I also recommend turning the Spencer-Kim-Lewis house into a community space or arts centre. I've added a computer room, a dining room where you can hire a caterer, a nightclub, a bar, a photo studio and media room and I put the photos up on the wall as a hall of fame of who has been there when I take them. I also added a cinema room where they can watch movies or tv in groups and some stalls in the front garden. It's a really cool thing for meeting other Sims. It's a great lot for this and has lots of room for community play.
I’m definitely considered a veteran as someone who has played since the sims 2 days yet I swear you would think I’m brand new to this from the amount that I don’t know about this game lmao
Always welcome is the first reward. I cheat it in. That way my sim can go to family and make dinners for hollidays or cook dinner for a romantic setting or cook for impoverished sims. You can cook at home and bring it but it adds realism to do it on site

Talking about fires, I think it was really weird that I was once with my wizard Sims on a club meeting, the thing is that one of them casted the inferno spell on the radio (because casting spells was part of the club activities but I never expected that would happen). The thing is that since I was aware of their existence, I always use the fire alarm and sprinklers system in all of my houses, however, since the fire started and the wizard who casted inferno also knew the congelatio spell to put down the fire, but weirdly enough, he couldn't cast the spell. Later I realized that for some reason, you can't actually do anything to the fire to extinguish it if you have the sprinklers and have to wait until they work. Or at least that happened to me.

It's actually a bit silly, but I have turned of emotional deaths in my game... I don't like when my sims die of other reasons than high age. 😅 I got surprised when I happened to kill a keg party guest during winter time when playing in a student home with the party room on the second floor with outdoor stairs... 🙄

My sims always get struck by lightning.. lots... till one day just one hit.. and my sim was killed 🤯 so all my sims are indoors when there’s a lightning storm lol 💜💯🇦🇺

Before i got the sims 4 on my computer i played the Sims 3 on a friend's so really i have been playing for about 7 years.
I avoid fires on my kitchen by cooking only salads until my sim's cooking skill developes. The worse the stove is, the longer my sim eats just salads🤣
