He puts on a hell of a lot of work and has been through a lot, just in the last year going from ASVEL to Mets92 a team that isn't going to survive because of money problems and won't be in the french league next season.
Everything has been prepared around Wenbenyama for the NBA and he knows it with an enormous amount of pressure on him to perform.
After years of preperation I think he knows he's arrived at a new milestone with new pressure beginning to start as all eyes will be on him when the NBA season gets under way. That's going to be another challenge, the biggest he's faced. Nothing but greatness will be asked of him and from game 1.

Hate to say it but i would bet that a lot of pre draft young men have similiar thought processes before they get into the league. Fingers crossed he gets hit with that reality check and is still able to keep this perspective because if he can, there is nothing stopping this man from becoming the GOAT when he's all said and done. Mental is more important than physical in sports. He seems to have the mental and he clearly won the lottery with the physical. High hopes for this young man!

He is extremely mature for his age. Mentally he is light years ahead most young american NBA players. That is sooo important. I have so many thoughts that I can't put into this comment but he is very special, not only physically and talent-wise but mentally as well. The social media world did possibly make it harder for young athletes, but it also simply filtered out those not mentally focused and resilient enough to ignore the noise.
