Last video shot in 2023 in Bucharest. A bit of Ricoh, a bit of Leica, a bit of Fuji :). I decided to lend my RICOH GR 3 to Cosmin so feel free to follow him to see his shots with this tiny brilliant camera. Oh and I got a very nice book. Thanks Cristina and Cosmin :)

I finally composed one of your shots in my head correctly before seeing the image. It was 15 at the end. I could see the importance of the jacket in the shot to create the story. And for that reason... it is my favourite shot from this video.

Pleasant post, Octavian. Favs are 3 (layers) and 10 (X light). Title and dialog left me wondering if the Ricoh was an outright gift or a loaner. Warm-hearted of you to help Cosmin. The book should inspire you, but be wary of outright imitation.
Am also hopeful for a new GR iteration - slightly larger, better buttons perhaps. What would you like to see in a new GR?

Thank you Paul ! It's a loaner for now, but if I get the new Ricoh GR probably I will ask Cosmin to keep it :) BETTER BUTTONS indeed. And better built quality, even heavier but more durable would be perfect. I don't mind making the camera slightly larger for a bigger battery and better built quality. 10K subs yeeey ! See you soon !
Do you use a GoPro8 for filming your POV videos, right? How do yo do it? Do you use a chest mount? In this case, do you hide the mount only letting the camera stick out of your jacket? Do you use an external mic or the GoPro mic? Thanks

Hi there ! Actually I don't use the GoPro8 anymore. I use a Insta Go 3, it has medallion (chest mount, magnetic) it is very stealth. I don't use an external mic. Hope it helps :)

I have the XE4 and it's a great camera, I would definitely keep that :) And you should wait a couple of months, maybe a new RICOH GR is coming this spring :)

Amazed that there is no snow. A vivid memory of mine is seeing the xmas lights and the streets piled with snow in Bucharest.
There was snow couple of days after my departure, it snowed a lot actually and it was/still is pretty cold for the moment. But it will get warm soon...
