A real masterpiece!! I used to listen to this piece over and over again. It's this kind of monumental and complex work that indeed defines Frank the genius!
I've always thought the only way to describe Zappa's music to someone who doesn't know him at all is comparing it to cartoon music. This video proves I'm right and I LOVE IT. Btw, funny to see that a cartoon character was drumming on a wheel decades before Zappa did it on the Steve Allen Show.
Jean Luc was on the Overnight Sensation album. He is on some of the other myriad of live releases from that period. The Bossa Nova Take Your Clothes Off was actually a pre Mothers Zappa studio recording from 1961 with a group of LA Session players. You can find it on The Lost Episodes compilation..cut #7.
One of my favorite pieces of music to turn my stereo up to 11 and rattle the fuck out of my neighbor windows with since they piss n moan about my music . Such a beautiful composition.
DEPENDS. RECORDED IN 1972-74 OR PUBLISHED IN 1978 0R 79. I AM NOT A PURIST. I ONLY LIKE FRANK'S MUSICA. YOU MAY NEED TO CONTACT GOOGLE OR THE PLENTIFUL PURISTS TO FIND THE EXACT DATES. THANKS FOR POPPING IN.
Saddened to see the central scrutinizer all caps theme go away. But glad you’re back. I’m in the US and have been donning my vote for Zappa t shirt a lot lately. Cheers to you

Written in 1972. This version recorded in December 1974. First released on 'Studio Tan' in 1978.

Thanks for that. It is also a good way or some to understand English better.
