Completely unrelated but, found your channel through the Crew video yesterday, rather enjoyed it, subscribed, clicked off, job done.
Today, came back and watched a couple more videos, and just saw the one about, Forza Horizons downgrade in music. And just, wow man.
The fact you can go from, "Check this guy eat a palm tree and get launched into the stratosphere" to, like, serious, informative, content, and it doesn't feel off is amazing man.
You're really well articulated, and really hit the nail on the head with the forza music video. Watching your videos, your fondness for the games really shows and it's shown in the content. Just makes it, really enjoyable to watch.
I hope you do more vidoes along the lines of that! But, I'm Bias. I always struggle to watch people play Forza, or things like that. Why would I wanna watch cars drive round a track when i can do it myself?
I'm just, built diff, and cannot stay engaged but man, I'm hooked. You just make it fun to watch, with your gameplay, different type of videos, funny commentary, and just, alot of different things that make watching enjoyable.
Anyway man, just, loving your content, keep it up. Genuinely thought you'd be sat at a couple 100k subscribers and lost faith in humanity when I saw only 13k.

I know that the dirty racing puts a lot of the try hard racers off but for me, it’s kind of just part of the fun. I mean I never intentionally do it but I suck at racing so I still do it quite a bit by accident and all the other slower noobs around me do the same thing. It’s what makes it fun, actually fighting for position

Dude keep up the awesome videos. Probably one of the only racing youtubers that keep the content interesting enough for me to come back again and again. Also im kinda sad that motorsport doesnt have the Lotus Elise or the Exige in the base game. Really love those cars and hope they come later as dlc atleast.

From the penalty system on FM7 Beta it was 10 seconds and then it would boot you from the lobby
Yeah I've got some folks saying it's 12 seconds now. I think they might need to dip that back down to 10 🤣
I'd love to see someone with your race skills using the 2007 GT500 but after FM7 it was pretty much forgotten :(
The penalty system is worse than GT7 lol I get like 2-3 second penalties for being rammed off the road but the guy doing the ramming won’t even get a warning… but if I miss my braking point by even an inch and tap someone Im the one that gets the penalty…. The amount of times I’ve been pushed wide off road and the game still decides to give me an off track penalty is ridiculous and needs to be fixed.
It could definitely use some work haha
my lap times in quali are less then a second off the best players in the lobby, but i always finish 1 or 2 places down from where i started, FM is tough, but i am enjoying it alot
Yeah it can get tough out there. Especially with it being early access and all the more "hardcore" folks playing. We'll see what happens when the game fully releases

My first race was so amazing, hakone club course i qualified 2nd and ran bumper to bumper with 1st the wole race until our soft tires fell off, then 3rd came back and we all finished within a tenth across the line 3 wide

I had my first multiplayer race in this game yesterday, and it was the best racing I've experienced in an online racer. Even better than iRacing and GT7. It was close and mostly clean.
On controller or wheel?
@@gkcin242 I was on a TMX wheel, been using it since 2020. I'm actually faster on a wheel than I am on controller for the first time in a Forza game.
@@BenKuyt64 thats awesome, im gonna try it out on my tx tomorrow when its out on gamepass, i always felt like i was at a disadvantage using wheel on fm7 so ill be glad if i can finally compete with a wheel
@@gkcin242 I finished P2 in my first race, qualified P3. Was very good. You will have to tweak your settings a bit but Hoki Hoshi and others have videos

Dont even mention forza Motorsport online to me ive had 14 online races but only 3 good ones because people go for moves that are never ever on or turn into you when you try overtake and i know these things aint my fault because im so damn cautious and my safety rating is and has been S the entire time

Pretty much had the same experience. I don’t get the point of having ratings if they still drop you in lobbies with these people. I started at S got dropped to a B thanks to people pushing me off track and spinning me out. I got it back up to S almost max driver rating 4880 and still get one or two morons who think “defending” means taking out anyone who try’s to pass them it’s definitely infuriating but I’m not surprised it is forza after all….

I had a guy get kicked out of my race for ramming in the qualifying. Like we watched his car just ghost. Then drop all the way down to the bottom of the list below someone who had left the lobby of their own accord earlier. I didn't see what his penalty was though
1:21 The penalties do be kinda weird sometimes like in T1 at hakone in a feature race with the KTM GT2 cars, I would get one for making a contact like this even tho the guy to my right was going slightly wide and touching my wheel and side not even that hard…
How many crashes during multiplayer lobbies, did you have to go through to get this footage?
The commentary is on point. Wish VIP wasn’t free wins with the GTI… like seeing you use a variety of cars, keeps it fun. I don’t understand the Touring Hopper. Some cars are 704 and some are 720?
Yeah the homologation in the Touring hopper could use a little tweaking. Especially the OPI lol

There are currently no rammer time penalties. Ppl get warnings and I guess if it's too many you get booted from the race.

They need to update the penalty system to automatically give a 5 second penalty at the start of the race to anyone using an anime livery.
It feel like is more of a connection problem, just like in every forza game

The penalty system could definitely use some tweaking and refinement but it's a step in the right direction for multiplayer racing.
The races are way too short to really implement the probation and DQ penalties, though. All in all, the multiplayer is pretty fun.
Edit: probation happens at 6 seconds, don't know what it does. DQ happens at 12 seconds.

Hey there! I've got the assists off. What helped me early on and still now is Rivals mode. Spending time on each track, setting faster laps, memorizing breaking points. It can be boring but seriously every lap you do in Rivals will be a better lap out in multiplayer. And as you go along, play around with the assists and find what works best for you! Happy racing 👍

This proves that currently forza doesn’t use the skill rating for match making. Like old tires is a good driver and all he wants to do is to go fast. But these guys are stopping him from using his full power.
Fast and me don't really go together 🤣 but I hear you. In this pre-release state I think the system is probably prioritizing getting full lobbies over ratings.

My 5th online race was at the Nürburgring and some kid in a civic pit me and shoved me into the dirt to take 16th place and he got no penalty. Coming up the back end of the race I caught up to him and I pit him and they gave me an 11 second penalty and disqualified me from the race.

I got pitted lap one and took a 3 second penalty that wasn't my fault, demoted from S safety and 4000 skill down to 3000 skill and a safety rating. oof

Hey there! It depends on the car. With these touring cars it felt like I was reaching max power past the redline so I was shifting just before it was bouncing back.
