I don't get why they don't get the attention they truly deserve. I'm from India and I've been an Amorphis fan for nearly 20 years. Almost every single album is a work of art, particularly their later works. They're one of the rare few bands that only get better with time.

It’s a very strange. I lost my son last month. I’m still in big grief. Today I listen to this song and do not know the lyrics. But when I started to listen, I really cried a lot and deeply. I don’t know the reason why just think melody was so sad. However, I just read the lyrics and really surprised and cried again. Also this song is about the saving and plea for the song of dead son. Actually I like music like Judas priest, Running wild, Iron maiden, Sabaton, Grave digger something exciting. However since I lost my son, only listen to songs like Amorphis. The music remind me of my heart and grief. Moreover today’s my experience was so surprised. Still I’m in big grie, but thanks for the music which I can feel comfort and reflect my sadness.

Their entire discography is unbeatable, very unique and essential to my life. It is the perfect soundtrack to my endeavors and adventures. From Karelian to Queen of time, I am so glad i first heard of them back in High School in 06'.

First time I saw this video and heard this song, I immediately called around town for stores that sold the CD and found one who had one copy. I hopped in the car and drove and I don't even remember where I was living at the time or what store it was, but after flipping through the alphabetized jewel cases of myriad bands, I found the CD and was in awe of the beautiful cover art. Many years later, I did the same thing with Opeth's Blackwater Park (even longer drive). In the last ten years, that's the only two times I can think of where I didn't use Amazon, and I can't even remember the last time I saw a CD store around here.

I like all the eras of Amorphis, and my two favourite Amorphis albums are Tales from the thousand lakes and Skyforger. But if I had to choose the best singer, I'd definately choose T.Joutsen 'cause he is so great in both growl&clean singing :) Finnish metal perkele!

I like all the eras of Amorphis, and my two favourite Amorphis albums are Tales from the thousand lakes and Skyforger. But if I had to choose the best singer, I'd definately choose T.Joutsen 'cause he is so great in both growl&clean singing :) Finnish metal perkele!
