  • If you want to practice your Korean Listening skills, watch this video.
While learning a language, it is very important to practice your listening skills regularly. Otherwise, you will be like a "walking textbook" who can neither speak nor understand the speech you hear, even though you know all the grammar and words.
If you don't practice listening skills you will understand the language only on paper.
You will listen to the dialogue 4 times.
    1. Just audio without text
Try not to panic, focus and just listen and try to understand what is being said.
    2. Audio + text
Listen to audio and look at text in Korean.
Look at the text and check if you understood the speech correctly when you listened to it for the first time.
Also, if you are in doubt whether you have read or heard the audio correctly, you can check it in the Latin text on the right side.
(I am not using the standard romanization rules because instead of making it easier to learn and understand Korean, they are rather confusing.)
    3. Audio + text in Korean + text in English
Here you can check if you understood correctly what it is about.
    4. Audio without text
Listen to the text again, don't look anywhere, focus. The audio speed is slightly faster here.
You can check out the Listening playlist for more: • Korean: Listening Prac...
If you liked this video, tell me in the comments, and I will try to make more such videos.
Also, if there is something I can improve, I would be glad if you share your thoughts.
    Good luck! :)

      Hello~
For Grammar I don't use any particular textbooks. I just sit and think of every possible use case and make notes. Then I turn these notes into a presentstion.
But I would recommend you to use those textbooks published by Yonsei or / and Seoul National University. I think they are the best.

Hello, I wanted to ask a doubt.. tomorrow is my Korean language exam, and I am very scared about the writing part.. we have to write 150 word essay.. can you please give me some tips?

    • @KOREANFULLCOURSE

      Hello!
      Thanks for you question.
First, read the title and explanation they give very carefully. Because if you misunderstand the title, then the entire essay is gonna be wrong.
Then try to quickly organize your thoughts according to this structure: Introduction -> Body -> Conclusion. This structure is the same in all languages. For more details you can check out these tips. https: //bit. ly/3lH8tcd (remove spaces please)
Think about what do you want to say as introduction part, body and what is your conclusion.
You should think in your native language, because it is faster and more convenient.
Once you are done with organizing your thoughts, you just translate your thoughts into Korean and write them.
Think one step ahead, which means, before writting a sentence, you need to have a complete sentence in your head. You cannot write and think at the same time. You may have mistakes which you cannot erase.
Also, you need to know what they want from you, like what are assessment criteria.
I have found these tips. Check them out please https: //bit. ly/3dprtHB
      -----------------
There are two possible unexpected situations.
      1. You did not understand the title at all.
In this case... I don't know, maybe writting at least something, even not related, will give you a few points.
      2. You did understand the title, but you have no any opinion about it, even in your native language.
Like "Shall the humans go to Mars first or Jupiter?" lol
I have no idea what is better.
In this case, don't panic, just create any idea, even if it is absurd idea.
They don't care if your opinion is right or wrong. They just want to see your writting skils.
But even if you came up with an absurd idea, your essay still should follow this structure Introduction -> Body -> Conclusion.
You need to give logical reasons why you think this or that way to support your idea.
      ---------------
If you have time before the exam, just try to practice to write essays in your native language, just to get used to the structure, train your brain to organize thoughts fast.
Then try to ranslate them into Korean.
I am not sure if these advices are helpful.
If you have any other questions or doubts, feel free to ask :)
