- In this video the rear suspension gets disassembled. The components get powder coated, plated. New shocks, brake lines, and bushings get installed during the assembly. Before It goes back in a little rust work on the rear strut tower is needed!
Thanks for uploading. Cheers from Downunder.
Hi David: I'm in the middle of my '02 restoration and doing many of the same things you did. I really appreciate you documenting all this and sharing. It makes a difference in my project!
That’s good to hear!
Again, major thumbs up!!
Thank you!!
This was so therapeutic to watch. Excellent vast improvements. Like new again. U.K. supports you. More please more often. Waited ages. Your channel is amazing. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Great video with nice tricks. Love to see old parts in a new life. Get well for your finger.
Well done brother!! the blue sway bar sure pops next to that fresh black powder coat
Thanks man!
This "old lady" really starts to look like a brand new car thanks to your hard work. I love it.😍
The rims might need a little something to match the rear frame condition.
This was exactly what I needed to see! I have a '71 with the same rust issues in the rear strut mount/wheel well, this was very helpful to wrap my head around the process for repairing it. Thanks!
So glad to see you keeping this iconic car on the road! Nice work
Thank you!
David, the one thing that scares me with plating all those bolts - how on earth did you remember where they all went when you got them back?
Beautiful work
0:50 that's honestly pretty much mint
6:06 really nice welding! Also I'm impressed the arms didn't warp
Great videos! Keep them coming….
Looking forward to doing the same on my '02 :-D
Great work, cheers
Nice work. The metal inside the trunk of my 1974 looks like your “before” picture. Paint with some lines if rust cracks. I’m afraid to know what’s underneath. I’m sure it’s been fixed once before; a 45 year old car isn’t rust-free.
We’re all those nuts and bolt the originals just cleaned up and coated? Wow.
Hi David, What P/N rear Bilstien's did you use?
