Until Nintendo says something I am going to remain skeptical and not get carried away.
That's completely logical and makes a ton of sense.
We like having a little fun and speculate though, even if it's not super logical.
That's a perfectly fine way to do things.
Revealing the Switch 2 in-between the PS5 Pro reveal and Tokyo Game Show would be perfect.

For real, Switch 2 has been "around the corner" for like 2 years.
I feel like if it was really happening something would have leaked outside of the supposed release date.
The moment this console release the rumor mill for the Lite and Pro version will start...
With anticipation being so high , I just hope it lives up to our expectations
And I agree with BoTalks, I think they need to do a bigger presentation to show how different the next console is different from the current one, and which games might entice customers to buy it
The only reason I think it could be the first week of October is if Nintendo wants Echoes of Wisdom to have its moment in the sun first on 9/26. Would be weird to have Switch 2 black hole the spotlight on this major new game.
I don’t think a console reveal is gonna massively hurt game sales, especially if the next console is backwards compatible
I cannot wait to see the first new Monolith Soft and Fire Emblem games on Switch 2, and how much room they have to work with now.
I feel like Metroid Prime 4 will work similar to how Zelda Breath of the Wild worked, releasing for the Switch and Switch 2 on the same day, the Switch 2 release day.

I don’t think Nintendo should have any real reason to be concerned about the PS5 Pro. This is a mid gen refresh for Sony’s steadily selling console vs Nintendo about to announce probably the biggest generational leap since Wii to Wii U which will be following their like second best selling console of all time.

They're not going to announce a new console a week before the new Zelda comes out, it'll be in October
That said, they really need to make sure the messaging is clear about what the Next Switch is and what distinguishes it from OG Switch. We don't want to have the confusion from Wii to WiiU marketing.
Everyone is SO skeptical, and I agree we shouldn't get our hopes up until Nintendo announces a direct without the Switch successor disclaimer, BUT, from the reports that the system is about to go into assembly, Nintendo has to make an announcement before that, or it will get leaked anyway. So, I'm not holding my breath, but it seems like the reveal will happen soon. Besides they've announced all the games coming out until January 2025, so unless they have another huge game to announce, which if they did, why would they move the Indie World and Partner direct to a combined presentation, why wouldn't they have left that in September and added another game to it? I think the assembly of the Switch 2 moved up, so they had to move up those presentations to make room for the Switch 2 announcement
I think Nintendo are planning to reveal it either next week or the week after, but maybe they’re just waiting to see what Sony do to lock in the week so they’re just getting everything clear now just so they can adjust easily
Well, I don't know if we could get a Switch 2 presentation in September and not get a general Direct or if we are getting a Nintendo Direct and not get a Switch 2 presentation on September and move it to October or if we are just not getting anything from Nintendo and getting nothing then I don't know. But I know that a lot of people including me are excited for what Nintendo could show for Switch 2 like showing us the GameCube Library, The Mii Maker Editor from Miitopia being added to the new Mii Maker, a new Eshop, and a new home menu with music just like how they did with the Wii. And also for the games as well like the next new 3D Mario, new Mario Kart, the sequel to Kirby and the Forgotten Land, a new Donkey Kong, new Zelda, new Punch-Out, new Pokemon, new Metroid, new F-Zero, and new Star Fox. But again there still some 3DS and GameCube games that need to come to Switch before we move on to Switch 2 like for the 3DS Kirby Triple Deluxe, Kirby Planet Robobot, and Tomodachi Life and for GameCube Star Fox Assault, Luigi's Mansion 1, Kirby Air Ride, and any of the Mario Party Games on GameCube. But I hope Nintendo does show us something for a Switch 2 Presentation, or a General Nintendo Direct, or nothing but we'll see what happens.
At this point, I want this console announced so people stop making videos about IT’S GONNA BE ANNOUNCED NOW, GUYS! I SWEAR! PINKY PROMISE!
Snark aside, yeah, it’s probably upcoming. But I don’t buy any “insider” info until Nintendo confirms something.
But if I may offer an anti-conspiracy conspiracy theory about why they did Indie World and the Partner Showcase together- it was probably a case of “these don’t generate as much hype as our presentations, let’s put them together and that’ll get more attention.” And even if for argument’s sake, it was to clear the slate for Switch 2, it could still also have been to get two lesser hype presentations to be more hype. And it worked, since a lot of people really liked the double Direct.
Hope nobody at Nintendo lost their job because this guy hacked the menu of that Zelda game.
Hoping it will be announced soon but doubts. I feel as if we have deja vu we are so close but so far away.

Definitely looking forward to the switch successor but I just got a switch in February, and with 80 games now and only 1 finished, I've got some time lol
Interesting, i heard it was supposed to be in mass manufacture this month not October
ZA is definitely not a crossgen game.
The only way ZA is going to be shown off is in a Pokémon Presents(we literally nothing about the game besides its setting)and if the Switch 2 is revealed before that Presents then it can’t have ZA as one of the games in the reveal.
They are definitely saving Gen 10 Pokemon as the first official Switch 2 Pokemon game.
I'm so tired of these analyst saying this and predicting that. I'm just so tired of it all.
And I don't think Nintendo cares about the ps5 pro, because they are two different consoles, and because the pro isn't that big of an upgrade from ps5, Switch 2 is a huge upgrade from Switch, from what we've heard
Nobody cares about ps5 pro ... they had no exclusives in months. And now that Nintendo its going to be in equal terms with the ps5 in power theres no reason to get one.

I appreciate the news coverage as always but I don't believe we'll see Switch 2 yet, not when we have a new Mario, Zelda and Mario Party on the way. Makes way more sense to wait until January at the earliest.
As much as I like your Nintendo Switch content I think you might want to cool down on these Switch 2 Rumors. I’m getting Burnt out seeing those videos pop up from plenty of RUclipsrs.
I think most of the audience (including me) just would wait until all the Information on the Switch 2 or Nintendo’s next Console is Officially shown or Announced.
As of right now we can just wait patiently.

It’s page 357 of the Switch 2 speculation thread on Famiboards. He said he wouldn’t get his hopes up for a September reveal which implies either he doesn’t know when it’s happening or it’s not happening in September.
@BoTalksGames OK, fair enough, but I'm gonna be here when you and other content creators have to explain where the switch 2 announcement is if it doesn't happen in September since you've all peddled the story so hard. But even though I do get annoyed of switch 2 talk I do believe its probably this month just so the damn content farming and rumours can end.
I think z-a could be a cross gen game because nintendo of America put "coming to switch systems" in plural and its also strange that we've not gotten any more information yet
You are putting too much stock into that wording. Was already "debunked" the day that tweet went out. They had the same wording for Detective Pikachu Returns tweet. All that indicates, is that it is for the Switch family of systems, i.e. the Lite, OLED, and regular Switch.
