Its the same for me, I spend way too much time on my washday and the thought of washing it every week feels a bit overwhelming lol (I wash every 2 weeks) there has to be a "quicker" easier way for washday without damaging or mistreating her too much❤
Great suggestions. I have always enjoyed your videos and this one is no exception. However, a word of caution to all my natural sisters regarding the wash and go. Underneath all that beautiful hair is a box that contains very delicate structures like our brain and blood vessels that can tear and bleed. If we all shake our heads like that some of us are going to end up on the operating table with a brain bleed and having a scar where hair should be growing from. I think there must be another way to achieve that look while still taking care of our brains. Much love.

Yes! I deal with them whether I do stretched styles or wash and gos. Tbh I stopped paying attention to them after my second year being natural. 🤷🏾♀️ They’re inevitable, so I don’t sweat it.
I went back to my mom back in the day using that on our hair. And I have 4c hair but 2020 my hair turn my daughters think I have 3c now it’s weird. But it works. And you can braid your hair at nite and the curl pattern is pretty. Oh yeah wash your hair first so it can be wet!
You just may need a trim. That’s what I do when my ends feel rough no matter what. Look at them closely. There may be damage OR they are higher porosity and you need to seal your ends with something heavier like a butter.
Trimming is good and sealing with flax seed gel..a little goes along way though. Also I think it's the Mane choice line has a product just for our ends. Its kinda. Pricey but keeps your ends lubricated. It's a real small bottle and sometimes hard to find.
Both are inevitable. Stretched styles can help minimize them. As for the single strand knots, try not to obsess over them unless they become unbearable and you know you need a trim.
Your hair might be rubbing against your clothing causing it to break. I’ve seen success with protective styling. Maybe give that a try for a long period of time ?
I can't do a wash and go every week( spray bottle and using oil) and protective style. I've been loving argan, joboja, sweet almond and black castor oil. I wear protective style and leave it alone. Before I put in braids I was so shocked at how healthy my hair was. I hadn't washed it in a month(oil and water in twists)
On your thumbnail it says 1 year of growth. However, in your video, showing the same two pics from your thumbnail, it is 2 years and 2 months of growth. And after watching the whole video, I see that you retained no more length than the average person. So what is the point of this video truly? Are you really trying to help people and educate people or misleading people into believing that you know something about growing long hair “fast” that all these other women on RUclips with a lot longer hair than you don’t know. Also, why are you (and many others on RUclips) making the natural hair journey all about length. Being natural or going natural is about being chemical free. Not everyone wants to grow or wear their hair long. Furthermore, having healthy hair is way more important than having long hair.
Yeah, I had a typo. That what people are commenting on. My timeline is October 2019 to December 2020 (we’re not in December 2021 yet). I think that’s the photo you’re talking about. My hair grows at a normal rate and I’m able to retain a good amount of it. No gimmicks...Also, health is literally the first point I made. Not just hair health, body health. My goal has always been health and now that I have healthy hair, my goal is length. Nothing wrong with that. Anyway, thanks for dropping by.

I use CareFree Curl activator and it grew my hair like wild weeds! Highly recommend it.
Oooo I’ve heard products like that work well. I’ll have to look into it. Thanks!
I went back to my mom back in the day using that on our hair. And I have 4c hair but 2020 my hair turn my daughters think I have 3c now it’s weird. But it works. And you can braid your hair at nite and the curl pattern is pretty. Oh yeah wash your hair first so it can be wet!
Almost to nipple legnth!!
💃🏾💃🏾🤸🏾♀️ Let’s Go 2021!
How long did it take and where was it before? My growth is going at a snail's pace it seems.
What should I do to grow my hair
I have a regimen playlist. It has everything I’ve done through the years. It’s a great place to start.
I found my ends are so dry. I do moisturize it but it still feel so dry. I don't use heat yet. What can a girl do?
You just may need a trim. That’s what I do when my ends feel rough no matter what. Look at them closely. There may be damage OR they are higher porosity and you need to seal your ends with something heavier like a butter.
Trimming is good and sealing with flax seed gel..a little goes along way though. Also I think it's the Mane choice line has a product just for our ends. Its kinda. Pricey but keeps your ends lubricated. It's a real small bottle and sometimes hard to find.
Do you ever get single strand knots and spilt ends on your hair?
Yes. Yes, I do.
What do you do to prevent them? Do you feel like it’s impossible to get rid of
Both are inevitable. Stretched styles can help minimize them. As for the single strand knots, try not to obsess over them unless they become unbearable and you know you need a trim.
You and hubby are so cute
do you use Cantu
I’ve tried a deep conditioner once and I didn’t enjoy it. That’s not to say they won’t have other products I may like. I just haven’t tried anymore.
I'm struggling to get past collarbone length🤕 been the same length fir a year
Your hair might be rubbing against your clothing causing it to break.
Lovely and beautiful hair.. just very distracted by the beautiful lipstick...
LMAO! armpit length

Thank you.
Your videos are too long, you talk entirely too much! Perhaps if you give the information in 5 minutes or less, you would increase your views and subscribers. 🙄 I'm exhausted I can't finish this!
Hey, I’m not for everyone - but I’m okay with that. 🥰
Almost 100k is damn pretty good. Subscribed! 😉🤭🤸🏾♀️❤👍🏽
