In Korea, it is called the K2 rifle. When I was in the military, I remember using the K2 (DR200) rifle in the front and the M16A1 rifle as a personal weapon in the rear.
not mentioned also is that gas system gives recoil 2/3 of a AR, Yes I know 223 is already not much of a recoil round but after 1000rnds of rat exterminations in one afternoon (with no cleaning and no feed/firing failures) the lesser recoil is very appreciated. Oh and about that GAS ADJ knob From the Manual : Gas regulation The gas regulator is mounted at the front to the cylinder and has a milled cap which can be rotated to one of the positions marked respecti- vely 0(ZERO), L, M and S. To rotate the gas regulator, depress the detent (Fig. 5) and rotate the gas regulator. '0' the valve is fully closed, no gas passes to the cylinder. "M" The normal firing position is with the regulator set on 'M' 'L' is an oversized port reserved for those occasions when the rifle is locking in energy due to fouling or the entry of the sand or snow etc. and 'S' is an undersized port reserved for the occasion when the rifle is excessive in energy due to extreme heat.
Wish we could get K1 and or K2 rifles here in Canada. Sadly here it was banned by name in the 90s. So even if Korea wanted to export them they'ed probably get rejected even though AR10/15s and AR18s are legal. The laws are really silly and I could go on ad nauseam about them, but I'll just leave it there.
@@firydeth it's not the pace, it's the fluff. but i know every author/creator thinks every word or split second of their work is "essential" when they're starting out, so i won't belabor the point.
@@xmnemonic Wow, you got me there. The first video I posted was only in 2008. But don't worry, I'll keep working at it and I'm sure I'll make it out of noob status someday.
Awesome video. Thanks for making the Ugly Duckling an Ugly Duckling. Love my Woo. First thing I did was have the shop replace the thumbhole stock 922r compliant during the Dros period. Picked it up and it's a sexy ugly duckling. 🤣 Thank for the cool review. Cheers!
I swear, this guy makes the best gun videos on youtube. I haven't laughed this hard since CarnikCon.

와 이 총을 해외에서 어떻게 구했데?
DR200이라고 k2의 민수형으로 연사랑 점사만 뺀 반자동 소총이라네요.
really interesting gun and nice review overall. editing could be tightened up a bit.
Sorry it wasn't edited to the normal breakneck speed I'm sure you're used to from modern youtube videos. it runs at this pace by design.
