Here is the irony of Steven Anderson's philosophy regarding salvation. He will reject obedience according to the Law because that would be a works based salvation, but hypocritically will base salvation on a translation instead of the finished work of redemption of the Messiah through His death.

Thankyou simple and clear, I'm a KJV reader but this was not always the case. Being convicted by others at the time I made the decision to change. And it's true many of my own family members have became so attracted to their KJV it has become almost a religious artifact to them. So when I began to study Hebrew so that I one day be able to read the original Hebrew text, I was heavily criticized. It was even expressed that the KJV was better than the Hebrew. That was some time ago, I chuckle at the thought of it now. And still read the KJV but I balance it with other versions such as the ESV

In the part of the video where the speaker points on the claim that there is no improvement to be made on the KJV, most people do not have the 1611 AV, but the one from the 1700s. So by default, any KJV Onlyist using the 1700s version is violating their own idolatrous theism.

The 1611 “KJV” had 80 books. Now it has 66. The name of the messiah was spelled Iesus. (First letter capitalized i). Now it is spelled Jesus. There actually have been thousands of grammatical and spelling change between the 1611 version and today’s KJV. So which one is perfect. Because they both can not be.
1611 and today’s version have removed the name of Our Father at least 6,816 times and replaced it with a generic positional title held by hundreds of deity and humans and borrowed from paganism. “The LORD”. This IS NOT his name. And the great miracle gift of the word “Hallelujah” which means the same thing in every language, and which carries David’s endearing expression of Our Father’s true name, has also been completely removed from the KJV. It’s sad really. Makes me cry because of the tremendous influence this Bible has had on the English language and taught us all to forget our Father’s actual name and to refer to our Father with replacement names taken from paganism such as God and Lord.

    • @pegtop5455
      @pegtop5455 3 года назад +9

“God” and “Lord” are not names. They are positional titles. I am now a truck driver. Imagine if a book was written about me saying wonderful complimentary things about me; So I want people to know who I am. And the book was written with my name “David” mentioned thousands of times throughout the book. But then the book went to the editor and almost every time my name appeared they REMOVED it and REPLACED it with “The TRUCK DRIVER”. So you might study the book your entire life and never know what my name is. “The LORD” is the same thing. It’s a position that has belonged to hundreds. And is a replacement for the NAME that only belongs to One: “YHWH.” Blessed be The Name of YHWH.

Thank you for the good explanation. I like KJV in general, but the most critical problem with it is the interpretation of Matthew 7:23: "I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity." However, in Greek it is not iniquity, but lawlessness, which means they didn't follow God's law. Jesus is actually saying here that there is no final salvation if we don't keep the law! And it changed Passover to Easter! 1 John 5:7 about the Trinity was added, too, in the 6th century manuscripts. I think the NT is heavily subjected to revision in favor of RCC's doctrinal philosophy. That's why we need to have the Berean attitude (Acts 17:11) -- what is called "The Scriptures" at the time of Jesus must be the standard. If the words are different over the same topic, we should follow the OT, not the NT, especially on such topics as food, divorce, circumcision, and Sabbath.

7 Important Doctrines About the Bible
The Bible is the most important book in history, and is what defines our faith. Without it we would not know who God is, his will for us, salvation, or the Lord Jesus Christ.
The way to destroy Christianity would be to destroy the Bible. This present evil world knows this and has been attacking the Bible for centuries. No Bible = no Christianity.
As a result of relentless attacks without reply, generations have a view of the Bible that it is an anachronistic book written by men that no one can understand, filled with mistakes, and is unneeded for true spirituality. What lies!
If Christianity is on the wane it is due to a failure to fortify these important doctrines about the Bible. If removing the Bible makes Christianity crumble, returning respect to the Holy Book of Books will strengthen it.
Here are seven important doctrines about the Bible that will strengthen your faith in God’s word and make you a Bible believer.
      1. Revelation - God spoke words.
Revelation is the doctrine that God has spoken. The Bible is God’s revelation. This is important because God is true, holy, good, and without error. Therefore, what he says is true, holy, good, and without error. This is where we get the “holy” in Holy Bible. The Bible is sacred because of its author. The Bible was revealed by God.
“For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.” - Galatians 1:12
      2. Inspiration - God’s words in writing.
Who doesn’t know the Bible was written by men. The doctrine of inspiration describes how God’s words were put in writing using the instrumentation of humanity. The Bible was not delivered from heaven like the golden plates of Mormonism, or by oral tradition like the Talmud or Koran. Divine inspiration teaches that God wrote the Bible with human pens to write specific words (2 Peter 1:20-21).
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God…” - 2 Timothy 3:16
      3. Illumination - God’s words understood.
The Bible can be understood, because of the doctrine of illumination. God did not write a book so that no one could read and understand it. His purpose was for all to know and each to study for themselves (1 Tim 2:4; 2 Tim 2:15). The Bible is not a book God kept in secret, but helps us to understand. How can we understand? First, faith is required (Rom 10:17). Then, you must be spiritually quickened (1 Cor 2:12-13). Thirdly, you must acknowledge Paul’s instruction (2 Tim 2:7).
“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” - 1 Corinthians 2:14
“Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.” - 2 Timothy 2:7
      4. Utilization - God’s words must be used.
It is necessary to have and understand the Bible, because God requires it be utilized. We are told to preach it, teach it, study it, rightly divide it, eat it, believe it, live by it, stand with it, fight with it, and obey it. This doctrine alone should cause us to cherish God’s holy book: we need it! Faith comes by no other way.
“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning,…” - Romans 15:4
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” - Romans 10:17
      5. Canonization - God’s words complete & sufficient.
This oft neglected doctrine describes how the Bible came to be complete and defined. A corollary to this is the idea that the Bible is all that we need: it is sufficient. There is nothing lacking from it to make us perfect (complete) workmen for the Lord. There is nothing else we need from oral tradition, experience, gut feelings, a Pope, magisterium, deacon board, anointed pastor, or the wisdom of the world. God said many things that are not in the Bible, but the Bible is what God wants us to know, and it is finished, complete, and sufficient in sixty-six books.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable… that the man of God may be perfect,…” - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
“Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;” - Colossians 1:25
      6. Preservation - God’s words through history.
Without preservation none of the other doctrines matter. God could have revealed, inspired, and completed a Bible to be used and understood, but without the doctrine of preservation it is all for naught, and the Holy Bible was lost thousands of years ago to history. If God wants us to understand and use his words that he inspired, then they must be preserved through history. There are no more original autographs. Preservation is needed for God’s words to endure forever (1 Pet 1:25).
“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” - Matthew 24:35
“Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” - Psalm 12:7
      7. Identification - God’s words in your hands and heart.
In a world, culture, or church that does not understand and believe the previous six important doctrines this final doctrine is the most offensive. It is also the most important for the word of God to have an effect in your life.
This doctrine describes how you know you hold God’s words in your hand and are reading them with your eyes. If God inspired and preserved his word we should be able to identify it today.
There are so many different books claiming to be the Bible. It was the need to clearly identify the Holy Bible which drove men to reduce the differences and number of Bible translations down to one. After all, God only inspired one, and we only need one, and the church is one, and so which one is it?
When it is said that God’s perfectly preserved words in English are found in the King James Bible this is a statement reflecting the doctrine of identification.
“…when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.” - 1 Thessalonians 2:13
The Effect on Those That Believe
The Thessalonians had to identify by faith the words of God before they had an effect. Perhaps the reason Christians are not being effected by the word of God is that they are not clearly identified amidst hundreds of different translations.
Perhaps you cannot yet identify which Bible is God’s words. Perhaps you have been persuaded that they are all the same, or that God does not preserve his words, or that the Bible is too hard to understand or is not completely sufficient or necessary for us to have.
Denying any one of these important doctrines about the Bible brings confusion and doubt upon the Bible. Without the Bible, Christianity becomes ineffective, or worse.
“For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar.” - Romans 3:3-4
Christians are people of a book. Strengthen your understanding of these important doctrines about the Bible and your faith will grow, and God’s words will work effectually in you.

Yeshua didn't come to establish Christianity, the Bible or any other religious protocol. I'm sure if the disciples had stuck to doing what He instructed we would all be living and believing not just in Yeshua but in the faith of Yeshua. If the Bible was everything Holy And good there wouldn't be over 200 denominations birthed from it. I love the Bible but it was inspired by God not written by Him and then translated over thousands of years. Only by and through the Holy Spirit can it be used as a way to Know God. Apart from God the Bible and its religions have caused more death, war and bloodshed then any natural disaster ever. Thanks for your doctrines but more than anything we need a demonstration of Spirit and power. Talk is cheap these days!

The KJV didn’t even exist until recently. So what were the disciples reading? The New Testament? Which also had not be written. No! They were reading the scrolls (the Old Testament). We have the scrolls today thanks to Qumran. But the KJV is perfect and infallible right!? No. The Word of Yah (Yahusha) is infallible and He is the Word! Read and search the scriptures (the scrolls) written in Hebrew and Greek originally and you will find the truth. Bible Hub and E-Sword let you easily do this! Don’t be afraid to look at the Hebrew and the Greek original texts! You will be surprised to find out that Yahusha and His disciples and the early church never practiced or worshipped Ishtar (Easter) with painted eggs and the Easter (Ishtar) fertility bunny. But word that King James replaced with Easter (Ishtar) was Passover!m in Greek!!! A Feast that the disciples and Yahusha did keep! And that Yahusha died during (as the final lamb to be sacrificed for our sins!!!) They did keep Passover!!! Not Easter!!! The Bible says not even to utter the name of false elohim (gods) much less worship Him the way the pagans worshipped their gods!
We are commanded eternally to keep the Feasts of Yah! (Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Sukkot, etc). Keep watching 119 videos and test everything! Stop listening to your Sunday preacher. And start reading the Word of Yah for yourself. Even if you only have the KJV version. Yah can still use that to open your eyes to the truth!!! It’s all there! His commandments were never done away with. In fact, He says if you love me you will keep my commandments! Read Exodus 20 again! Which of those 10 commandments do you keep!? Look a bit closer at the fourth while you are at it! Shalom!

NIV identifies Morning Star in 22:16 (the Messaiah) with Lucifer in Isaiah 14:12. That is evil.
I appreciate KJV's litereal translation of "and between thy seed and her seed" (KJV 3:15), because it implies more than offspring or descendants. I grew up hearing the analogy that a man provides seeds and a woman's body is like a field where seeds can grow. So when I read KJV Gen 3:15, I understood as the prophecy of the virgin birth, because women don't have the seeds. That's why I appreciate literal translation because hidden meanings can be completely lost in interpreted and paraphrased versions.

Lucifer is a Latin word that the KJV translators borrowed from the Catholic Latin Vulgate. It is a word for the planet Venus, nothing to do with Satan. It's literal meaning is "morning star". It is a prophecy against the king of Babylon, who tried to exalt himself above the throne of God. Like the KJV only cult exalt their imperfect uninspired translation above the throne of God. The angels are known as the morning stars even in the KJV. Jesus is the Morning Star, not morning star. No honest person reading the Isaiah 14 in context, would ever say the NIV is saying that Jesus is the same as Satan. Not that their is anything honest about the KJV only cult. The KJV also had day star in the margin, but no Latin word should be in an English translation. The KJV translators failed terribly, just as they did with mistranslations like Easter instead of Passover. Again showing the Catholic influence on the KJV.

What Jason said and there are no original manuscripts, they are too old, and we cannot be certain what language each of them was written in.. because we don't have them, all we have is copies and translations to work from, the only thing we can fully trust is not a thing... it is YHVH, but we can use what we got to piece together and learn about his Words, his covenants and commandments and righteous Judgements, and the History that is brought to us from the many scripts that we have found. what did Moses write in , The Bible says he wrote down everything YHVH said, Moses knew and spoke many languages, Maybe all 70 of the languages dispersed at babel... at one time he was being educated and groomed to be Pharaoh, which was (at the least) one of the most powerful positions in the world. and trading with folks from everywhere.. But he was preserving the words for this people, the Hebrew Children and those that came with them from Egypt, so he would have recorded YHVH's words in their language for them. Many of the Carvings left in the wilderness during that time were Paleo Hebrew, perhaps that was the alphabet they used was that, or maybe they had a more cultured hebrew language for writing literature, maybe they carried with them documents written, rewritten by their fathers, Jacob, Abraham, Shem, Noah, no doubt they still told the stories to each other and their children. I think it is presumptuous to think we have it all figured out, we have Theories and Opinions perhaps educated ones but theories none the less

@@huasonshine4120 I essentially agree with you, but I am certain that when we have the choice to ignore a law or command OR to follow it to the best of our individual abilities ( which I know will vary), the ‘righteous’ choice is to follow each one as best we can. I am a work in progress. There is no recipe for everything we should do on the feast days nor are our jobs necessarily amenable to days off for them ( military, health care….) so I make sure to read the relevant scripture for each feast day. Frankly, I had no idea about First Fruits or Shavuot or even how the original Passover was ‘celebrated’ till I decided to learn for myself.
I tried to find an excellent RUclips explanation of how transcriptions and translations of scripture are studied for accuracy and how scholars conclude which are the most accurate. It was made by ‘Christians’ who probably still observe the Sun Day, but they explained things very well and truthfully. I wanted to include the link but found a plethora of such videos and could not recognize which one I watched a year ago. Consensus keeps evolving because it is a science. I love 119 Ministries, Yahweh’s Restoration Ministries, and House of New Beginnings ( AZ). I prefer any translation based on the Textus Receptus, the KJV being one of them. Keeping closer to the original meaning and text of the manuscripts. Trivial errors are in fact trivial. Discerning the meaning of what is said from the text is no difficult. In contrast to translations such as the NIV do not only use inaccurate word or leave words out, entire verses are omitted.
A good example would be 1 John 5:7 and the Record in Heaven. These omissions deny the very doctrine of the trinity. Now that, is not trivial and it is only one example.

The NIV leaves nothing out. It was translated from older more accurate manuscripts. 1 John 5 v 7 was added by an uninspired scribes years after John wrote his letter. So the KJV translated from inferior manuscripts dedicated to the Pope has this uninspired added verse. The doctrine of the Trinity is very clear in the NIV it does not call the Holy Spirit an "it" denying his deity four times like the KJV. It is far stronger on the deity of Christ than the KJV.

I hear several generalizations based mostly on the pastor's very extreme opinion. Followers of Christ know they can completely disregard those who put themselves in the judgement seat of Yeshua.
You should make another video about 'KJV Onlyism' based on manuscript quality. You touched on this for a moment but then put your trust in biblical scholars by concluding the so-called "older" manuscripts are better. Like you say in every video: "test everything"... even the "older" manuscripts and the "biblical scholars".

I personally like the King James Version of the Bible because of the way it is written and it is Old English. I use it as my main source because I believe there are errors in modern translations of the Bible. I however do not consider myself to be a “KJV Onlyist” because there are some errors in the KJV translation, and I have no problem with someone using another translation like the ESV or the NIV.
I also believe there are errors in every translation of the Bible, if possible, errors we may not even consider an error. But verses like Acts 20:7 KJV and Hebrews 4:9 KJV were not translated correctly by the Protestant translators during the middle ages. They have omitted “the sabbath” from these verses and insisted that the first day of the week is the day of worship and rest. Another major error is the word “Easter” found in Acts 12:4. According to the context, it is blatant that the Greek and Latin word “Pascha” should have been translated into the word “Passover” which fits the rest of the chapter. These are a few errors found in the KJV, which some modern translations correct like the NIV and the ESV.
Also, to say someone is not saved just because they read a modern translation is not showing an example of the Messiah. Yahweh can speak to each and every one of us all we should know through the Holy Spirit of truth. Some people have a difficult time reading a book that has a beginning language that men were to think out and make better. It is okay for one to read a modern translation of the Bible. One is not saved by their works, but by faith through grace alone in the Messiah Yahshua.
The Messiah is our Interpretation and our Interpreter who interprets the Scriptures to His knowledge. He also will edify each and every one of us in His great name, that we may grow steadfastly in the knowledge of the truth. Did man save you or did God? We must listen to God rather than men. For even the slightest change can change the whole meaning.

    In the Original Greek
Few things have caused more damage in churches than when pastors say things like:
“In the originals, the word here really means_____”
“The Greek word for this is______”
“A better rending of the originals would be_____”
Churchgoers have heard these sayings for so long they have now become calloused to it! This is a real problem.
So, what is the problem? Here are a few.
    There are no originals
When the pastor says, “in the originals”, it is guaranteed that a majority of the people in his Sunday morning church audience thinks he means the original autographs. What he said was misleading.
The dirty little secret that everyone in seminary knows but no one talks about is that there are no original autographs. Not a single original writing from any apostle, prophet, or tablet of stone exists today. We have thousands of copies (apographs), but not a single true original autograph. Many textual critics think it is impossible to believe the Bible is divinely inspired because of this very point. Bible believers have known this for centuries and understand by faith God preserves his words through copies and translations and not the original autographs.
When the pastor refers to the “originals” in church, he means a copy of a Greek text that was sold to him in the first Greek class he took. Most likely that Greek text did not exist anywhere in history before it was compiled in the last couple centuries.
No one speaks Greek and Hebrew
When the pastor says this in church, he is not speaking to a room of experts in ancient near eastern languages. Some in the audience may have learned the alphabet, or memorized verb tenses in Bible college, or spent a few years in elementary language learning, but the majority can not even tell if what he says is true. Why is it that those pastors who claim the audience should use Bibles in the language of the people think it is helpful to speak foreign languages to them?
    It changes the Bible text
The number one reason pastors go back to the original Greek, Hebrew, Latin, or Aramaic is because they want to retranslate the text to align with their holy outline. If it is only a matter of definition then why don’t they use an English dictionary to clarify? Instead, the English word is seen as insufficient and needs retranslated. This gives the lesson to everyone in the audience that there are mistakes in the Bible, and it is acceptable to retranslate the Bible to make a point. The ends justify the means.
It begets pride and reopens the translation process
Speaking in other languages puffs people up. The Bible has already been translated into English from Greek, Hebrew, and with other translations diligently compared and revised. When the pastor raises the issue of translation he not only claims to correct all the translators of the Bible everyone is holding, but also leaves the translation process open for anyone to do the same thing. How is anyone supposed to know when the process of retranslating/correcting/revising the Bible is complete? In the eyes of most seminary trained textual critics, it will never be finished, because they are constantly finding new manuscripts in the dirt. They do not believe they have God’s words inspired or preserved in a single book.
It robs the audience of God’s words
The most serious problem with pastors saying these things is that it robs the audience of the authority of the Bible in their hands. The Bible in their hands says one thing, but suddenly they need the pastor to tell them what the Bible really should say. What happens when they go home after the meeting and continue reading in the book they hold? Now they will have a doubt, even if small, concerning the very words on the printed page. Since the pastor has declared that at least in one place it is incorrect, how can they trust it enough to teach their children and family at home? Now multiply this by the hundreds of times pastors refer to “the originals” and you might start to understand one reason why people don’t feel confident to study the Bible for themselves.
This needs to stop. People ought to be encouraged to believe the Bible, starting with the one they have, and not the one a pastor retranslates or cherry picks from his own sanctified opinion.
Do we need Greek and Hebrew?
You can live your whole life not knowing a single Greek or Hebrew word and be made perfect unto all good works by all scripture preserved in the English language (2 Tim 3:16-17). If someone tells you otherwise, then you have found someone who wants dominion over your faith.
We already have God’s preserved words in English, but we do need translators. We need faithful workmen to study Bible translation from a Bible believing perspective so that we can help preserve God’s words in languages all across the world that do not have a Bible. If this is your ministry then you will need to study other languages and utilize the translations that have been a part of God’s preservation process through history.
    What Do I Do?
If you hear your pastor say “The Greek word here really means…” have the courage to speak up for the weaker brothers around you and say, “Stick to God’s words in English pastor!” Better yet, find some place where the leadership seeks to encourage Bible belief instead of critiquing scripture when it doesn’t suit their doctrinal preferences.
We need to be sensitive to the critique, editing, and imposition of doubt upon God’s word. It is enough to hear it from without the church, must we hear it from within as well? Don’t let someone who has studied other languages stop you from understanding and trusting God’s word in your own language.
    “…let God be true, but every man a liar;…” - Romans 3:4

Saying that because Anderson is a freak than the KJV is wrong is not a good argument.
The translation of the KJV may not be perfect but the manuscripts it uses are.
In John 7: 8-9 ESV it says “You go up to the feast. I am NOT going up to this feasts...” but a few verses later says “ then he also went up...” So the ESV and many other modern Bibles is making The Lord a liar and a sinner.
On the contrary in the KJV it says “Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up YET unto this feast...”
    Here Jesus is not lying.
Again in Matthew 5: 22NIV says “But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment.” We all know that Jesus got angry in the Bible so is the NIV saying that Jesus is a sinner? Definitely yes. What the KJV says than?
“ But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment.”
Here we have “without a cause”
and Jesus is not a sinner. There are many important changes in modern Bibles like these.
Modern bibles are all catholic made bibles so if you are Protestant or even Hebrew root why are you using a catholic Bible? Modern bibles uses three main texts: Vaticanus, Sinaiticus, and alexandrinus.
I suggest you to read the books of David W. Daniels and learn how these three texts are false.

    • @samlawrence2695
      @samlawrence2695 Год назад

David W Daniels is a KJV only cultist, full of double standards and circular reasoning. Also he is from Chicktracts which is full of conspiracy theories. Would not trust anything from Chicktracts. Especially David W Daniels. You ask why read a Catholic Bible? The KJV was translated from manuscripts dedicated to the Pope, also it leant heavily on the Latin Vulgate a Catholic Bible, showing the heavy Catholic influence on the KJV. So you have Latin words like Lucifer, instead of the more accurate translation, of " morning star" or "day star". Even the KJV had day star in the margin. Also the language is very archaic. So many words have changed meaning, making the KJV even more inaccurate. That is why I do not use the KJV or own one. That was a decision I made even before I had heard of this KJV only cult. A cult that is another gospel, and should be rejected for the damnable, destructive heresy it is.

I'm _not_ a KJV-onlyist. That being said, part of your argument does _not_ address (whether it be intentional avoidance or ignorance) that there's a _sort of_ variant of KJV-onlyists. It's only fair to also acknowledge these groups since outsiders erroneously categorize them as KJV-onlyists. There's the _'KJV is the best English translation we have'_ people, and then there's the _'the texts on which the KJV version were based on-onlyists'_ people (aka the _'Textus Receptus-onlyists'_ aka the _'Receiced Text-onlyists')_ and, the one I believe, the _'Byzantine Text-onlyists'_ (aka the _'Majority Text-onlyists')._ (The Received Text being based on The Majority Text.) It's _not_ a salvation issue, _but_ I do believe it's a _very important_ issue as there is great evidence that the New Testament text from which modern translations are made is a _corrupt_ forgery (as you quoted, "...test everything; hold fast what is good."). The documentary "Tares Among the Wheat" elaborates in _much detail_ on the extremely sketchy history of the modern "Critical Text". My point in saying all this is to say your argument ignores the fact that there is very solid evidence that the "Critical Text" is based on a _forgery_ made to look older than it actually was (the creator of the "codex" even came forward. Watch the documentary for details).
_Perhaps_ it's not a Satanic conspiracy so much as people hiding the truth in order to save face or, at the very least, to accumulate prestige and profit (ie inept and/or corrupt "scholars" (Westcott and Hort, to name a couple)). _Perhaps_ it _is_ a Satanic forgery. And then we talk as if we know the truth because we have studied what other people with their own agenda said. It is frustrating to say the least.

It is clear from the overwhelming amount of well documented actions, quotes, writings, and inconsistencies from everyone involved that the "codex" is fraudulent/illegitimate/has _no_ credibility.
Yes, history is often twisted, censored, etc. But the history of the Critical Text is _not_ being discussed by mainstream scholars (and the fact that the museum, and BBC, and Vatican even refused to talk about and/or even _suppressed_ the extremely sketchy parts of the Critical Text... It's very suspicious when someone refuses to even _discuss_ credible evidence or goes out of their way to _hide_ or suppress opposing views/evidence), the fact that most the mainstream media at the time ran a smear-campaign on the guy who admitted to making the "codex", _and_ the scholars at the time used the "the debate is settled" "argument" _without ever having held a debate_ (the creator of the text tried to hold a public debate but the "scholars" absolutely refused. John 3:20-21
      (English Standard Version)
20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”), and the fact that the _expert's_ opinion was _ignored_ and the opinion of the people lacking expertise were promoted and even taken as scripture (pardon the pun). One scholar said he felt the "codex" was legit because he had a _feeling_ that it was legit. So to acknowledge what you said about history, history definitely was rewritten/covered up but _not_ by the opposers of the false codex but by those in _favor_ of it.
Again, I'm _not_ a KJV-onlyist, but I am a Majority-Text-is-the-best-we-got-seeing-as-the-originals-have-been-lostist (I'm ok with newer translations where the text agrees with the Byzantine/Majority Text. And I'm ok with the KJV where it agrees with the Majority Text). Despite the documentary makers' obvious bias and misguided philosophy (KJV-onlyism) it does not change the evidence. Again, _argumentum ad hominem._

He's probably referencing Codex Sinaiticus which has been dated to the mid 4th century found in St. Catherines monastery at the bottom of Mount Sinai and Codex Vaticanus dated also to the 4th century conveniently discovered in the Vatican library. In 1844 Constantin Tischendorf set off on a voyage to try and discover the worlds oldest Biblical and manuscript and surprise, surprise he discovered it in a monastery reportedly being used by the monks as trash to keep their fire lit (there is another story about the discovery contradictory to this one) the problem I have with Codex Sinaiticus is Constantin Simonadies. If you don't know who this man is he is the Scribe who went to his grave claiming to have written Codex Sinaiticus with his own hand for a wealthy client. How many of you are aware Codex Sinaiticus constains The Shepherd of Hermas and The Gospel of Barnabus? This specific manuscript alongside Codex Vaticanus was later used by two Roman Catholic scholars called Westcott and Hort to bring to completion what we know today as modern translations.
Codex Sinaiticus specifically has been the topic of controversy ever since it's discovery in the 19th century and both Wescott and Hort had very interesting textual techniques when forming the first English translation after the 1611 K.J.V

"Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:
That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord:
Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:
Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.
And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit."- Isaiah chapter 30 verses 8 to 14. WRITE IT IN A BOOK FOR EVER AND EVER. So again the power of God's Word bears witness to itself. Read Luke 4. What BOOK did HE open to read from? The BOOK WRITTEN FOR EVER AND EVER!
You are wrong. Pray on it in Jesus Christ name! Get a king james bible an believe.

KJV Onlyists might want to look at history and logic and re-think their view.
( Some of this ended up being questions for KJV Onlyists.)
    Such as:
-Was Tyndale a heretic because his Gospel of Luke does NOT agree with the KJV textually in 2:22 and other places?
-Is it okay that King James approved of a Puritan being burned at the stake in 1612?
-Is it okay to wear GAY clothing?
-WHICH KJV Bible is free from error?
    -Is the LATIN VULGATE evil?
-Many KJV New Testaments have a note that tells people that the KJV is a REVISION of other English translations.
-MOST KJV Onlyists would HATE to read "Translators to the Reader"!!!!!!!!!!!
-WHY do KJV Onlyists think there is more than one Devil? ( 12 Peter :_)
-Concerning "Missing Verses". IF the KJV is PERFECT- than they will have a MINORITY Text ..... if they are honest.
-KJV Onlyist BASH early manuscripts if they disagree with the KJV. BUT they will run to one IF it AGREES with their KJV Bible.
-Why are you afraid to look at what the Hebrew actually says?
-Do you not attend a Church of England congregation?
-Mr. KJV Onlyist- Can you tell and spell for me the name of the Messiah?
-WHERE was the Word of God in the year 1600?

JESUS CHRIST is the LIVING GOD. The fact that you would ASK that shows why they don't use "new versions". The NAME that is ABOVE every other name. Every KNEE shall bow and every tongue shall CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD to the GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER.
What is 12 Peter supposed to be referring to?
"Why are you afraid to look at Hebrew?" I am not afraid to look at Hebrew but you are LYING to yourself if that MATTERS AT ALL. First HEBREW IS A DEAD LANGUAGE. Do a "google search". This is ADMITTED. So second why was it a dead language? Because Israel was SCATTERED as FORETOLD for not following God! God has PRESERVED HIS WORDS but we see OBJECTIVELY the NATION and the LANGUAGE WAS NOT PRESERVED. So what does that TELL YOU? The Word of God is NOT BOUND. God preserves HIS words. Do you ADMIT THIS? Now let's finish here. WHO TOLD YOU THEY "REDISCOVERED" HEBREW "PERFECTLY"? The SAME people who DON'T believe in Jesus Christ and got SCATTERED FOR NOT FOLLOWING GOD. Those are the people coming and saying they are going to tell you what the "bible really says"??? And you would believe them over the PRESERVED scriptures that were NEVER LOST why? The power of God's Word bears witness to itself. Further, there are IDENTICAL words in english that have totally different meanings. You thinking you can "compare" writings ON THE FLY to "improve" PERFECTION is madness.
Do you really think your ON THE FLY "retranslation" and "recompilation" HUNDREDS of years AFTER the fact compares to the bible PRESERVED and NEVER LOST cross checked OVER 7 YEARS under commission of a King? I will go A STEP FURTHER and say the king james bible was FORETOLD in Psalms 12 which is why it is ATTACKED in "newer versions" as well.
"The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."- Psalms chapter 12 verses 6 to 7.
PURIFIED SEVEN TIMES. So you see, the COMPILATION AND TRANSLATION I believe were FORETOLD. AS we see languages mentioned in scriptures. And we see language is not a barrier to the Word of God. See Acts.
So the compiled King James bible is PERFECT and yes I will go as far as to say it is better by far then you trying to LEARN multiple languages to try to RETRANSLATE AND RECOMPILE the bible ON THE FLY when you speak english.
Does that make sense why you shouldn't trust people 400 years later to "retranslate" it AGAIN AND AGAIN now?
Jesus Christ is the LIVING WORD. In 1600 GOD had preserved it and HE compiled the scriptures in english for us in the king james bible. Which is why it would make no sense to try to UNCOMPILE THEM. Read Luke 4. He opened the BOOK. What book? Read Isaiah 30. Isaiah was not given to them by Moses. God preserved HIS words.
Whatever scriptures they had to use in 1600 GOD led to this. PURIFIED SEVEN TIMES. The letters were not written yet in Acts does that mean the scriptures didn't exist because they weren't done yet? No. People still heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. You have the COMPILED PERFECT King james bible IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE. Why would you ignore that and try to work backwards? It makes no sense.

I do believe that the KJV is the most accurate translation. I myself use an ESV, KJV and the Greek and Hebrew study Bible's. What I find really annoying is how the non KJV versions take verses out and change the meaning that comes out in a shuttle way. I'm not saying that all transactions are without error. This person says that the missing verses are negligible. A big fat lie to prove his point. Then he says that's because the other translations are from older more accurate transcripts. Another big lie. Just because something is older does not make it more accurate. The other translations are from the Alexandrian transcripts while the KJV is not. Three are numerous academic arguments for and against but after listening to them and reading literature I have concluded that the KJV is the most accurate. Obviously this guy prefers the ESV but even though I use it myself have now changed over to KJV as sock of reading foot notes and find more value in the KJV through the Holy Spirit that teaches me. Shalom.

But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. (KJV)
But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother (omit) will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, 'You fool!' will be liable to the hell of fire. (ESV)
In Matthew 5:22, the ESV makes Jesus Christ a sinner by removing the phrase "without a cause". Remember that Jesus Christ got angry in Mark 3:5. This is a contradiction and an accusation against the sinlessness of Jesus Christ. If Jesus was a sinner, then He is not a savoir.
    Matthew 7:14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV)
For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. (ESV)
The ESV perverts the simplicity of salvation in Matthew 7:14 by saying "the way is hard". There is nothing hard about being saved. Being saved is simply by realizing you are a sinner and trusting Jesus Christ (John 10:9, John 4:14).
    Matthew 18:11

(omit) not included in the ESV
    Colossians 1:14

    Through his blood is omitted.
    Philippians 2:6
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: (KJV)
who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, (ESV)
The ESV denies the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ.
    1 Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." (KJV)
Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory." (ESV)
The ESV attacks the deity and incarnation of Jesus Christ by replacing "God" with "He".
    1 John 4:3
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world." (KJV)
and every spirit that does not confess Jesus (omit) is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already." (ESV)
The ESV takes out the words "is come in the flesh" proving itself to have the spirit of antichrist behind it.
    John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (KJV)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only (omit) Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (ESV)
We know that there are many sons of God in scripture, such as Adam (Luke 3:38), the angels (Job 1:6) and Christians (Philippians 2:15). With that in mind, the ESV introduces confusion into John 3:16 by removing the word "begotten". See also Monogenes
    Luke 11:2
And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. 3 Give us day by day our daily bread. 4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil." (KJV)
And he said to them, "When you pray, say: "Father, (omit) hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. (omit) 3 Give us each day our daily bread, 4 and forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation." (ESV)
The Lord's Prayer is changed into the Devil's Prayer by removing the phrases "which art in heaven", "Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in the earth" and "deliver us from evil".
    Luke 2:33
And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him. (KJV)
And his father and his mother marveled at what was said about him. (ESV)
In Luke 2:33 they are saying that Joseph was the father of Jesus. This is an attack upon the doctrine of the virgin birth.
    2 Corinthians 2:17
For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. (KJV)
For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God's word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ. (ESV)
While the ESV corrupts the word of God, it seems like they try their best to cover their tracts. In 2 Corinthians 2:17, they replace "corrupt the word of God" with "peddlers of God's word".
    2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (KJV)
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. (ESV)
The ESV takes out the word "study" in 2 Timothy 2:15 and replaces it with "Do your best". Not only do they do that, but they take out the words "rightly dividing" and replace it with "rightly handling". To understand the Bible one must know how to rightly divide it.
    Luke 4:4
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. (KJV)
And Jesus answered him, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone (omit). (ESV)
In Luke 4:4, the ESV takes out the phrase "but by every word of God". Note that the Lord Jesus Christ is quoting Deuteronomy 8:3.
    Acts 2:47
Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. (KJV)
praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. (ESV)
Hort attacked the doctrine of substitution and the ESV and new versions coming from the Westcott and Hort text, so salvation is not a one time finished thing, rather salvation is a process and is not complete. Notice in the below verses that the KJV says "saved", while the ESV says "being saved" as also the below verses reveal.
    1 Corinthians 1:18
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. (KJV)
For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. (ESV)
    1 Corinthians 15:2
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. (KJV)
and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you--unless you believed in vain. (ESV)
    2 Corinthians 2:15
For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: (KJV)
For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, (ESV)
    Colossians 2:10
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: (KJV)
and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. (ESV)
In Colossians 2:10, the ESV says that we are not "complete" in Christ, rather we are just "filled".

You do realize that the ESV and other versions are NOT translated from the KJV, don't you? You have pointed out some differences here and they are all certainly differences, but I don't agree with your premise that the changed the KJV and that they did it wittingly and with evil intent. The other versions were translated from the original texts that predate the KJV. So where you are claiming that they omitted something, that's just blatantly false. If I read a book and then write a book report on it, and you also read the same book and write your own book reports on it, and then someone comes along and reads both of our book reports, it would be patently false for them to say that you read my book report and intentionally changed all of the words from what I wrote and you did that with malice. Don't you see how ridiculous this sounds? The other versions don't pervert the KJV because they aren't even based on the KJV. That's maybe the mistake that so many people make is this false belief that this is what has happened, that instead of interpreting the text as accurately as possible, and maybe even more accurately than the KJV, that they have omitted things or changed things from the KJV and that's just not true at all, as in my example about your book report, you would be interpreting the story to the best of your ability and relaying the idea as best you could. And ai would do the same. But the end result wouldn't be identical and yet neither of us took the other person's words and distorted them. Not even close.

No attack on the virgin birth in the ESV, the virgin birth is clearly taught. Even the KJV says the parents of Jesus. Also Mary calls Joseph the father of Jesus in Luke's gospel. Was Mary denying the virgin birth as well? The KJV has many added uninspired verses, so how can they be missing if they are not in the older more accurate manuscripts that modern translations are translated from? The KJV is not the standard, it is nothing more than an imperfect uninspired translation. I thank God for better translations than the KJV, in English I can understand.

That's hilarious that they use Anderson. HAHAHAHAHA, wow. Should have used anyone else. So many other pastors worth drawing from.
CONTEXT: I am in no way a KJV-onlyist, just prefer it. CONTEXT, truly a key.
Then the example for "authority" and "power" is not even an issue, same meaning. Please bring up viable translation errors that change the doctrine or message. Figures this would be the one you use...
-Then the name of Yeshua, should never have been changed in any Bible, that is a major issue in all Bibles, as the J sound wasn't created until what, the 1600's.
-Then the question becomes were the verses removed or not? Yes they were. This particular problem has no issue with whether it changes doctrine or meaning yet, the fact is there is adding or in this case, being taken away (Deut 4:2; Rev 22:19). Correct nothing sinister, just goes against what Yah/Yeshua actually states in the Bible which usually means sin...(enter sarcasm).
-Many modern versions actually change doctrine such as Mt 1:25, the "firstborn son", did Mary have other children first, was she not a virgin? Huge issue there. Mt 9:13 is a big deal since Yeshua's first words were "REPENT." Or how about Mt 17:21, power by praying and fasting? Mt 18:11, hmmm. John 10:38 changes "believe" to "understand." Huge difference in doctrine error. I understand Islam believes in Allah, but do I believe in Allah, no...
-Acts 6:8 "grace" and "faith" are interchanged, only Yeshua is full of grace. This is only a few, many more out there.
-When you change doctrine, you change belief. It is no wonder we have >1000's of denominations that can't agree.
-Please don't say modern translations are just different by using modern words. You better do more research @119Ministries. This is why so many people prefer the KJV or even the Geneva over some other New Age translations that come out of Wescott and Hort lineage.
This is by far one of the WORST teachings 119 has put out.

@@samlawrence2695 You are being deceived. Let me explain it to you simply.
"“And the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words, which the LORD spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.”- Deuteronomy chapter 9 verse 10. So it is PERFECT by God HIMSELF. Then God preserves his words.
"The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."- Psalms chapter 12 verses 6 to 7.
Man can't preserve his words. Then we even see it FORETOLD it purified 7 times. I go step further saying king James FORETOLD here over 7 times. So it is PERFECT AND PRESERVED. Anything using "new discoveries" CANNOT BE SCRIPTURES AT ALL. Very simple. Which is why you were warned about those who would come later and try to CHANGE the SCRIPTURES. You were WARNED IN ADVANCE. JESUS loves you! IN Acts they heard the Word of God in their own tongue. No problem. Perfect.

@@MichaelAChristian1 What a load of moronic nonsense from an idolatrous blasphemous KJV only deceiver. You have raised an imperfect uninspired translation above the throne of God. You have made an archaic English translation the standard. Yet like all the lying hypocrites of the KJV only cult. You do not speak KJV English. Because no one could understand what you are talking about. That is why God has blessed us with more accurate modern translations in English we can understand. Even the KJV translators knew their work was not perfect. They even said even the meanest translation is still the word of God. At least the baby sprinkling Anglicans were more honest than the KJV only cult that Satan has raised up. No translation can ever be perfect whatever delusions you believe. The gospel is about Christ and him crucified, not some archaic imperfect uninspired translation. You have added a man made tradition, to the finished work of Christ. That is idolatry, and the sin of witchcraft. Looking forward to more fantasies from you. So carry on quoting scripture out of context, and try to make them fit your heresy of KJV onlyism. If the KJV translators had , the older more accurate manuscripts, we have now, they would not have made so many mistakes. Like mistranslations like Easter instead of Passover. Latin words like Lucifer instead of morning star or day star. A Latin word borrowed from the Latin Vulgate, showing the Catholic influence on the KJV. The KJV translated from manuscripts dedicated to the Pope with added uninspired verses like 1 John 5 v 7 Acts 8 v 37.. your idol the KJV is far from perfect, it never was perfect. Also has the English language changes, and words change meaning. The KJV is even more inaccurate. As I said the gospel is about Christ and him crucified, risen from the dead, and alive forevermore. Those who believe in him will not perish but have everlasting life. No scripture supports the KJV only heresy none at all. You like all KJV onlyists, are false teachers, with no scripture that supports your Man made tradition.

@@samlawrence2695 I am the only one using the SCRIPTURES. You DON'T HAVE THE scriptures . You DON'T BELIEVE in the scriptures. You are saying they are NONE perfect. Guess what? YOU DON'T HAVE THE ORIGINAL STONE TABLETS. You are a LIAR. You MUST believe God PRESERVED HIS WORDS or you don't believe the SCRIPTURES EVEN EXIST. God has preserved his words. The king james bible is IN ENGLISH. Real simple. You can LIE and say you don't understand THOU SHALT NOT STEAL but you do. Everyone does. GOD translated HIS WORDS in ACTS. You are LYING and saying IT CAN'T EVER BE TRANSLATED. God PRESERVED IT or you don't have it. God translated it PERFECTLY or you can't have ANY scriptures to read EVER. So yes the KING JAMES bible is PRESERVED AND purified over 7 times like the scriptures FORETELL EVEN. Everyone WAS king james only until late 1900s. You are saying EVERYONE ON PLANET EARTH WAS WRONG until atheists started tampering with the scriptures. The people "retranslating" different UNPRESERVED scripts don't even believe the GOSPELS were written by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Who were you warned about in the scriptures that would try to CHANGE his words. Now you have over 100 different "versions" saying DIFFERENT things. You cannot say they are the SAME. You are Calling SOMEONE a liar and the "new versions DID NOT EXIST.

No, Easter in the KJV is not an error. Using Easter up to the 17th century was not misleading to the English or German speaking people up to the 17th century; but it is misleading to many readers today. Long before Tyndale coined "Passover" (BTW, Tyndale used passover in OT, but Ester in NT, following Luther), the Germanic word Easter (in various forms) existed in Anglo-Saxon & Germanic Biblical contexts. You'll find Easter in the Anglo-Saxon Wessex Gospels, Luther's German Bible, Tyndale, Coverdale, Geneva, and Bishops'. By reviewing the pre-1611 translations, you'll see Easter being phased out. Yes, it is anachronistic; but it points to the resurrection of the Christ as the Passover Lamb.
