Couldn’t agree more. Mets sign two major offensive players / Soto and Alonso / then a 3rd starter and trade for an ace. Makes perfect sense. I do want to see acuna at second. He earned the shot. Some kids are just major league players and I think he is one of those players. Crochet is a question mark for me. Hes a reliever turned starter after TJ. He only did it for half a season. We need guys to go deep into the playoffs. Look what happened with Sevy and Manaea at the end of the playoffs. Think we better off this them since them will be in full season shape this year. Especially if Mets sign Soto and Pete and are going for it all this year.
@@Standdividedfalltogether it’s hard with pitching. Feels like the Dodgers won with an excellent bullpen and barely starting pitching. Can the Mets replicate that? Be interesting to see. Crochet gives me warning signs. Don’t want to pay prospects for a long man. Soto and Alonso is the way to go!👍
Honestly, I think the Dodgers will swoop in and sign Soto. They earned an additional $100 million in revenues on Ohtani alone. Add World Series money on top of that. They can sign Soto and rebuild their pitching staff without touching their operating income for 2025. That's scary.
@ I just don’t like moving Vientos to first after he played a decent first base and then get Adames who barely played 3rd in his career. Not good for the defense in my eyes.

Would the Mets go after Cody bellinger if they don’t resign Alonso
@@bjax45 possible but I wonder if there is just better value in bringing in either Christian Walker or even a Carlos Santana type.
@@subwaytoshea Well they wont be getting Soto
I think more likely Adames and Vientos to first. But anything is possible this off season. Perfect world it’s Soto and Pete

I like adames at second
. Alot of depth may be moved in a trade for a starter
