  • Welcome to the TNP Bunker with TacticalDoodle in attendance. Lots of fun to be had with this episode of QTN and lots to look at. Here's just a few of the subjects discussed:
Best defensive carbine to have in NY State (or CA too), the bleak dating situation for young people, shotgun ammo cards, Winchester 1300 shotgun review, how skill is needed to run a pump shotgun, what defends the Nutnfancy home, Sig P228, how to handle a injury that takes away your mobility, Zodiac operations in Pacific ocean, TNP webstore, how you need to work things out in your own mind and then take it up with God in humble prayer, how military operations in A-Stan and Iraq have been a waste of human life and billions of dollars, should a 42 yr old medical professional join an Army Guard Unit and start deploying, how grandfather Nutnfancy named the T38 Talon aircraft, how deploying sucks and you question if you're wasting your life doing it, how TacticalDoodle strokes his shotgun, classic plop, XDM in 10mm, how you don't shoot your guns, how TNP is like a moving train, how I hate slow moving vans and poorly driven Priuses, where did the TNP music artists go, make the most of life, how we're God fearing Americans but not extremists, how sometimes you should accepts gifts graciously, how I drove some dudes TransAm (photo too!) in FL with my girlfriend, and more!

Man...so grateful to you guys and your perspectives. Also grateful to the guy from GA and his question about joining the guard. I'm 36 and I often feel guilty because certain things in my life arose and I ended up not serving. So now, any patriotic feelings I have make me feel like a hypocrite. But I love my country. I can't say enough about the people who provide the freedoms we live under. But you guys are right....in the end I can't make a difference over there. I can however raise my kids in accordance with my values(influenced by TNP) and maybe make the next generation of Americans not quite such sensitive douche canoes. Also, feels kindof weird to say this after my last comment, but thanks for being honest about your spiritual belief system. Not surprised at all given the high moral standing that your entire family lives by. I get it, it's not a religious channel, but it was refreshing that you didn't have any qualms about throwing it out there.

Hello Boattail. Thanks much for that great comment and its sincerity. Glad you received the message on military service and sometimes it may not be the best choice. Also thanks for supporting the spiritual side of TNP, it's always been there but we keep it on the low down. The country needs desperate healing and it will only come from God. -Lt Col Nutnfancy actual

If you are a productive, principled member of society, don't ever feel bad. The thing that truly makes this country great, even more so than the world beating military we have, is civilians who work hard at the office and at home, and that care about the founding principles that make America what it is. If we didn't have that, it wouldn't really matter how awesome and patriotic the military is (which I think it is FWIW).

I'm thinking it's the draw...guns are a great draw point, "backpacking and camping" doesn't have quite the "flare" as guns do. But if the vids we're sold as something more dramatic, I bet more people would click, and then once they got to see some if the places he goes and hard terrain, snow etc, they would be hooked. "Survival" is a trending topic ATM. Maybe sell it as a "wilderness survival" series. Or "what bugging out will actually be like" and show the uncomfortable stuff that exists when you're roughing it ...? What you guys think?

    • @carolinausedmachinery
      @carolinausedmachinery 5 лет назад

What makes you think he's a Christian? A ton of people believe in God and/or a creator and haven't been to the cross to get their sin dealt with and under the blood. I hope he has been born again and passed from death unto life. Jesus saith no man cometh unto the father but by me. I didn't hear Nutn say anything about Jesus Christ. I'm not putting him down at all. I do not know his heart and it's not my place anyway. Nutn and family have always been very likeable and really pretty awesome. I was just bringing to attention that everybody that claims God is not a Christian. Muslims are a great example. I'm not saying he's not a Christian. Like I said I don't know bc that's between him and God and I hope he is. Side note: as much as I love the US Constitution....the founder's God is not my God. They were high level Luciferians and Freemasons. Ever got into studying who they were and read their writings? Like Franklin, Washington, and how about Jefferson...he wrote his own "bible" of heresies. And what about Paine's life and him on his death bed...he rejected Christ right up until he met Him and had someone there as he died to be a witness that he did not convert. It's no wonder DC is full of Masonic, pagan, and occult symbolism. Albert Pike is another one to look into and his book Morals and Dogma and his letter to Mazzini that was intercepted. Lots of hidden things going on that the average Joe is clueless to. Be not deceived friends.

I am an active 2012-2016 Army vet. Once Reading American Sniper and finding out my wife was pregnant about 6 months later, I decided my family is more important than my country. Leaving the military for my family has never been a regret, but an amazing history of mine to pass on to my kids. (now a 2 year old boy and toddler baby girl) I still shoot my firearms at least once a month. My wife is a huge support of my families safety and our families accuracies of firing our firearms. I will never regret servicing my country, but I respect those who had to leave their children because they stayed in.

TD, I always felt the same way about getting gifts and free stuff. When my wife and I had our daughter, fan and friends gave us a shower. I was totally against it. I sulked about it for a while and finally a father figure in my life explained it to me in a way I could appreciate. He said, "son, the people in your life care about you, and want to help you. We all know you made it. We all know you could do it without our help. But helping and being a part of your life is what we want to do. Don't deprive us of the gift of being able to help someone we care about." I still don't like getting gifts or free stuff...but the older I get, the more I understand what he was talking about. I enjoy helping the people I care about as well.

I served in the Army as enlisted E-3 to E-7/SFC for 12 years and 8 years as a warrant officer. Plus an additional 11 year as a civilian. I've been retired almost as long as I served. I'm 62 now. If you never served, you shouldn't feel bad about it. If you were a good citizen, worked every day, paid your taxes, and prayed for our servicemen, then you did your job. You were a contributor. Bad citizens, those that never contributed should be the ones that feel remorse. For every good soldier, they need hundreds of good citizens backing them up and supporting them through their taxes. Our country needs good citizens just as much as we need good soldiers on the battlefield.

For the guy in NY, I would say build an AR. There are so many options for featureless builds. None of them are "permanent". Strike industries is one of the many manufacturers making well built parts for ARs to meet compliance. Especially for liberal states being able to adapt and having options is important to surviving these draconian laws. There are so many options right now and for every budget.

    • @TheHappyFriar

As a NY'er it's currently feared that the all dem govt will work on another ban for anything deemed scary. IE anything that's makes an AR stand apart from any non-AR rifle. That seems like a real possibility at this point.
I have a fixed mag AR and, personally, I'd like a fixed mag system that works like a SKS fixed mag system. AR fixed mag is a PITA when something goes wrong. Don't want featureless because if I want a featureless rifle I'll get something else designed that way. Or just use the SKS.
EDIT: btw, the kids love shooting the SKS. :) More then the AR!

Active Duty Army, almost 9 years in service. Don't feel guilty about not joining up. More often then not they're wasting your time and treating you like a child.
Once in awhile you have worthwhile moments but for the most part it's a young man's game to get them on their feet with good experience and training.

I wanted to get a 10mm in a 1911 frame, now that is going to be an XDM. I was going to buy my shooting buddies XMD in 45ACP, we went to shoot it (as he had never) now he will not sell it to me. (sad face) Ha. Anyway....

Man I was starting to feel like and ultranerd. I usually shoot 200-500 rds per month. Mostly training with my CCW but others when I can. I definitely have friends that collect guns just to look at them, and don't doubt for a second that's the majority. But there's no better stress relief than the gun range IMHO. I've started casting to save even more money. Anyhow, glad to know I'm not the only one who's actually does shoot regularly

Dude, your trans am story reminds me of whenever my buddies get a new motorcycle they always ask, do you want to take it for a ride? I always say hell yeah and jump on. I have never had them act nervous or hesitate hand me the keys. But that being said my only ride are by motorcycles. So I guess they're fairly confident in my riding ability. But on the other hand I always offer people to take my bike for a spin, and they almost never take me up on it. Love the content I just subbed to the B Channel

You've been luckier than I have then. I always end up with rashed plastic when I let someone take it for a spin. Even sitting on one has been disastrous before. Fairings ain't cheap! -doodle

I think the dating scene has gone to utter hell if you're trying to find marriage material. HOWEVER, I will say that 99.999% of us have serious flaws that the opposite gender doesn't like. ALWAYS take a honest and hard look at yourself and your flaws before you attribute dating difficulties to society at large

When it comes to mossberg or Remington shotgun side saddles i would go with the aridus industries detachable side saddle. It’s a little pricy but well worth getting a few, they basically attach to the gun like a magazine on the side.

Wow ~ My letter made it to a Questions to Nutnfancy video ~ How cool is that! And in my defense, I'm sure I don't go through as much ammo as you but I probably shoot more than the average bear... probably 400-500 rounds of 9mm and .223 in the last 3 months. I don't have a MAS defense upper ...Yet. However when I buy one I will definitely send it to you for review. I just registered on Patreon so I'll send you a message there. One final thought ~ If you purchase a Springfield XDM 10mm for review, keep your eyes open on the Springfield website for freebies. When I bought my XDS they had a giveaway with proof of purchase for extra gear. I got 5 extra magazines, a holster and mag carrier for free. (7 Mags total including what came with the gun)

Oh sweet. I forgot they had the gear avail as a rebate. There may be one of them in the newest review batch but. Was a little bummed they didn't have the holster included. Thanks for the tip! -doodle

Certified Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA's) serve on 90 day rotations when mobilized in the USAR or ARNG. It is the same for physicians. They would raraely be considered for a longer tour of duty, although it is possible. Not sure how that works in the Air Guard.

As for a good ban state self-defense rifle, I've taken to recommending the Ruger PC Carbine. It's well-made, accurate, portable, shoots cheap ammo, takes widely-available mags, works great with modern optics, and the takedown feature is really handy. I also do recommend the Mini-14, but the PCC can regularly be found $200-300 cheaper, so unless you really need to fire 5.56, I'd stay with the PCC. I think it's an option that a lot of people in ban states should consider.
