Not the best guitar player, but he's having more fun than most of us...
Indeed 😄
Great to see someone who stuck with what they liked and didn't worry about lessons or technical skill but just made the music they wanted to make as a result.
Coma Toes lol you think success in the art world is dictated by sales numbers.
Thats what most musicians do, we just dont all have Josh Homme as a best mate
when you think you're cool, there's this guy
Precisely how we walked away feeling.
What, because he was traumatized by an utterly awful event and responded to it with shit he didn't think through? See if you ended up in the same situation, who you'd blame.
this guy is a piece of shit
He is also a very humble guy, he teach me how to play Don't Speak in his Instagram live today. Such an awesome guy
The best 70s porn mustache in Rock & Roll
everything this man just said.... is exactly how i felt and think... wow.. im impressed
Its exciting to get turned on to a new player you haven't investigated yet! I like this guy! Reminds me of a half dozen of my "cool" friends.
Sometimes it's the very down to earth simple music that's great to listen to and play.
Jesse's shirt is awesome ;)
I have Jesses records but I'm not convinced about Ernie strings. He can't sell me on it. I'll keep using my cats whiskers
I love Jesse. He has such a fun style. Cruisin' music.
Let's take a minute to appreciate how cool his playing sounds while using a bic lighter as a slide lol
The Rooster of Rock
I'm right there with him. Pfunk was a huge draw to me as a kid. My roots were rock music from my parents and cousins a bit of ountry from my aunts and uncles and my grandpa adored bluegrass. But I got metal and hard rock from siblings and ousins. Metal from siblings and punk new wave and alternative from My friends. His band though I found from listening to qotsa. I,listened to kyuss before that. But pfunk is still one of my all time favorites and i love rockabilly too. Rev horton heat is one of my favorite bands but so is the old rockabilly bands and singers.
You sir are too damn awsome! Amazing guitarist ! Hey ernie ball, you guys should do a vid with Jeff Loomis
Jesse reppin' the Jurrasic 5 - fuck yeh boii
For all of the people hating on Lectric Boots... He has more musicianship in his toenail clippings than you do in your soul. "Its like being a werewolf your whole life and not seeing a full moon until your 30."
who in the world would hate this guy
Aguante eodm, ernie ball y maton
this is the most american guy ever
Coolest dude in rock.
He knows just enough to be cool as fuck
At 4:32, i am a very practical kind of dude......que shot of photo with pump action shotgun in background...yeah
He seems down to earth honest and cool
seems like a really nice guy!
Him and Josh homme grew up not far from where I did. Jut north of where my family is from. My family is from imperial county California down at el Centro and Brawley.
Love the P-Funk part
I haven't had a good man-crush in awhile, but I think one's starting. ... Huh. Today might be an alright day.
Smh
Boots is tha man
PLEASE DO JOHN HOMIE
J Pennington josh homme
J Pennington Josh doesn't use Ernie's, he uses Dunlop strings.

Check the Guitar moves's video
So the cool thing is i immediately thought wow this guy doesn’t sound too great. And honestly I never heard of them before. But I looked up their music and this stuff is super interesting and cool. Songs are great. So I shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover. Or to put it another way, when you think you’re listening to a guitar fall over and it’s strings rub against a table leg as it’s falling over you better take another listen.
Smiling...
so his mom made him learn the flute so he wouldn't be into rock n roll??
i guess she ain't never heard of Jethro Tull..
Prog rock pioneers at it‘s finest!
Firehose and the Minutemen!!!!!!!
fuck yes
La bamba was the first song I learned on guitar also hahaha
His last song sounds basically like deep elem blues
what is that last song he plays
Luke Luckett Midnight Creeper
OK whats his special gauge set and the tuning, give it up EB!
Sounded like open G.
Did my research, it's an open G, tuned like: G-G-D-G-B-D
I think he uses .010 - .046 according to Ernie Ball.
@@nickklok4955 He uses a special set to accomodate the low G extra tension, according to what he said in a gear review interview. So SPGM's question remains interesting ;)
@@jefft8018 awesome sir! Thank you!
he is not so skillu but has a soul
Lets see him use that stash to play
Jesse is a fan of George Clinton! WOW! I didn't expect that :D
Wonder what their tunings are?
eagles of death metal tune to open G as GGDGBD
They usually play at open g
He looks like he 67 years old
Who?
Jessie is one of those guys that had to be a rock star. Even if he's a bit poo
Jesse inspired by band VETNO
Ho Chi Minh you commie son of a bitch
You got it backwards lol. That is a pretty darn good band though, thanks for introducing me to it. Criminally underrated band. Smh.
"Check out my great string sounds"
_farty action-way-too-low blarping_
seem's pretentious to me
It was not until now that I realized how truly unimpressive his singing, guitar playing, style, and tone really are. Not arguing that his music definitely has an audience but this is pretty generic/unimpressive at best.
Wow, his tone is awful and he's completely out of tune. Respect the dude, but come on. Also, doesn't it look like he's on fire?
he was also using a lighter for a slide
Dudes a little full of himself, no?
Zachary Mainwaring Have you just heard of this guy? Not hating or anything but he can come off like that when you first hear him, but later you realize that he's the king shit of fuck mountain.
