Thanks for recording this video. I like that you showed the difficulties as well as the successes. I imagine that you're a pro at using the thing now that you've had it a few years!
I have a couple titan products. They should all come with a plasma cutter and mig welder! Almost there, just not quite. Once u slice and dice they usually work ok.
When you buy attachments from titan be prepared to tweak! Get out the grinder, and the welder gets to it. All and all a good product for the dough.
@17:42. No need to grind the end of the bolts after the nuts. Had you installed washers on the bolts, there would have been enough clearance without having to take out your grinder. Otherwise, great video.
turn and hold the key to the left to release pressure in the lines
I had a stump bucket not fit like yours... I was able to bend it with force with the baseplate . Tilted it into the ground and drove forward bent the top enough for the pins to fit.
I know that I am 5 years to late, but I would have just flipped the bolt around so the nut was on the other side or if that didn't work I would have marked it, take it off to avoid screwing up the nut from the heat. Oh well, my dad said one time to me "Its cheaper for a reason" that is not always true! Yet it seem to be the rule not the exception.
Now that you have had this product for almost a year what is your opinion?
Great video of the titan product and assembly . I think I will order one tonight , thanks and please keep up the reviews.
Thanks Cory! We plan on purchasing more Titan products and I will do more reviews.
@4:58 the complaints about the upper lip are not uncommon with the imports. It is not uncommon to have to grind off excess material.
@5:48 That is a non issue. The frame of the hoe does not require the SSQA plate to provide support there.
@6:01 Just grind the slot a little larger for the pin to fit. That is a very common "adjustment" on import implements.
The real question is "how well does it dig?" keeping in mind that it is not a dedicated back hoe and is not designed to remove 2 ton boulders...... For a plumber or contractor that does a little underground work, needs an occasional trench dug, it appears this is a great low cost option vs renting a machine that digs a 20" trench and requires a 16' x 26' work area or buying an mini excavator that is ten or twenty times the price.
it needs a spring loaded hose tender. got to keep them hoses safe.
Great video. I just bought this fronthoe primarily because of your video. I have already used it for several things. What size thumb did you get? Mine didn't come with one and I think that would be very helpful. Have you had any issues with the eye hook pin that holds the big bucket pins in? Two of mine keep bending causing the pins to fall out. I haven't come up with a solution to that yet other than to bend them back and reattach them.
Was wondering if they would work on compact tractors with skid steer front adapter
Same question
Cut a piece out of top bracket. Moderation.
