- Information:
Location: Southington, OH
Testing: First Saturday of the month at 12:00 PM
Address: Southington Fire Department
Other enthusiasts present: Frankie (Northeast Ohio Sirens & Trains)
Recording equipment used: Canon Powershot SX540 HS
Other Notes: So it's been a fat minute since I went to Trumbull county so I decided to re record this siren since it's famous (literally) for having a weird ass windup. I met up with Frankie and we had a good time. Also tones have been lowered to not piss anyone off. Hope you guys enjoy!

That’s the craziest wind up I’ve ever heard on a Sentry, let alone any siren. Great video!
Thanks Connor! Also I've been trying to reach you on Facebook since I wanted to ask you something but It won't let me message you
that shot is utterly bussin
Bussin on school grounds
@@OhioOutdoorWarningSirens trespassed from school grounds
@@queencitysirens8755 bruh why do you have to be like that
@@OhioOutdoorWarningSirens Fuddy
That windup is so cool
Awesome! Looks like we both went to Sentries to get better recordings of them.
Yeah.
The wind up almost sounds like a decot
Awesome!! Do the diaphones test?
They aren't diaphones
@@OhioOutdoorWarningSirens they are cunningham horns
haha T A L L
Edit: I heard that the sirens in Hamilton are doing a growl test, so I wonder what the Excel T-128 is going to sound like growling. I wish they would do Growl and Attack again.
ok
Very good
Yes
Wait can i not play the video if it has tones in it?
What? No, didn't you read the description
What was next to that sentry. We’re those Cunningham horns?
Those are Lesile A200 Train horns
it's such a shame the siren is still broken. they should rlly get that high tone motor looked at
It's not broken I think the capacitors are making it sound like this
@@OhioOutdoorWarningSirens well it's obviously not supposed to sound like that
It’s not broken
@@CentralOHSirens then what other explanation do you have for the windup? it's obviously not supposed to do that
@@gian3248 Wouldn't matter if its broken or not, Half of Ohio could be engulfed in a tornado and they wont sound them off, the tornado that went threw a 14 mile destruction path threw Southington, OH and ended in Warren, these sirens never went off, This year had a few close calls, same thing, one went threw Boardman, yet no sirens. Sirens must of got sick from Covid.
L8 comment but what are those train bells used for, fire calls?
I don't even know
Bruh what is that wind up, kinda weird but cool I guess
Also what's up with those horns near the sentry?
Apparently those are old train horns
This sentry is dual motor and I guess one motor is doing better than the other motor
@@YourAverageMODude145 it's a capacitor issue
@@OhioOutdoorWarningSirens yes
Tones
what about them?
@@OhioOutdoorWarningSirens They are quiet tones
@@CentralOHSirens ok
@@OhioOutdoorWarningSirens Shup up
