  • Titleist invited me to a private driver fitting to see what TSR driver is best for my golf swing. The Titleist TSR 2, Titleist TSR 3 and Titleist TSR 4 make up their new driver lineup. After the driver fitting we narrow down one of the new TSR drivers that I can take onto the golf course.

Hmmm. I did a similar fitting. I still use my Cobra LTDX LS. At the end of my Titleist fitting I went back and tried my Cobra and got the same numbers as the TSR3 I was fit for. The ball speed you gained could have been because you had hit so many drives it became automatic for you.

As much as you nail the cover of the ball, I'd love to see how you would do with a slightly more narrow stance and really getting over to your left side, I think you would have an easier time getting through it. • @NewNineGolf

Ya the shaft was 1/2 in shorter. I told Max accuracy was more important so maybe that's why he gave me a shorter shaft. I'm 6'3. Hmmm I think without a fitting. I would go with a standard shaft at first and test it out. Always easier to trim it and add some weight than to add shaft extension if you don't like it. Max actually went back to school so I think the best way is to contact Titleist on their website and they can let you know when the next fit day is closest to you. Hope that helps. 🍻
