  • Today I get my hands on the best plastic restorer on the market, I'm not sponsored by Cerakote but I do think they made a home run with this product. This puts mother's back to black to shame. I originally learned about this from the RUclips channel Project Farm where he tested many different products in this genre.
    Cerakote Ceramic Trim Coat
is the name of the product and is available on Amazon.
here's the link the the 1.5 year update video on my channel, thanks!!

maybe you had better luck than me, but I found on our faded fenders on the jeep. This ceramic coat did a decently, but there was still a lot of fade underneath it. You gotta go deeper I think to really get rid of the fade at least in my experience, especially on fenders. We found some really cheap painted fenders that we bought used off of someone and we’re actually glad to not deal with the fade anymore. :-) I think I would just buy new fenders if I went back to Black.

@@aacar4095 it's possible I'm sure, I know they say the Preparation is the most important part and I did apply multiple coats, still looks better than it did and it's 3 years later outside in the SC Heat and weather.

The end result is nice but try the trim coating from SEM. I did my JK bumpers with barely a light cleaning with brake cleaner before spraying. 2 years later it’s still black and doesn’t rub off. Faster and easier.

I haven't tried, although it's not the first time someone has thought about using it on rubber. Ceracote responded to this by saying they don't recommend applying it to rubber as it was not designed to be used on rubber. That could mean a few things, 1, it will dissolve the rubber into a jelly, 2. It won't do anything, or 3. It'll work great. Idk lol

I’m still waiting for my kit in the mail, but ExoForma Permashine is a tire coating that is supposed to last for up to a year at a time. Won’t sling residue like with traditional tire shine, and repels water and dirt so it won’t wash off. Has really good reviews but I’ll find out soon enough
