Great MCE by GM and another great video review by you.
In the US you can get the adaptive dampers
Love the engine sound effects. Hysterical 😅. Had one as a rental in Florida. Not a bad vehicle
Ha ha! I didn’t have much of a choice! The last time I drove one of these was in Florida in 2019. That episode is on the channel too.
Solid Review!
Glad you liked it!
Lovely review Brian as always. Really love the Cadi. I just wish cars in general were a little more affordable as many of us Canadians still make the same money that we did many years ago, unfortunately. Anyhow, Toronto can be really scary to drive in, especially on the highways.
Cheers!

Loved the sound effect in the opening drive-by. Sounded like Bobby Rahal at the Indy 500. Did you say this is a turbo? Because I almost missed the subtle badging under the hood. One thing I found when trying to "build" an XT4 on their website, is that their web site is horrible. Instead of detailed lists of features on the various trim levels, they've loaded it with flowery adjectives. I've built cars on sites by Mazda, Honda, Toyota, and Subaru, and in comparison, Cadillac's is a joke. Really difficult to tell what comes on the vehicle. I was trying to compare a low end XT4 with top end competitors. This video was very helpful in sorting out what this vehicle is and is not. Thanks!
Clown world everywhere. Great review as always.
That whole situation was caused by the usual jerk who must cut off other cars to gain a perceived half car length advantage as if it’s the last lap of the 24 Hours of Daytona.
No blind spot monitoring?
Probably, but I never pay attention to features like that because blind spots are a myth.
@@BrianMakse Doesn’t mention it on the web site so I wonder if Cadillac doesn’t have it. It’s the one safety feature I actually would use. Thanks
Cylinder deactivation on a 4 turbo, what could possibly go wrong?
How about a Lamborghini with cylinder deactivation?
I had cylinder deactivation on my 2019 CTS 3.6L. Drove it to 70k+ miles and had 0 issues with it. If you take care of your vehicle, it will take care of you.
The XT4 is a nice car, but with the same loaded up level of options it would have cost $55k versus the $49k I paid for a BMW X2. For that difference I was willing to wait the three months it took for the X2 to get to from Germany to California, and the unfortunate styling job on the new X2.
