I’ve been around awhile and I believe that American culture has become more open minded and understanding in many ways since say, 1990. I know things seem worse sometimes but I’ve seen a deeper more complex understanding evolve concerning others. This includes how children are treated and taught in schools with different learning styles acknowledged. More understanding of people’s mental health problems. Less hostility toward people who are different. More awareness of the realities of sexual abuse. Appreciation of different beauty ideals. Awareness of causes of addiction, etc.

she's pretty brilliant. She knew her assignment. As uncomfortable as it may be, a defense attorney's job is to DEFEND THEIR CLIENT. That's the way our system has been set up. Her tactics never seemed sleazy, she seemed to believe her client and want justice.
