- In this video I go over aircraft I would have rather seen in the new War Thunder Event swords of justice. Most of these aircraft would have made very cool and unique event vehicles that could have been added to War Thunder.

I really hope the Jag gets its IRCM pod as well since that’s the WHOLE reason there is only one gun on the Jaguar.

I am wating for the day gaijin introduces fox 3 and then in the very next patch mig 21 bison will come with 2 astra mk1 fox 3 and 2 r27/73 as premium and the whole air rb skies will be filled with top tier bretain grinders running here there with pulse doppler mig 21 😅
Speaking of the F9F Emerson Turret, the soviets also modified a MiG-17 with 3 23mm cannons that could be depressed or elevated it also had its intakes moved to the sides, its designation was the MiG-17SN.

Shit, even a meme vehicle like the XF-85 Goblin would be super cool to see and far more interesting than a jaguar.
America and Britain had some float jets that would be awesome additions to the game. Like the F2y1 sea dart, think f102 but instead of gear it has skies and the engine intakes are on top of the aircraft. The aircraft literally floated on its delta wing. Before USA came up with the design of its more modern super carriers they considered using float jets to get around the lack of carrier take off and landing space for the new jet era. Plus USA even considered submarine aircraft carriers in which each vessel would have 3 of these sea darts avalible for deployment. There are a few sea darts on display in USA and you can watch videos on its history online. Its so cool, for it to not be in the game is a travesty.
I would've loved to see something interesting like the Renard R.36 as a low tier reward that requires only 30k mission score per two days.
We could get the cf100 Canuck, it is an early jet which could be put in rank 5 for Britian as the cf100 is from Canada, it has 8 50.cals and is basically a modified Gloster meteor and looks similar to the meteor but still has uniqueness. Second plane we could have is the f16XL which is an f16 with a delta wing design, shaped like a draken but it can have missiles on wing tips and 17 hard points carrying up to 15000 pounds, also it has the standard Vulcan. It could be 12.0

i know its an prototype that never made it into production, but i would like to see the Avro Arrow in the game. its an fat bomber interceptor that was fast and made by canada. it would probably be not super good. but it would be fun that's for sure.
Depends on what they could give it the Aim-4 is a bit rough, but pretty much every weapon system was canceled on the plane
BR went upto 11.0 so it's kinda even a harder sell for this Jaguar
Its Marut not Murat, also As a member of the Indian War Thunder Squadron, we had the chance of having Nova visit us and it was a lot of fun searching for cockpit images for the HAL Marut, althought it was 2 years ago.
The CF 100 Canuck would be high on my list of airplanes to grind together with the rest of the century series jets. I love the cold war era jets and these aren't even prototypes but full blown production models.
maybe better for a minor event due to low tier but a tier 3 swedish fighter J30 (early planned spitfire mk9 before the deal fell through due to low supply during ww2)
The sad thing is they could have picked other Indian Jaguars which might be more interesting, such as the 2 seat version, or the radar versions, or hell, they could even have given it Indian bombs (HSLD family). Theres actual intereting Jaguars but gaijin seems to have wanted the easiest clone they could go with (and people are contesting that they even screwed it up there).
Though yeah, Marut would have been interesting, or the Tejas, or the Ajeet.
All they need to do to make the air events interesting would be to NOT add another fucking ground attack aircraft in the event. Also it would be nice to get mid tier jets or props instead of grinding for some top tier missile slinger where the plane really doesn't matter anymore it just matters what missiles and how many CM it gets.
The YF-17 would be nice, it only carried 2 sidewinders and the M61, its like the F-5E but faster and more numble, could make it 11.0. I'd love to see it.

I just wish every event wasn't some stupid top tier nonsense. I know it brings them in the money the most and a lot of people love it but as someone who has played WT for over a decade and still prefer the 1.0-7.7 range (mostly the 1.0 - 4.0 area) it pains me to nearly never see something from ww2/interwar period. Last thing I grinded was the Ka-Chi and the Ki-48-II, the latter being a big hunk of garbage BUT IT IS UNIQUE AND COOL and that is why I got it. I really like that F9F idea cause it would probably suck to use but that is okay because it is cool!
I got the same opinion here, also would be nice if it wasn't a ground attacker aswell. But about the F9F, it would probably be the most broken vehicle in the game if it came at the same br (also if the turret could reload like every other gunner), I have mastered battleshipping with bombers: 10kd with B-34, 4kd Lincoln, 3kd Halifax, 4kd p61, 5kd a20g. It's very possible to dogfight in the gunner view with bombers, i can only imagine how broken it would be in a decent fighter. It's really unfair because while you are rolling scissors with a mig 15 you could just be spraying them down the entire time without needing your nose on target because it has 180° AOA at the nose.
As someone from the Netherlands i have to say some more Fokker aircraft. Like maybe the D.XXIII or G.1. Or the DAF YP-408, as a ifv

honestly i just want warthunder to get more unique vehicles in general we dont always have to have high tier vehicles come out theres something for everyone out there that hasnt been added yet

I only play Ground Arcade and Air Relistic. Even the Su-25 is a better plane in ARB than what the Jaguar IS would be at their respective BR. I was excited about the events since those events are "top heavy" when they do changes like this (putting in the cool stuff at the start to hook people in) and the Obj292 was one of these "heavy hitters". But i'm really not feeling the Jaguar IS

Really depends these vehicles most likely where for a crafting event that never came so the 292 would have been the hype vehicle while this jaguar would have been the meh one. During a normal event. After these first 3 event vehicles come out we will then have a idea how how special they will be.

I don’t hate the jaguar but there are so many other better choices for event vehicles that could be brought to the game in its place that it feels like a waste of an event. It’s not as bad as the F-100 or the SU-25 but we already have an event Jag in game. I personally would have wanted something like the F-107 or YF-12 instead.
I don't think they would make the yf-17 an event vehicle for an other reason, cause with that you couldn't easily buy yourself in the absolute toptier. Except the plane is worse that the f14 and f16. Bjt please correct me if I'm wrong there:)

If gaijin puts all the existing special vehicles now by the future there wouldn't be any other (prototype) or anything other special rare tank to put in the future, gaijin is putting 1 rare vehicle every 3-6 events which is OK

I dont know but I have had a thought about a event vehicle that could test a new small feature. Ive always thought about an SF or AJSF 37 Viggen. Its a reconnasince variant and I think it could be used as a "scout" plane that can scout targets like a light tank. So when you scout a player as the plane, you get a small reward and a bigger one when its destroyed. It wouldnt really work in ARB but I think it would be a new cool feature in GRB.

This plane is a joke... Ground RB got it's event tank, why Air players have to get a plane designed for use in Ground? We don't play ground, we do not want to play ground... And yeah magic-2s are great but you can already have those with the Mirage F1 which is better in every way for Air RB and also carries 530s... Btw the plane's BR is now 11.0.. Not that it's fine facing 10.0s with magic 2s but still, there are 11.3s with magic-2s in the game already...

Id love to see more ww2 fighters, the P-63D (fastest King Cobra with a bubble canapy), XP-40Q2 (when a P-40 and a P-51 love eachother) the FM-2 (1350hp F4 Wildcat), hell, theres several Indigenous australian aircraft that I'd like to see! The list could go on and on.

I think these events should be for the weird and wakey I'd actually play aviation if they offered something like the OV-10 bronco or something out in left field
