It is RIDICULOUS to waste water and Gas...My SUPER TIP.... and I do it everytime ;) Pour hot tea in cup, put it back in the pot and give another boil and pour it back in already hot cup... takes 1 mins and no wastage.

in the uk, its very hard to find loose tea leaves, its either in tea bags, or loose crushed tea- same as the bags, they lack the flavour of proper tea leaves... is there a particular type of tea, or even a brand that we can get here, or search for online that is the same? any help is much appreciated, thankyou :)

The ginger and the cardamom must be added at the end before u switch off the gas burner. This will prevent loss of flavor of the masala.

Don't know where in the UK you are but I get loose tea from a place called Lee Rosy's in Nottingham. They have an online shop as well. There must be loads of places like them though you just have to look!! Loose tea is obviously going to be more pricey than bags but that's cos it's much better ;)

How can anybody feel proud after wasting one cup of water early in the morning daily.. if you are throwing that one cup of water that means you are wasting 150ml daily which is 4.5litres monthly and 54litres yearly .. so do not throw that hot water away use that again instead..
