Seems pretty good to me man , especially if it has some different body options. The winch maybe isn’t that good but pretty sweet! For trails I think it would be awesome! Dude the nose manual was crazy my jaw dropped haha 😂 glad to see the kids out having fun too another great video
Ya the winch could be better but a neat option for minimal extra. Definitely would help getting unstuck on rails as you said! The nose manual was epic indeed 😂.

Hobbywing or castle crawler system and that thing ull be a tank. Didn't realize they actually made a very good capable jeep! Surprisingly well made, well from what I can see on the video. Thank you for doing what you do. I've gotten a lot of useful tips tricks and insight on this hobby we love.

This is another great review and a lot of fun. It performed very well. I watched another reviewer,, who like yourself, was not a WL Toys fan. He ran it toughly also and was impressed with the improvement. Ii'm not sure who thought that body was a good idea, but they were wrong. Your crawling area looks great and tests crawlers. The rough rocks really tests durability. Keep up the good work.

I miss the days when companies like this used to produce budget rigs.
Now that Arrma has decided to price itself with traxxas, it seems these other companies have forgotten what "budget" means.
Yes that rig is a good value, I won't say it isn't, but I couldn't imagine spending anything over 200 on any wltoys product.
I do hear ya. Some prices have gotten out of hand. A lot of the cost is definitely in shipping. They need to all get together and find a massive US warehouse for all the budget brands to split and just have suppliers ship directly to that in bulk lol
What are you on about with arrma pricing? They recently redesigned the 4s trucks, added a center diff and dropped the price $20 to boot. The 8s rigs were momentarily the same price as an Xmaxx but Traxxas added worse tires to the Xmaxx and jacked the price $100. Plus in the last month both big arrma trucks have been on sale for $850. The Xmaxx hasn't been $850 since it was launched as a 6s model.
Every Arrma model is consistently priced lower than its Traxxas equivalent (if there is one). Prices for everything have went way up but I thought Arrma had did a decent job of keeping their trucks very competitively priced. If that doesn't suit you then I highly recommend Redcat. They are my favorite budget priced brand. The Vigilante and Valkyrie are both priced $150 less than the Arrma trucks and $250 or more less than Traxxas options. I have them all and the Redcats are right with or even above the big guys in performance and durability.
I have been pretty impressed with Arrmas pricing. Especially the sale the granite hits on occasion. The redcats look awesome for sure. I guess they didn’t trust me to review one lol

I love this body due to its resilience to damage. If those were cheaper, I'd like that on my crawler a lot. Plus figurine ease of installation is sweet

😂 It’s not too weak. I seriously probably dropped it like that about 20 times, but still slightly on the brittle side lol

@@DerbyCityRC to most at early stage of low cost small scale bashers…because they’re cheap and after market parts are widely available and cheap too! But it was you who introduced me to a wider and better options with even fully stock rigs (mjx, hbx) so now WLtoys is just part of my rc history, until now to say the least 😂😂😂

Looks okay for what it is but compared to something like a trx4 the shocks seem a bit stiff and the drivetrain may not be as durable but so far… nice!

Really cool video but I think I’m going to pass on the crawler. It does seem good but man I’ve got my eyes on that Orange colored Arma felony (I know completely different kinda car) but seeing that the price for it, including batteries and charger gonna run almost $1,000. Gotta save up some money for that one so can’t be buying any other ones before hand 😂 otherwise I’ll end up buying 4 or 5 $2-$300 trucks in between time.

Great trail run and crawling. Looks a bit off with the tires it comes with. Might be better to use a little taller and wider tire. Just my humble opinion.

You need to get a mini crawlers for inside like the ax24 or the scx24
I do have several mini FMS FCX24s and FCX18s. Also an HBX 1/24 Devastator. No axials yet 😆

In Germany, this thing is available under the DF models brand (DF-4s Pro) since a few months. Actually it looks like every df model rc is a rebranded wltoys. Not sure if they just buy the license or are somehow involved with wltoys🤷♂️
But the df model version is around 380€ (420$) now, launch price was 450€ (500$) lol from banggood its avaible for 250-280€ with no additional costs.
Must be nice to scam europeans lol

It’s certainly not for everyone, but $100 less than a FCX10 isn’t too bad.
Can it run on 3S? Is it nearly as fast as the MJX?
I don’t believe it’s rated to take a 3s, but Aaron at Discipline RC put a 3s on his Bronco version and it seemed to take it ok from what I remember. Probably not recommended for long term lol. It’s not quite as fast as the mjx but might be with the 3s.
