My favorite is when Jim was actually going to ditch Pam at the dinner party.
You can buy new stuff but you can't buy a new party Jim
Jim’s one true love is himself. If quite a few other scenes did not clue in anyone else, that scene should’ve clued in everyone.
The party was just that bad
@@annekezegers7477 , so, Jim should leave her at a party where Jan may have possibly been trying to poison her?
@@NicoleCzarnecki lol
The snowball back and forth with Jim and Dwight was always hard for me to watch
Dwight did the right thing with that snowman army in the end.
It was very well-deserved, but Jim played victim and literally cried about it. There were many times that his pranks on Dwight could have seriously hurt him (Dwight), so I've got no sympathy for Jim's little nosebleed.
@@jeffjeffries8924 Easy there, no one is on Jim or Dwight's side here...
Dwight's scheme was so well made, it really drove Jim mad lol
It used to be hard for me to watch but after rewatching around the 8th time i realized Dwight deserved his moment since he was constantly being tormented by Jim lol
Dumping Katie on the booze cruise because he was jealous of Pam was an all time douchebag move.
yea but at least he didn’t ride out the relationship being unhappy or dishonest
@@Person-lk1vs Yeah you're right, so it seems like both Pam and Jim are unethical characters
Pam had no problem sticking around with abusive Roy .
Jealous of Pam? He was in love with her. Not jealous of her.
@@ipdjbt yes. He was jealous on the cruise so he was in a bad mood and took it out on Katie.
Gotta love how Jim wrote an entire book and professionally printed it just for the possibility that Dwight happens to look for a book like that on the internet.
That was psychotic. You're married with two kids and a fulltime job. And yet you'll spend hours and mimmum thousands of dollars to self publish a book...to prank a coworker.....so you can smirk and smile about it. C'mon.
@@jordansweet8054There was only one copy of the book. Still, it's too much for a prank but I don't think Jim spent thousands of dollars on that.
I love how even Dwight looks appalled at Jim chucking the snowball through the window.
Dwight was like: “Jim, what have you done?” Lol
Looks like there was a rock in there lol
Because he owns the building
His face is priceless 😂
I AM YOUR 200TH LIKE, TREMBLE!!!!!
The thing is Jim is a realistic character. In fiction there can be good and bad characters. But in real life, we all act like jerks sometimes despite how good we are.
Exactly ^
What makes Jim's writing so great is that people see a version of themselves they want to be in him, while ignoring the negative aspects he has as funny or loveable. I think a lot of people, younger people in particular, really related to Jim the first time the saw the show. Upon working in the real world for a long time and rewatching with more experience, it becomes painfully obvious how Jim subconsciously thinks of himself as superior to people around him. He doesn't show it maliciously, but it's very implicit in the way he treats others.
@@jackmichael448 I would also say this is true for Pam, even though she's a failure in most things she attempts.
@pagalhokya Pam isn't great at anything all she's good for is office babe who ruins everything
Jim as well when he worked at Philadelphia etc he does things without talking about things with Pam both deserve each other and are equal toxic together.
Yup
Jim broke the window with a snowball but they couldn't break it with a CHAIR during the fire
You title it this and don't include the one time everyone actually hates Jim - when he appears to have given himself the bonus.
And what Dwight did that episode was way worse than any prank Jim played on Dwight. Dwight legitimately tried to get him fired. Jim saved Dwight from being fired in Florida.
@@Supermanfan99 Jim deserved it and truthfully, Jim has deserved a sacking on a few occasions
@@Supermanfan99 I wish Jim did get fired, it made me respect Dwight
@@Supermanfan99 , Jim did not even check the list before Dwight gave it to him. Also, it unfortunately would not have been out of character for Jim to do that, and Dwight knew that.
@@rutefernandes7390, yep.
This is just when Jim goes a little overboard with the sarcasm. Also when he walked in the Pre-K Teacher in the bathroom a simple "sorry about before" would’ve prevented that entire awkward discussion with him.
They coulda jus put a lock like 7 feet up the door so kids still couldn't lock themselves in. I thought of that the other day at work. Ours has an old school latch that ya gota bump the door to lock
Ye, that exchange did not have to go that far.
I found it so funny how they made everything worse, but I guess no matter what they said, they wouldn't get in the school, the instructor seemed too much annoyed by that to let it slip
I like how Karen took her computer with her after she quit lol
She learned from Andy taking Josh's
Let's be real here.
Nobody is a hero and "likeable" in this show. That's the fun of it. While I get enjoyment of Jim's pranks on Dwight and Michael, I get even more enjoyment when Jim gets put on the spot or cowers in embarrassment when something totally backfires on him. My favorite was when he first met Charles in his prank tux and Charles's first impression of him immediately sunk in. This guy tried SO hard to get Charles to like him but he wasn't budging, it was awesome.
Creed is always the hero...
let's be real about a fictional show? shut up gtfo
Yeah I think that's one reason why the show resonates with so many people and holds up years later. The characters weren't always playing the same roles; sometimes the hero becomes the villain, and vice versa. It's more true to life, where everyone has good and bad moments.
easily one of the most hated sets up episodes in the entire show, especially if you had been watching the Wire at the same time as the Office came out.... Stringer Bell all of a sudden some doosher inside of an office...? terrible casting I guesss they didnt reazlie how popular each show would be
My boy kevin seems nice
“He’s a jerk / you gave him my desk” at the same time always kills me🤣😂
I loved Karen so much after she criticized Jim and Pam's behavior of mocking Andy, I wish she was a permanent part of the show like Andy was
Proof that Jim isn't always lovable. In fact, he can be a jerk sometimes.
So he's a human then?
For example, most of season 9.
Yeah same with every other character on the show. They're all dicks at certain situations
@@Sheild401 bro it’s a show and a fake character. Quit defending it lol

That 30% chance smack from the front will always get me 😂😂
I think it’s mean and hard to watch
Jim not calling Andy “Drew” despite Andy having been through anger management because of a prank JIM PULLED always gets me. It’s the most douchey thing ever.
Yep, very disturbing
nah bro, andy is the anti-christ, i wouldn't call him some dumb nickname of his choosing either
Dont act like its jim fault Andy punched a wall lol, Andy was a terrible person before anger management literally no one liked him.

Dude, that’ll be like seven hours long
_"No one hates Michael Scott."_ - Michael Scott
Does Michael want to be feared or loved? He wants us to be afraid of how much we love him. And that is the truth!
that would be like 75% of the show and houurs long
I love how Jim slowly realized that his whole life was centered around messing with Dwight, and that pretty much defined his existence.
And then promptly forgot about that during Denali Christmas because Jim face.
"Amongst them was a man; tall, slim ...JIM!"😂😂
The only time I really thought he was a bad person was that first snowball he threw at dwight. That crossed a line, I'm glad he got back for it
It wasn't technically a snowball because there had only been a light dusting.
and dwight assaulting him didnt cross a line??? you people make zero sense
@@nymeric5833 assaulting as a revenge
@@yagesh287 still crossing a line
@@nymeric5833what about all those senseless pranks jim pulls on Dwight
6:41 I just realized that this means Dwight went to the bathroom 24 times over the course of the workday.
Some might have been Angela visits?
Andy was a jerk in the begining, but Jim drove him to a breakdown. And then, when he came back, Jim refused to treat Andy as he wanted to be treated. That scene always rubbed me the wrong way
such as refusing to call Andy by the name he wanted ( Drew )
Jim always knew what was best for Andy. Trying to be someone he wasn't and not loving himself who he was, is what Jim saved Andy from. Like in the episode where Andy thought he was helping Jim with relationship advice but Jim was actually helping Andy get out of his depression.
@chrisandersgalve-sharks4824 good take, i agree.
Me too
@@garyseven4441 Andy didn't really call jim by what he wanted either, rather he called him Tuna
I crack up every time Meredith says "Jim" lol
I forgot all about how Michael drops the key and Jim puts his shoe over it lol
I remember that scene, too, and I thought that one took an incredible amount of sociopathy. If they did an honest reboot of “The Office“ they would show how much Pam regretted being guilted into moving to Austin away from her family and friends, and how damaging Jim was in getting her isolated from her support system.
@@NicoleCzarnecki what… one) what does that have to do with the original comment two) NO, that’s not how that would be. Not the writers or the actors intention, and also… what?!
@@NicoleCzarnecki What friends? Pam doesn't have any friends. She made some random strangers her daughter's godparents...
7:49 When Todd Packer says he knows 'every genus' of Alligators, there is only one existing genus, and two species, the American Alligator and Chinese Alligator. Don't have to be much of a nerd to remember that!
Dwight K. Schrute clearly runs this account.
FALSE
The conflict resolution episode made me see Jim as a bully and felt really bad for Dwight. Most of the pranks were unprovoked and Jim only did them because he was bored. The worst part was Toby ignoring the complaints which made Dwight so frustrated that he threatened to leave Dunder Mifflin.
yeah, but you're forgetting the countless times Dwight was an unprovoked bully and jerk to others in the office. so just because Jim's pranks weren't necessarily as direct retaliation for something doesn't mean Dwight didn't have it coming.
Dwight wanted to cut everyone's healthcare almost entirely just in the third episode, he really made himself deserve these pranks trough the series
You saw Jim as a bully, but not Dwight? How?
Dwight is not a saint . He openly says he would fire half the people the day he becomes manager ,carries a gun
@@1981bevo terrible opinion
I love how everyone excuses all the shitty things Jim does to Dwight.
Dwight is a saint then?
Yep, straightforward workplace harassment.
@@LordTalax You do not harass people who are not "saints." Somebody not being a "saint" is not an excuse
@@olgadmitr1 Yeah whenever I meet someone who isn't a saint I throw a snowball at their face
@@olgadmitr1 People with massive superiority complexes who actively make other people’s lives worse for no reason (Dwight) deserve to be fucked with.
I gotta say I love these complications and I love that there are still new ones coming out after all this time.
Todd Packer is the kind of character that if you write him into too many episodes, becomes very stale. But the way this show does it, its perfect.
Where's the part where he made pam cry, and then she was consoled by the camera guy.
Drunk Pam at the Dundies is my favorite Office moment.
Second is Dwight destroying Jim with snowballs ... and then without snowballs, on the first "real" snow of the year.
Possibly the best moment in the series is when Jim is met with a crowd of snowmen and goes mad thinking Dwight is hiding in one of them but instead he's on the rooftop like an evil mastermind
Jim dumping Amy Adams is the dumbest thing anyone could've done.
She seems like a prude.
In the show she seemed like a pretty shallow person
Pam all the way!
cuz shes hot? she was obv not jim's kinda person
Stop being a simp
The way Jim slapped Dwight 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The Christmas episode was so good. Jim finally got on the other end of a prank gone too far. Though I think Dwight didn't go far enough
Agreed
Heck no! Dwight went too far lol.
I agree, Dwight didn't go far enough 😂
You don't think Dwight went far enough? I think that drawing blood was already too far, and that was, like, the halfway mark.
I think Jim breaking up with Karen is valid. If you realize you have feelings for someone else, it’s best to end the relationship
exactly... i dont know why people seem to think ending a relationship is being a "jerk" its a lot worse to stay in a relationship you arent committed to.-
“what are you doing those are my keys?”
“good luck”
Katie: "Do you think that'll ever be us"
Jim: "No ._."
5:06 "Killer new dance move" 😂
Jim throwing Pam under the bus at Michael's is so funny
Finally, let’s address how Jim just left Karen in NY. Jim thinks everything is a joke. I’m with Charles Minor in this! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I brought that up a long time ago and people suggested I didn't watch the episode. He absolutely left her in NY without a way to get back to Scranton.
That’s why HES THE GOAT 😂
Jim deadass published a book to troll Dwight 😹
Whoa… WHAT?!!! 😳🤯😂😂😂😂 love Jim’s ex’s reaction to being unceremoniously dumped as Jim pines for Pam…!
The fact Jim stayed with Pam with the kids
I thought Everybody hates Chris 😆
Two great shows by the way
Everybody Loves Raymond, though
@@redacted2275 Came here to reply that everybody loves Raymond, but you beat me to it.
Jim takes it way too far with Dwight. It's essentially bullying most of the time. I'm glad it's not serious and we can enjoy the comedy of it.
Jim is a straight-up bully. Remember when he popped Dwight's exercise ball just because he thought it looked stupid? 80% of his "pranks" were undeserved.
And yet, Jim saved Dwight when he was about to be fired in Florida. Dwight legitimately tried to get Jim fired in the Scott’s Tots episode. Dwight took it too far.
@@Supermanfan99 You've forgotten who saved Jim from getting beat up by Roy. It was about time Jim did one good thing for Mr. Schrute after all those years.
@@abuiburemember when Dwight gave Stanley a heart attack and didn’t even care
Jim is such a realistic character, which is why I think people love him so much
Yeah, he's realistic in the fact that he's always acting like he's superior to everyone's antics by giving that look to the camera when he's just another idiot in the office.
I’m glad that some people are finally pointing out that Jim is an example of the following: no matter if one seems attractive or charismatic, he or she can be as sociopathic as he or she would be without looks and charm.
You're taking this all way too seriously.
sociopath is a too far imo lol
He is not a sociopath lol.
Seriously, it's just a show, let it go, you dont have to be going through all comments to prove how horrible jimothy is
@@Hamzakarim00 yes its just a show. but the fact you felt the need to respond shows you care just as much as she did.
Also, I think the reason she said what she said, is because most people to go out of their way justify Jim and paint him as a saint even though objectively that is just not true.
Jim and Dwight are the best duo in history I love them😅
Charles Minor is the first person to see through Jim’s BS….. extremely satisfying!
He has very good vision. He could even see Jane Foster all the way from Asguard. 😉
When Dwight would counter the pranks were my favorite!
Tbh, sometimes I thought Jim was too much of a bully/jerk while trying to keep a cool guy/aloof persona.
Later seasons Jim actually caring about his own feelings instead of trying to be cool grew on me, specially when he demonstrated his affection and friendship with Dwight/Michael/Andy.
I always hated how Jim didn’t want to call Andy drew
Yeah that was actually really rude. He didn’t even do anything wrong for them to treat him like he was a joke.
JIm kind of deserves half of what's coming to him. At least half
I just wanted to remind everyone that Ryan started the fire

You left out when he tried to combine the birthdays and also when he was deciding who was getting the raises using beans.
He was sometimes good and sometimes a jerk, but will never forget that he didn't want to cheat on pam with Cathy
Not cheating is the bare minimum…
You have a low bar.
He already emotionally cheated on her when he lied about whether he found Cathy “objectively attractive“.
@Nicole Czarnecki Disagree. Finding someone attractive doesn't automatically equal attracted to. And I 100% think that Jim did the right thing in that situation.
@@SakariWolf13 , apply that situation to yourself. If you had a husband and he lied to you about whether he found a woman “objectively attractive“ when you were already feeling insecure because of your pregnancy, how would you feel if you found out that he does in fact find another woman “objectively attractive“ and lied to you about it?
Eh, the Michael the Magic wasn't really on Jim. That was on Michael for being his usual, deluded self thinking he could be Houdini.
"7 out of 10 attacks are from the rear"
that's what she said
Please make ‘Everybody hates’ with everybody in the office.
If Jim were not so hot and cute, the audience would probably hate him more.
👆 right here.
I'm honestly more attracted to Dwight, I think he's cute and got swag. Jim is so generic looking imo.
The man regularly bullies a co-worker who I easily categorised as neuro-divergent; he lies to his superiors and wife at the drop of a hat; and often enables their clearly sociopathic manager. I'll happily say I do not approve.
I’ve read multiple times that Dwight is autistic. That never occurred to me until I read it, and that would explain a lot of Dwight’s behavior - especially since he did not have good influences surrounding him in the beginning of his life, and autistic people unfortunately get preyed on by maliciously-influential people all of the time.
@@NicoleCzarnecki yeah I didn't want to say autistic for fear of getting chewed out for a false diagnosis. As for how autism is preyed upon, well there it is. Jim's a bully. I have felt that for years. Honestly it enrages me that nobody in my social circle agrees
@@GloriousSonOfYork umm, you shouldn't have said autistic because you'd likely be very wrong.
@@blue_scorpio_88 exactly, thank you. I didn't say use that word precisely because of this.
*Say/use* apologies
It seems many viewers all felt Jim was supposed to be a Mary Sue protagonist so viewers hated him even though it was obvious from the start he had mixed sides to him and wasn't the Main Character even if his character thought he was the MC.
Still to this day I'm 100% on dwights side when it comes to the snowball fight. Dwight even gave him an out by asking him to apologize. Jim had it coming.
Yeah, I would hate to work with someone like Jim. He's honestly a bully, always picking on someone with the excuse "they deserved it", mainly Dwight. Whether Dwight deserves it or not, it's really an excuse because he's bored and mean
what he did to Karen, unforgiveable
This video probably adds to the "Jim is the villain" theory Jimmy Fallon talked about when John Krasinski was on his show in 2022.
Jim indeed was a real piece of work . Jero
I hate him because he used to prank people (especially Dwight) to make Pam laugh & make her like him. This is more of personal hatred. When I was in school & college, I only focused on studies, I was forbidden to have gf. Yes I was out of line few times but I have apologised after realising that. Also I only hung out with very few friends. But still, there were men/boys who would make fun of me just to get their group laugh or to get their crush laugh. It used to be so unnecessary. That's why I hate Jim also I hate Pam to enable such behaviour by laughing.
Maturing is realizing Jim was actually kinda a jerk not a chad
Pam made him a better person. 1000%.
agreed. she turned him from a bachelor douchebag into a family man who cares about people other than himself
It’s funny how Jim always wants to be the clown but when stuff happens to him it’s not funny. The way he treats all women he dates and uses them to make Pam jealous is BS as well.
Jack Ryan's first career as a paper salesman.
Ryan started the fire.
Jim had the nerve to hit dwight in the face, but when it comes to Roy, Jim cringed like a coward, the guy was flirting with an engaged woman for years and when he was about to get beat up for it, the guy who he always despised was the one who defended him. What irony isn't it Jim?
Jim never despised dwight , he loved and cared about dwight more than anyone in their office , this is what makes their relationship like brothers , picking on each other but always caring for each other.
This is one of my favorite vids. I laughed out loud. Great stuff.
They should’ve included the one where Dwight destroys Jim repeatedly.
letting micheal fall in is fine of course he didnt want to fall too
A boat might be the worst place to break up with someone.
Do everyone hates Toby and all it'll be is scenes of Micheal hating Toby.
And Toby Iusting over Pam.
Imagine if harry potter dad James Potter and Snape had a relationship like Jim and Dwight
That is what I want to believe
I never liked that Jim guy.
I’m really hating this Jim guy! - Creed
Then why would Creed want to set Jim up with his daughter? 🤔

As much as I hate Charles Miner, Jim totally deserved that humbling😂
I'm not excusing it, but we all know someone that is painfully abrasive like Dwight. Sometimes we punish them a bit by screwing with them. Not the best use of time. I can just relate
I come from a family that teases hard and does practical jokes. A lot of people don’t like us either. 🤷🏼♀️ I love Jim. ❤❤❤

In my 20s I thought Jim was charming. In my 30s I realize that Jim lacks empathy and is a villain to others (but still a great character)
James Trickington was a great prank! And I think it turned out great.
I hated Jim for dumping Katie, especially bc at the time I thought Amy Addams would be on the show for a lot longer than what she ended up
He’s a ‘nice guy’ lol
Most of the time I guess
Jim should’ve just said that case he was on the jury of was confidential
