
UTC -1000, & not
UTC -1100).
I have no clue, but I hope so!

Yooo! 💚
How to choose between xp12 and msfs2024?
Personal choice!
are there official systemrequirements?
@@benbua3462 yup, check flightsimulator.com
Can I download the game to a external HD because I fly on my laptop
Should be ok, I would suggest and external SSD!
Why would they do that event with so many people using crappy internet…. That’s sucks
Don''t think it was "crappy", just everyone trying to load in all at once!
how is the ATC?
Did not test, sorry!
Too many new small/single engine airplanes, only one new business jet.
I mean, lets be real... The 3rd party devs will take care of ALL our needs when it comes to commerical acf.
@@CptCanada I hope so. There hasn't been any great third party business jets so far.
Man I don't like these live videos. Too many shout outs when we just want to learn about the new sim.
