    That sanding station/table is amazing! Well thought out and well executed! It may seem like a simple achievement for you but for the rest of us who are still struggling with ideas for space saving, breaking our backs carrying and moving things around this has blown my mind

    Thanks for sharing.
    The coat of oil you're applying is there to raise up the grain before last sanding ?

      No. Oil won't raise the grain. If I wanted to raise the grain prior to sanding, I would wipe the surface with a rag dampened with water. The oil was applied to help me see flaws such as tool marks that I may have missed.
