But there were plenty of people obeyed God before the New Covenant. David's sins were forgiven and he (or the people dedicating poems to his name) writes about it quite frequently in the Psalms. Job was described as "blameless and upright". Abraham was "righteous" because he believed God, without any covenant at all. There is more to this. There are good and righteous people who obey God without any covenant or direct knowledge of his complete work and mission in regards to the Mosaic Law and Jesus. The Bible talks about it frequently. So I think the nice, neat theological package that's been wrapped and tied in a bow is not necessarily correct.
One of my favorite things the Holy Spirit has revealed to me is that YHVH (YHWH) gave the commandments in the wilderness. They weren’t in the promised land. To me that shows me that God our Father intended for His Law to be kept everywhere, not just in the promised land and not just by the Hebrews since it was given to a mixed multitude. We still need the blood of Yeshua but it doesn’t negate His Holy Father’s Laws 💚
Thank you. You know another thing that even just sprang to mind. Sorry it's a little windy Thou shall not kill was a law from the beginning. Cain, your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground..and then Cain was cursed. Do not eat this you will surly die, "surely you will not die" the moment eve believes the serpent, she's put another god before her Creator who commands we have no other gods in the 1st commandment. The Sabbath is set aside and made Holy at creation. I could keep going but it's eye opening to realize all of these Laws were established long before Sinai. Abba had to remind people be about that they had been in slavery for so long. So so much like we are today but this modern time is more slavery of the mind. As in all the wicked trash that gets put into it. Even when I watch a Godly channel, I get ungodly commercials...hmm..
But, the question you raise here is that if God is truly a merciful being, why do we need the blood of Yeshua? As a judge, god should have the full authority to forgive a sinner who repents and returns to keeping his commandments as outlined in the mercy clause of Exodus 20:6. The conditions for receiving mercy there is not shedding of blood, but of loving God and keeping his commandments, the same condition Yeshua himself offered up in Matthew 9:13, offering mercy and not sacrifice, if a person would heed his call to repentance, an idea Yeshua told us to go learn what it means which points us to an earlier Old Testament verse in Hosea 6:6.
Christians often argue that Yeshua was put to death for their sins as some sort of substitutionary payment, but this comes with the immoral notion that God, as a judge, would compromise himself to charge Yeshua falsely with man’s sins and then promote murdering the innocent to clear the debt, something Father Yah seems to utterly reject in Exodus 23:7 and elsewhere in his law. So, again, we are left asking, what is the point of Yeshua going to the cross to shed his blood. I mean, Father Yah is quite openly clear that human sacrifice will not work to clear us of the sin of our soul in Micah 6, because Micah asked him if that would work. Father Yah utterly rejected such a notion outright, arguing that the whole duty of man was something else entirely.
Thank you for the clarity of the law In the time after Christ. I have always believed this, but could not explain it to others. When I would tell people that the law still exists, they want to argue with me. I could not use scripture to prove my point of view. Now I can.
For 10 years, I’ve been having friends, relatives and acquaintances, accuse me of needlessly cursing myself with a life of miserable loneliness, or wrongfully condemning them or those that they know and care for, to hell. God doesn’t want anyone to go to hell, that’s why he offers salvation and forgiveness, along with the gift of repentance. I don’t want anyone to go to hell that’s why it’s my responsibility to tell others the truth. The result of being saved is a change of heart… to no longer follow the authority of rebellious or wrongful desires that society may permit you, but to follow God’s authority through his Word.
Shalom Brother 🙏 Great teaching! Very well and simply related.. Now, I pray 🙏 that Our LORD GOD 🙏 Blesses our Christian brothers and sisters with Spiritual eyes to see and perceive. Spiritual ears to hear and understand and a heart of understanding, so that may turn and convert and be healed, in Yahoshua Name Amein 🙏🙏🙏
Hebrews 10:17 “And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.” Colossians 2:13-14 “And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;”. The Law is a moral code that we should follow.
May Yahweh bless you continuously. This debate plagued for a long time and now I have a new understanding it finally makes sense. Thank you, Yahweh is so good🤎🙏🏾💃🏾
Isn't it funny how the truth makes so much sense whereas the Andy struggles and squirms whenever he is confronted; all who are in Yeshua HaMashiach need to stand firm in the faith, and to call out those who lead Messiah's lambs into damnation. May the LORD BLESS YOU ALL AND KEEP YOU, HIS FACE TO SHINE UPON YOU AND GIVE YOU SHALOM!!! Remember to always confront in love but in the strength of the SPIRIT...
Another great presentation, David. For me, reading this chapter, (and perhaps all of Paul's writings) in the CJB translation, helps introduce a much needed distinction and clarification, of what's actually being spoken. I find that this translation also takes into consideration more Jewish sensitivities than many other translations, and also helps to restore a more authentic vibe to what was recorded for us.
What a blessing! Thank you for providing so much scripture in all your teachings. Especially this topic which seems to be such a divide amongst believers. Shalom brother!
Awesome great study finally someone who knows what they're talking about on RUclips preaching truth that's what I like to hear unfortunately there's not too many people who like to hear it was itchy ears in the flesh seems to get the best of a lot of people which is very sad good video very good keep up the good work😊
Awesome teaching and a great break down of the law Paul was talking about. Many under the umbrella of Christianity does not understand that Paul talked about 7 laws. Every time they see law, they think of the moral law. Praise the Most High for truth.
yep. and the whole entire torah is his moral instructions too. but unfortunately that's how excuses sometimes are: nonsense. (shrug) But this is how blindness works until He opens blind eyes.
Romans 7:12- if you read the verse before and after Romans 7-12 to me Paul is speaking from the perspective of a Jew before Christ and pointing out that the law made one aware of “sin” . In other words, the purpose of the law was to highlight / expose one’s sins. He seems to be speaking of his pre Christ self to make a point. He is showing the burden of the law on a man unacquainted with the gospel and drawing contrast between the law and the gospel of grace
This is probably the most thorough explanation of these verses. Thank you for that! I attempted to write my own teaching on this passage (not to actually teach, but as a method of helping me understand better) This was way more clear than mine lol. God Bless!
Amen! I just went through this study with some Christian friends trying to explain. I came to the same conclusion as your quote from kline. Paul repeatedly talks about the law of sin (equals death) and the law of the spirit (equals life). It's not literally Torah. I believe Paul was reiterating Deuteronomy 30 - we either choose life or death. With regards to the letter vs spirit, it reminds me of the new covenant as defined by Jeremiah and Ezekiel. The law is no longer on stones but it is being written on our minds and hearts which is born of the Spirit as Yeshua said to Nicodemus.
@@bgood1532 I agree but what most are doing is trying to cover their butt, if they can and also live as they please. There are so many channels that react to any video like this and say 'this person is going to hell for trying not to sin'. I always ask, so now it's a sin to try and not sin. They love to quote small little passages to prove their points but my argument is why is the bible so big if all you need to do is believe one time, at some point in your life and that's all? It doesn't make sense. The fallen angels are great at what they do.
I agree. Great vid! As usual, here is my meditation on the matter today: For people who think God‘s law was done away, Paul’s parable would continue like this: When the woman’s husband died then she was freed from from the law and thus she could then have sex with many men because, for her, the law had been done away. Hh but, of course, this logical extension of their interpretation makes no sense, indeed, It creates a logical contradiction within their own system of beliefs. Therefore their interpretation can not stand. As Paul says, she is then free to marry another man but once she marries that other man she is once again under the law of marriage. The law did not go anywhere, the law continued to be a structure that governed her life-For, even while unmarried, she was not free to have sex outside of marriage, and when she started just thinking about getting married she had to think carefully which individual man she would marry because the law would only let her marry one man. Thus the law of marriage (the law against adultery) never stopped applying to her; she never died to that law itself. What she died to was that particular application of the law (ie, a sub-law of the law) based on her situation of being married to that particular first man. She did not die to the sub-laws/applications/aspects/expressions of the law against sex with multiple men outside of marriage. Her relationship to the law changed; in a sense as her situation changed one kind of relationship to the law died and a new kind of relationship to the law began. Just like your kind of relationship to the law changes depending on whether you killed a man or did not, depending on whether you were a priest or a normal person, a man or a woman, a human or an ox. In one sense your relationship to the law changes but in another sense your relationship to the law (as the whole law) does not change. Covenant is not the same as law. A covenant is a legal structure that defines your relationship to a law. The covenant is your agreement to keep the law, but it is also a system designed to manage your relationship to the law. For example, defining terms of what happens when you break the law, and setting up an incentive system of blessings and cursings. There are many covenants made in the Bible. The Moses-mediated covenant set up a system of animal sacrifices to represent confession of, payment for, and repentance from, sin. It offered the promise of a long high quality life in the land. But, assuming you don’t interpret that to be an indirect reference to eternal life, that covenant did not offer the promise of eternal life. In Deuteronomy, Moses does talk about the law being in your heart and also the idea of circumcising your heart; assuming you don’t interpret that to refer to the promise of the Holy Spirit in everyone, then that covenant was only a list of requirements but not also the provision of the power to keep those requirements. That covenant (But not just that covenant; note also in the implicit covenant with Adam and Eve), It specified the penalty of sin as death. Assuming that just refers to the death we all experience in this life, it does not specify the final second death in the lake of fire. That covenant set up a priesthood designed to do all the things that practically needed to be done as part of managing the people’s relationship to the law (that is, their relationship to God, where keeping the law is a core part of how one loves God, as Deuteronomy, Jesus and John speak much of). Assuming that just refers to the Levitical priesthood, then it doesn’t refer to the priesthood of Jesus the High Priest. But, of course, the covenant that was mediated by Jesus Christ includes the four alternative aspects listed above. The Hebrew scriptures never prophesied about the doing a way of the law, but only prophesied about a change in our ability/willingness to keep that law. Jesus spoke the same. Paul spoke the same, but as Peter noted, people twist Paul’s words to their own destruction. ( Note: No one actually twists Paul to say that we earn salvation through the law, so putting that aside: Would one be destroyed if A. God really will judge us by the law, but people ‘twist’ Paul to say the law was done the way, or B. God really will judge us by the law and people ‘twist’ Paul to say that we should still keep the law (again, not to earn salvation), or C. God really will not judge us by the law and the people ‘twist’ Paul to say that the law was done away. Only option A will result in your destruction. So It isn’t logically possible that Peter is talking about the ideas as put in option B or C. Peter was warning against option A…are you or your church teaching option A? To be clear, teaching that the law was done away will lead to your destruction. ) Just as the woman exited one covenant through death and was then free to enter another covenant (Note: both covenant situations used the same law!), so also an Israelite could exit the Moses-mediated covenant through the death of Jesus Christ and would then be free to enter the Jesus-mediated covenant (which uses the same law, but the covenant differs in the four aspects listed above and thus classifies as a different covenant). (Note: in those 4 aspects above, there is a way to interpret scripture such that there are no differences and thus no ‘new’ covenant-except for the aspect of Jesus being our new High Priest. If you can show me how that can also fit into the Moses-mediated covenant, let me know! Otherwise, to be consistent one should interpret those four aspects of as real differences that imply different covenants.)
Thanks! Reviewing it, I see it I need to add one more note: Near the end where I say both covenants use utilize the same law, this is because the law is God’s law, it belongs to him and is associated primarily with God himself, not Israel. Same God? Same law.
Thank you 119Ministries for this video to help reassure me of my sanity. The Christian Church persecutes me socially and psychologically for believing we should continue to practice Torah in Spirit and Truth. They have gaslit me and in general basically stated "tow the line of orthodoxy or be silent". It hurts cause I love them and am trying to help by showing their error, but they will not repent of their error. Thus, my leaving their fellowship. In summary, a lot of my friends and peers think I'm crazy for my views on Torah, and always use Paul as their go to guy. Yet the way I see it they are just following after those who came in unawares and spread division from the Holy doctrines of the Gospel and brought traditions and leaven of the Pharisees.
Hebrews 8:10 For this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds and inscribe them on their hearts. ~~~~this is the workings of the Holy Spirit. Romans 11:11-24 Paul compares Israel to the natural branches of a cultivated olive tree and the Gentile believers to the branches of a wild olive tree. Some of the natural branches (Israel) were broken off, and the wild branches (Gentiles) were grafted in (verse 17).
Thank you for your understanding in this issue of great importance. I have been attempting to get my christian friends to listen to your message here. If not, I will continue to try and verbally paraphrase it to them bit by bit so they too may have correct belief regarding the Torah of our God.
This is a fundamental understanding that 119 ministries has blessed me with and I am horrified that most Christians reject this through “ Saved by Faith “ without knowing what Faith entails, though explained through James 2 18-24
That’s why I rather listen to Yahuah & Yahusha and stop spending forever worried about all the things Paul said and trying to make excuses and dissect it…we don’t have this problem with nothing Yahuah or Yahusha said
@@TheSAMHAINHOT The apostles were sent by Jesus and we are to receive them and their message as the message of Christ, himself. If you do not receive the apostles Jesus sent, you do not receive Jesus. Be careful.
@@lightoftheworld5455 Context is key. We are justified by faith, and not by works. But we are also created in Christ for good works. Good works follow those who are actually created in Christ. See Eph 2:10. James is defining real faith; faith that produces works; just like Abraham.
Exodus 20:8-11; Exodus 31:14-15; Exodus 35:1-2; Numbers 15:32-36; Romans 8:2; 2 Corinthians 3:7-8; Matthew 5:18. Galatians 4:21 Tell me, you who desire to be under the law [Hebrews 7:11], do you not hear the law?
“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelation 12:17 KJV Those saying we are free from the law, ask yourselves this. Why would the dragon be at war with the church and those who keep the commandments if we are free from it? Bc we are not! We are called to follow Jesus and dying to the law means we give up on worldly things. Fully submitting to Christ and aiming to live a life that reflects that.
When asked what is the most important of the commandments, jesus said "love the Lord your god." We cannot obey the law without love. It's love for God, not obedience to the law.
@blowtheshofar the commandments you are speaking of are the laws which apply to those who live in sin and are therefore bound to the law. Those are grievous because the law accuses and condemns all of their sins. But those who have put their faith in christ have become dead to the flesh, reborn a new creature in christ. The Bible says when we are saved, we become children of God and as such, the holy spirit indwelling us and as the holy spirit cannot sin, we are now no longer guilty before God of sin. The law was made for those who break the law.
Let’s take another point of view, 1Jn 2:3 now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep his commandments 4 He who says, I know Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar and the truth is not in him, or John 15:14 You are my friends if you do whatever I command you, and how about the big one John 14:15 if you love Me, keep my commandments, not to be saved but because we are saved, is it is written faith without works is dead, keep the faith and do as Jesus did, God bless you all
I wish I could meet people around me that understand this. I can't stand the local churches in my area they teach so much that goes against the bible and just try to justify it.
I have a question. What about a person who physically dies? Some have been bought back after like 5 minutes, so what then for them. I suppose they were free and bound again while they were dead as they returned. Wow, what a trip. Bless you brothers for the teaching.
Kathie, think of Lazarus, he lived many years after Jesus resurrected him, so b believing more securely in the Son of God I am sure he was saved till his second death.✝️👍🥰

If Paul wrote Romans 7 showing a Christian's battle with sin, then the "law of the spirit of life in Christ" had NOT set him free from the "law of sin and death"! Rather, not being under the law but grace sets us free.
Amen bro...UNDER THE NEW COVENANT GOD PUTS HIS LAWS IN OUR HEARTS & MIND..HE GIVES US A NEW HEART & SPIRIT & HIS HOLY SPIRIT...WE WANT TO DO GOOD.....CHRIST IS OUR HIGH PRIEST THAT INTERCEDES FOR US FOREVER...ONCE AND FOR ALL SACRIFICE THAT SAVES US COMPLETELY...!❤❤
Who told Paul that the law is what ultimately determines if a person deserves life or death? In what righteous court does the law ever supercede the judges ruling in such matters? Paul clearly did not understand Yeshua’s reasoning in Matthew 12 if he leaps to such an unwarranted conclusion. Yeshua sites the fact that the priests profane the Sabbath and that David ate the shewbread which was unlawful for him to eat. Clearly, these are transgressions of the law the law condemns and both should die, right? Yet, Yeshua concludes instead that they are blameless. How dare he, that can’t be right, yet it is. That means the law is not the grand supreme authority condemning us or pardoning us or arguing that we are blameless when a transgression arises. It is the judge who condemns us of sin when push comes to shove. The law merely informes us and the court of what is right and wrong, but the judge has to decide if a transgression warrants condemnation and actually is the one who passes sentence. Because while it is unlawful to steal, a man stealing bread to feed his starving family isn’t necessarily worthy of condemnation. Nor is a man who works on the Sabbath to lift his ox out of a ditch necessarily breaking the Sabbath. Nor was the woman caught in the act of adultery worthy of Yeshua’s condemning her as he was writing the sins of her accusers in the ground instead with his finger. While the law cannot articulate in and of its own means a person’s circumstances or how dire their situation is, our heavenly Father can read the very heart of man and knows precisely what prompts and motivates us to transgress his law and precisely when that transgression is born of a depraved intent or not. So, if Paul were merely a victim of sin in him as he keeps complaining about in romans 7, then what was his cause to worry about that? How can he be guilty of sinning, if he is not in control over his own faculties to make free will choices to drive his own actions in the direction he desires? Father Yah will immediately discern that this is a matter which bears no relevance in a man’s being judged in that there is no evil intent to sin if you are a mere victim of a defective nature. It would be like someone tossing a brick through a window, and the homeowner decides to condemn the brick only to learn that the brick has no capacity to toss itself through the window. But, the far more dangerous reality is that anyone taking Romans 7 seriously, is opening the door for their 12-year old to take them for a ride. Because a smart kid reading Romans 7 will catch on to the scam being promoted here and argue that they would like to obey their parents, and in their mind they do, but their flesh prevents them. So, sorry, Mom and Dad, but sin in me, not me, is what is causing me to disobey you and I think I will keep using that excuse to get my way no matter what because you are so incredibly gullible. That’s the real game Paul is promoting in Romans 7, but if Paul were correct, then God must be a real tyrant in the Old Testament, right, not being honest that the reason he is complaining is not because Israel was disobedient intentionally, but because they themselves were victims of a defective nature forcing them into disobedience. If God knew that to be true, why not show them more compassion, acknowledging the seriousness of their defective situation? No, he instead rebukes and chastises them as if to say he is not buying any lame excuse of not having a choice, but is blaming them for their choices and actions to disobey him, because he knows perfectly well that he designed them with the capacity to make free will choices and carry them out.
Gods law is righteousness, the Torah given to Abraham, the amendment given to Moses is to curse sin. I have a Ytube video series 'Myths in so-called Christianity'.
If you know someone that is against the Torah, have them write down the 10 commandments. However, have them use the opposite of each command. They will quickly be surprised at the result.

I am a believer in Yeshua and because of the Holy Spirit I have changed so much about my life for the good, but I still have a sin in my life that I am having a very hard time overcoming. Very often I have the thought that I am not truly saved because of this sin. Is this what is meant by the laws condemnation? Also when Yeshua tells believers to depart from him because he never knew them and that they are workers of iniquity, is this due to sin in their lives that they haven't dealt with? As you've already guessed I am stressed about that being said to me because of my sin that is still plaguing me. I hope someone can help me out with a response. Thanks and God bless!
When a certain sin is a way of life, it’s something you practice, then that’s a red flag. One thing is certain, we need to remove our self from tempting situation’s and circumstances. Remember what Jesus said about the eye, hand or foot that causes one to sin… get rid of it, so it doesn’t lead us to hell. If you are certain, it is a sin, turn from it, Jesus will give you the victory. Blessings to you and total peace and victory over your situation. ❤

Yes, we are under the law of liberty ,the law of the spirit, the law of Christ. Christ said that all the 10 Commandments were summed up in two laws that he brought to us . The laws are love your God with all the heart , and love thy neighbor is thy self ,all the law is summed up in these two laws . If you follow these two laws, you will not violate any laws. And saying that we’re liberty comes in to play, is Christ committed no sin ,he was sinless ,but yet he broke the sabbath. He did not break the sabbath because he is Lord of the Sabbath. He came in fulfilled the law ,that which is old has passed away, and we are in a new covenant ,he is the fulfillment, one of the commandments which shows we are under a new set of laws not under 10 Commandments anymore, but under the law of Christ.
If a woman's husband dies, is she still bound to PART of her former relationship with him? No, the husband has passed away and she is now free to marry a different husband (Jesus Christ). The old relationship with the dead husband has ended. The Holy Spirit is our new law. It conforms us to Christ's image. The old covenant law was good, but in Christ, we conform to a higher moral law, not one containing only of ten moral points. It is not one written in stone but one written in our hearts.
Then why did paul say "to Gentiles I became as a gentile? To those who did not obey the law, I became as one who did not obey the law"? If he stopped obeying the law, is that not sin itself?
As important as it is to obey Torah, why do you suppose God allowed Paul's teachings/writings to become so misinterpreted and twisted to the point orthodox Christianity rejects Torah observance?
In all the Word, there is no other character I can think of that has caused as much strife, debate, confusion, discord and lawlessness as the apostle Paul (actually it is hasatan, but he uses Paul effectively). Does anyone wonder what Yahshua’s purpose was in choosing him, a Pharisee, people known for making stuff up outside of Torah, to be the one to go to the gentiles/temple prostitute, blood drinking, idol worshippers who probably had no idea what he was talking about most of the time. He obviously knew what He was doing picking Paul but it seems he just created a huge barrier to faith resulting in obedience, which should be plain and obvious from scripture outside of Paul. I wonder if He wanted to see who would obey His Word in spite of Paul.
Great video! HOWEVER, I believe that you missed a "knock-out blow" that would have "sealed the deal". I'm referring to Romans 7:23, which spells out what Paul is referring to in verse 6. Granted, you did make a couple of parenthetical references to verse 23, but you never actually cited it. Here are those two verses. Hopefully, you will readily see what I'm talking about: Romans 7:6 NRSV But now we are discharged from the law, dead to that which held us captive, so that we are slaves not under the old written code but in the new life of the Spirit. Romans 7:23 NRSV but I see in my members another law at war with the law of my mind, making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. And, in case you didn't see it, here it is: 👉discharged & dead to that which held us CAPTIVE👈 (Verse 6) 👉another law...making me CAPTIVE to the law of sin👈 (Verse 23) So, as we can see, Paul specifically identifies the law that we've been discharged from - the one that held us "captive", and to which we have died - is "another law"! And, as we can also see, that other law was the law of sin (and death), and therefore we can know with all certainty that Paul was NOT referring to the perfect Laws of God (in verse 6), of which he delights! Shalom Brother Randy Sour Milk Ministries
Paul has written a parable about 2 laws / statutes, it is about the baptismal promises, and by sin the untrue believer proves their lack of faith in Christ. I have a Ytube video #18 parts 1 and 2 about the able in Romans 7:1-4, the law freed from is that brought in by Moses for sin, to keep the law of Abraham and Christ. Those in Christ follow the Torah of Abraham, and are freed from the Torah of Moses, as the live by faith and walk in the Spirit.
So, if the law of the Spirit allows us to fulfill righteousness, and the law of the flesh leads to condemnation, then why did Father Yah get upset with Israel throughout the Old Testament for setting them up to fail? Unless he gives them full access to the law of the Spirit long before Yeshua went to the cross, then he should have known their inability to avoid being condemned by his law was by his own design, right? And hence, to constantly harp at them and blame them for failing when he knows the cause was he designed them to fail by not granting them access to the law of the Spirit back then would speak poorly of God as a judge, especially a judge who claims to be righteous, would it not??? Sorry, but I see Paul as leading us to this rather aweful conclusion which suggests to me that he doesn’t have a proper grasp of what is going on. The author of Hebrews 8 seems to get caught up in a similar mess, suggesting that the first covenant was faulty. But, would a loving compassionate, perfectly righteous God really give those who put their trust in him a faulty covenant just to screw them over? At some point I think Christians need to grow up and really grab this particular bull by the horns and figure out where the early church went wrong here, because this mess Paul and the author of Hebrews has created is not in any way a proper reflection of the teachings of Yeshua. Especially when the author of Hebrews starts suggesting that the Old Covenant portion of the law waxes old and is ready to vanish, contradicting openly Yeshua’s claim that not one jot or tittle shall pass from the law till all is fulfilled in Matthew 5, the sign Yeshua giving for that event being when heaven and earth passes, a sign Yeshua comes back to John in Revelation 21:1 to confirm happens when the first heaven and first earth pass away at the time when God introduces the New Earth.
Paul says, follow me as i follow Christ. No thank you i follow Christ. The Messiah said it is finished. Scriptures says you have no need for a neighbor to teach a neighbor. Trust NO man. GOD said cursed is the man that trusts in the arm of flesh. Paul is not the Savior of the world. Follow The Most High GOD and His Spirit who will lead you into ALL TRUTH.
We are no longer under the law of Moses. We are under the law of Christ. People realize there are many laws of God, but we are now under the New Covenant where Jesus has given us Grace to be able to walk freely.
The law of Messiah is the law of Moses. There’s NO difference. The law Moses brought forth is Yah’s instructions, not his own. “I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him.” Deuteronomy 18:18-19 NKJV. The prophet that Yah speaks of to Moses in this passage is Yahusha.
Amen! By Grace Alone, By Faith Alone, By Christ Alone, By Scripture Alone, and To the Glory of God Alone. Not by the works of the law, one cannot earn his way to heaven.
Matthew 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, *Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?* Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, *keep the commandments.* Matthew 19:18 He saith unto him, *Which?* Jesus said, *Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,* Matthew 19:19 *Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.* _In Matthew 19:16 a man asks, “Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?”_ _Matthew 19:17 Jesus replies, “... keep the commandments.”_ _Matthew 19:18 the man then asks, “Which?” (meaning “which” commandments)._ _Matthew 19:18-19 Jesus' replies by reciting from the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself._
Dear friends, your teaching is not following Apostle Paul teaching but goes next to it. Keep learning however. Your views are not in Harmony with the Bible teachings but...
This is definitely unbiblical and lordship theology. This goes against what Paul says in Galatians 5:16-18: “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” This is an eisegetic interpretation, and does not line up with other scriptures, especially those written by Paul. In Matthew 5:17 when Christ says ““Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.” It’s important to a knowledge he was speaking to people under the old Covenant, people who still attempted to receive justification through their works of the Law. With the New Covenant, the Law has not been done away with, because there are still people who do not know Christ, not for believers to obey. Think, Christ says Himself the Law will not disappear until Heaven and Earth do, and believers will live in the New Heavens and New Earth, after the old have passed away, will we still be under the Law then? No! Then therefore let’s consider again what Paul says to Christian’s in Galatians 3:24-25: “So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.” 1 John 1:8: “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.” Also to the point made about interpreting Romans 7:6’s “written code” (“gramma” in the Greek) as “the old life of slavery to sin,” that goes against Paul’s use of the same exact word in the same Book in Romans 2:27-29 where Paul says: The one who is not circumcised physically and yet obeys the law will condemn you who, even though you have the written code {gramma} and circumcision, are a lawbreaker. A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code {gramma}. Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God.”
Phil, with all due respect, you're dead wrong. For example, you began by supposing that _"this teaching goes against what Paul says in Galatians 5:16-18"._ However, that is simply not the case. Might I kindly suggest that you consider watching our (Sour Milk Ministries) video on that very passage. The video is entitled: _Video 21: If You Are Led By The Spirit, You Are Not Under The Law (Un-twisting Galatians 5:18)_
Okay, but if we supposedly died to the laws ability to condemn us, we need to ask then what went so disasterously wrong? After the cross, all these Paul followers claiming we are under the law of the Spirit and no longer condemned by the law, they keep dying off too, as if to suggest their theological conclusion has resulted in utter disaster. So, obviously, if the law is not condemning us and causing us to die anymore, then what is still condemning us such that we continue to die off for the next couple of thousand years after the cross? If the law of the Spirit allows us to obey God to the end of fulfilling righteousness, then death for believers should have ceased at the cross. Because the righteous are not subject to condemnation, right? You are trying to save Paul from his contradictions, but you are creating an even bigger mess for Paul in the process here. If death and dying of believers had ended at the cross, your story would carry a lot more weight and provide believers with more confidence that your reasoning is correct, but that simply didn’t happen. This world is still quite steeped in sin, and believers die off just as easily as the wicked do, suggesting that something is very wrong with Paul’s analysis of the situation we are in.
_Paul is a hypocrite (especially when he comes to speak of the law)._ 1 Corinthians 9:20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; 1 Corinthians 9:21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. Definition of hypocrite 1: a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion 2: a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings _He claims to have “became” … “as under the law” and then “as without law” which puts on a false appearance and acts in contradiction to his stated beliefs or feelings._ _(Paul is a confessed hypocrite by the very definition of the word.)_
Romans 7:4 is the core of christian and messianic idolatry. These are the words of a man who implies that God the husband, has died so that we can be married to another husband jesus. To die means to cease to exist. Torah cannot cease to exist, be changed or done away with by any man or messiah because they do not have the authority to do so. Niether can they add to Gods word. Seeking after another name or another power as your source of strength or righteousness is idolatry. How do you "die to the law" when the keeping of it brings life and blessing and the favor of God and makes us righteous? Deu_6:25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before YHWH our God, as he hath commanded us. 2Sa_22:25 Therefore YHWH hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight. Psa_15:2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. Psa_119:172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness. Deu 4:39 Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that YHWH he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else. Deu 4:40 Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which YHWH thy God giveth thee, for ever. Not once was any Israelite told to die to what God said was righteous in order to keep what God said was righteousnes if we keep it. How do you die to what YHWH said was truth, holy and perfect? Paul calls the law weak and says that no man can be justified by it. Paul says that we are no longer under Torah or schoolmaster if we put our faith in a messiah. He says it is not of faith as if faith was not part of our obedience to God. Paul has zero evidence that what he claims is based in Torah. His claims are intended to draw people away from keeping the commandments of God for faith in a man who suposedly becomes righteousness for us because he/ jesus perfected the law for us??? Throughout Pauls writtings he deminishes the law or Torah of YHWH and contrasts it with the works of a man as the "new way" to please God and to be "righteous" before Him. This is a false doctrine and this is idolatry that is drawing or enticing men away from YHWH alone as our righteousness. Jer 10:10 But YHWH is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation. Jer 10:11 Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens. Jer 10:12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion. Jer 10:13 When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures. Jer 10:14 Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. Jer 10:15 They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
We are not bound by the law for righteousness. We are made righteous thru Christ, unlike the Old Testament, which were made right by following the law, which most failed. Today we are righteous thru Christ not by obeying the law but we still keep some laws because of our love for righteousness. Keeping the food law does not lead to righteousness but each of the 10 commandments is righteous so we keep them. Keeping the sabbath does not It lead to righteousness but fellowship with the saints does, so we attend church and have fellowship. Two different things
Paster Stanely is wrong, and will be very sorry for teaching this, as how can man change God's law? study up on paul and find out a bit more, as you will be very surprised!
Some years back I heard from some that Paul was a false apostle. I dismissed them as crazy. But after several months of some of their good points thet had made still pzzled me. So as you said, I studied up on Paul and comapared Paul's claims and teachings to our Messiahs. I was very surprised to conclude the scriptures from the gospels prove Paul's claims aboiut himself and his claims about Jesus' disicples are false. Also Acts has imformation about Paul's activities that show he had falsely claimed to be an apostle.
@KeepingWatch95 So are you saying that Paul is a false apostle?? I’d be very careful going down that rabbit hole if I were you. I’ve seen people who start out dismissing Paul, then dismiss Yahushua and eventually the entire Bible. If I understand correctly what you’re saying, cause it was a little confusing, none of Paul’s writings contradict our Messiah. If you are struggling with something that seems as though it does, you are not understanding it then. Peter says in 2 Peter 3:15-18 - “and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation-as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures. You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.” Some of his writings are hard to understand, but here Peter attests to the fact that he is a beloved brother and apostle.

People who dismiss Yahushua and eventually the entire Bible, after dismissing Paul is because they never belived in Yahushua and the entire Bible to begin with. Paul comes up anothe way. John 10:3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. John 10:4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. John 10:5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

Because that's not Yeshua's Name. So then, isn't the real question: Why can't you start calling Him by His real Name? Yes, I know firsthand that it will seem odd at first, and even be hard to do. But, eventually, that will flip 180 degrees. Meaning, that after a while it will seem odd to call Him Jesus.

Praise God for this teaching! May the Lord continue to prosper this ministry
thank you for this. The New covenant enables us to obey God for the first time in our lives.
@@logicaldude3611 yep. Faith in christ is what makes us righteous and justified.
Obey the gospel not the law becoz already dead to the law
One of my favorite things the Holy Spirit has revealed to me is that YHVH (YHWH) gave the commandments in the wilderness. They weren’t in the promised land. To me that shows me that God our Father intended for His Law to be kept everywhere, not just in the promised land and not just by the Hebrews since it was given to a mixed multitude.
We still need the blood of Yeshua but it doesn’t negate His Holy Father’s Laws
💚
Great insight 🙌🏼
Thank you. You know another thing that even just sprang to mind. Sorry it's a little windy
Thou shall not kill was a law from the beginning.
Amen
The law of marriage never changed from Genesis 2: Matthew 5: 31,32; 19:3-9; Mark 10; Luke 16:18; Romans 7:1-3.

Awesome teaching and a great break down of the law Paul was talking about. Many under the umbrella of Christianity does not understand that Paul talked about 7 laws. Every time they see law, they think of the moral law. Praise the Most High for truth.

It's hard talking to Christian friends and neighbors about this topic. It seems most, just don't want to follow His ways.

For people who think God‘s law was done away, Paul’s parable would continue like this: When the woman’s husband died then she was freed from from the law and thus she could then have sex with many men because, for her, the law had been done away.
(
Note: No one actually twists Paul to say that we earn salvation through the law, so putting that aside:
Would one be destroyed if
A. God really will judge us by the law, but people ‘twist’ Paul to say the law was done the way, or
B. God really will judge us by the law and people ‘twist’ Paul to say that we should still keep the law (again, not to earn salvation), or
C. God really will not judge us by the law and the people ‘twist’ Paul to say that the law was done away.
Only option A will result in your destruction. So It isn’t logically possible that Peter is talking about the ideas as put in option B or C. Peter was warning against option A…are you or your church teaching option A? To be clear, teaching that the law was done away will lead to your destruction.
)
Just as the woman exited one covenant through death and was then free to enter another covenant (Note: both covenant situations used the same law!), so also an Israelite could exit the Moses-mediated covenant through the death of Jesus Christ and would then be free to enter the Jesus-mediated covenant (which uses the same law, but the covenant differs in the four aspects listed above and thus classifies as a different covenant).
(Note: in those 4 aspects above, there is a way to interpret scripture such that there are no differences and thus no ‘new’ covenant-except for the aspect of Jesus being our new High Priest. If you can show me how that can also fit into the Moses-mediated covenant, let me know! Otherwise, to be consistent one should interpret those four aspects of as real differences that imply different covenants.)
your marriage / covenant and law analogy is a good example.
The more I learn, the more I realize I did not know or learn correctly growing up in church.
Don't forget we are testing everything you are saying 🎉
Paul also said "there is a curse on the law. Whoever tries to obey and fails just 1 is accursed."

“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
Revelation 12:17 KJV
Those saying we are free from the law, ask yourselves this.
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous..
@@blowtheshofar his commandments are to look to the Son and believe and have faith.
If they continue living in the flesh, then they remained bound to the law of the flesh.
Kathie, think of Lazarus, he lived many years after Jesus resurrected him, so b believing more securely in the Son of God I am sure he was saved till his second death.✝️👍🥰

Ten Commandments are the LAW
The Old Covenant law contained more than the ten commandments. For example, one would be cut off (killed?) if they didn't keep the Passover.
Does this mean We're still to obey the Sabbath as Friday sunset to Saturday sunset? Ten Commandments says: Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it *HOLY*
As Christians, should We keep SATURDAY and SUNDAY both HOLY?
We should try to keep every day holy and always give thanks to Lord Jesus Christ!❤
Amen. Every day!

For me, it helps to remember that there are no sacrifices/provisions in the Torah for "intentional" sin. Forgiveness has always been through Grace.
If Paul wrote Romans 7 showing a Christian's battle with sin, then the "law of the spirit of life in Christ" had NOT set him free from the "law of sin and death"! Rather, not being under the law but grace sets us free.
Through Christs death we are no longer under the law but under a new contract
Amen bro...UNDER THE NEW COVENANT GOD PUTS HIS LAWS IN OUR HEARTS & MIND..HE GIVES US A NEW HEART & SPIRIT & HIS HOLY SPIRIT...WE WANT TO DO GOOD.....CHRIST IS OUR HIGH PRIEST THAT INTERCEDES FOR US FOREVER...ONCE AND FOR ALL SACRIFICE THAT SAVES US COMPLETELY...!❤❤
Are Paul's verses about marriage and widows in the Torah or Jewish halakhah? Is it a Jewish command or Torah command?
So...why was paul telling new believers, in galatians, not to get circumcised because obeying the law couldn't perfect our salvation???
Gods law is righteousness, the Torah given to Abraham, the amendment given to Moses is to curse sin. I have a Ytube video series 'Myths in so-called Christianity'.

John 14:24 *He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings:* and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

A believer did die. We died with christ. What do you think that means?
his summary of Romans 8:2-4 is incorrect.
3 minutes 28 seconds.
Paul met them where they were, as Gentiles.
He never stopped obeying the law. If you go back and read it he says that he does it without breaking the law of God.
As important as it is to obey Torah, why do you suppose God allowed Paul's teachings/writings to become so misinterpreted and twisted to the point orthodox Christianity rejects Torah observance?
Computers. Are like a jury
Hopefully, you will readily see what I'm talking about:
Romans 7:6 NRSV But now we are discharged from the law, dead to that which held us captive, so that we are slaves not under the old written code but in the new life of the Spirit.
Romans 7:23 NRSV but I see in my members another law at war with the law of my mind, making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.
And, in case you didn't see it, here it is:
👉discharged & dead to that which held us CAPTIVE👈 (Verse 6)
👉another law...making me CAPTIVE to the law of sin👈 (Verse 23)
So, as we can see, Paul specifically identifies the law that we've been discharged from - the one that held us "captive", and to which we have died - is "another law"! And, as we can also see, that other law was the law of sin (and death), and therefore we can know with all certainty that Paul was NOT referring to the perfect Laws of God (in verse 6), of which he delights!

_Matthew 19:17 Jesus replies, “... keep the commandments.”_

_Matthew 19:18-19 Jesus' replies by reciting from the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself._
That's right.. Holy Spirit made us alive with pure Gospel of Christ. We are under Grace not Law.
Law has no faith but just doers..
Dear friends, your teaching is not following Apostle Paul teaching but goes next to it. Keep learning however. Your views are not in Harmony with the Bible teachings but...
This is definitely unbiblical and lordship theology. This goes against what Paul says in Galatians 5:16-18:
“So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.”
This is an eisegetic interpretation, and does not line up with other scriptures, especially those written by Paul.
In Matthew 5:17 when Christ says ““Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.”
It’s important to a knowledge he was speaking to people under the old Covenant, people who still attempted to receive justification through their works of the Law.
No! Then therefore let’s consider again what Paul says to Christian’s in Galatians 3:24-25:
“So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.”
1 John 1:8:
“If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.”
Also to the point made about interpreting Romans 7:6’s “written code” (“gramma” in the Greek) as “the old life of slavery to sin,” that goes against Paul’s use of the same exact word in the same Book in Romans 2:27-29 where Paul says:
The one who is not circumcised physically and yet obeys the law will condemn you who, even though you have the written code {gramma} and circumcision, are a lawbreaker.
Many things not right.. I bet if you're teaching pure Jesus of Gospel..
John 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
_Paul's teachings are wrong._
_Paul is a hypocrite (especially when he comes to speak of the law)._
1 Corinthians 9:20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
1 Corinthians 9:21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
Definition of hypocrite
1: a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion
2: a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings
_He claims to have “became” … “as under the law” and then “as without law” which puts on a false appearance and acts in contradiction to his stated beliefs or feelings._
_(Paul is a confessed hypocrite by the very definition of the word.)_
So He fulfilled it because nobody else can so stop making people try
Just want to mention that Lord is pagan “god” talk. Great video though👍🏽👏🏽🙏🏽🔥
We are not bound by the law for righteousness. We are made righteous thru Christ, unlike the Old Testament, which were made right by following the
law, which most failed.
@KeepingWatch95
So are you saying that Paul is a false apostle??
Amen.”
Some of his writings are hard to understand, but here Peter attests to the fact that he is a beloved brother and apostle.
@@MK4Hisglory (edited) _I of myself can not say Paul is a false apostle. Jesu however can.
_In the last chapter of Matthew Jesus' instructions and foretelling to his discples, reveal that within Paul's letter to the Galatians, Paul made a very false claim to being sent to the Gentiles, likewise in Romans Paul falsely claimed to be the apostle to the Gentiles._
_Now you perhaps wish Peter to give Paul a open check (as it were) to cover any and all that Paul might ever say._
_Even though the leters entitles 1st & 2nd Peter does not even say what subject matter it may be about concerning Paul. Peter would have likely never written such a endlessly broad letter of confirmation. (Many modern scholars today believe 1st & 2nd Peter to be frauds._
_However let's assume that 1st and 2nd Peter are not frauds._
_Jesus is the Messiah and he is beyond making errors. Peter is just a man and is indeed subject to making errors._
_And it is Jesus' teachings disprove Paul.
_I'd say that to believe Jesus is the Messiah and beyond error is not going down a rabbit hole._
_Jesus' instructions and foretelling disproved Paul's claims before Paul ever made them._
People who dismiss Yahushua and eventually the entire Bible, after dismissing Paul is because they never belived in Yahushua and the entire Bible to begin with.
Paul comes up anothe way.
John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, *He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.*
John 10:2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

Why can't you just say Jesus.
