I think the two paths question is driving deeper. Yes it's your willingness and desire to innovate. And your management of risk (which is kind of tacked on at the end and should probably be more central to the decision, risks and opportunities). But also the decision making process: gathering data, seeking experts, aligning with customer and company strategic goals, and ensuring the right stakeholders are involved to agree upon the way ahead. With this type of response you can give them a better idea of the person they are getting who is thoughtful, communicates proactively, and thinks critically to generate wins and avoid losses.
