- Here we go, this is the official start to the 2021 MLF Bass Pro Tour season. I am headed west to Sam Rayburn, Texas. That place has got 'em. I am coming off of a major win at Eufaula and I want to ride that momentum. The issue is the weather. We have to dodge a little weather to get around to get there.

Rayburn is better right now. No grass on Toledo right now. Sabine River authority sprayed the giant salvia and killed all grass on Toledo but we coming back. Fishing is about to be sick on the bend.

Rayburn is better in spring. Toledo has more offshore stuff for when the fishing gets tough. Depends on what you like

Rayburn is 100% better than Toledo right now. Like JDUB said most of the time it comes down to grass and they keep spraying all of the grass in Toledo for the last few years but it’s looking like this year they’re keeping the water down to work on the dam which is allowing that grass to start growing near the bank so I think it could be making a comeback this year but I still would rather fish Rayburn over Toledo any day of the week
