That “Memory” system would be so good is instead of just inheriting the mood, it inherited a specific moodlet from the screenshot… like if wedding had “recently married” happy 10+ moodlet, sim reminiscing would get a “remembering marriagw” happy 8+ moodlet

I knew all of the above, but I'll be linking this video to some newbie friends who will love learning these things.:) Did you know that if you set a bed as head, other sims can woohoo in it? hehe All the postcards are from Sims 3 locations. :) You can also use Set As Head to retrieve things the game has spawned just outside your lot. You can't select them, but you CAN set them as head. Then just walk back into your lot and reset your sim to put the object on your lot. Did you know that you can use trash fruits to fertilize your garden or for bait when fishing? I once evolved my entire garden up to Perfect by fertilizing with just trash fruit. I did it with just one trash plant. They spawn six fruits a day, so I got all I needed from just the one. :D Did you know that if a trash plant sprouts outside the boundary of your lot, you won't be able to select it to delete it, but if your sim is at least 5th level in gardening, you can take two cuttings from it in a row, and it will kill it. This actually works on any plant. When I was trying to complete my plants collection a few years ago, I couldn't find Grow Fruit trees, because they were only available during a challenge from back in 2016. (This was before Seasons came out and you could get them from a rare seed packet, or kiosk with City Living, and I didn't want to use debug. Too cheaty. haha.) However, I read that they'd been all over the park in Willow Creek during the challenge. So I used the two cuttings in a row method of killing plants in the wild, to slaughter all the plants I could find in the park, to force the game to spawn new plants... and since the old Grow Fruit spawners were still there, eventually the park spawned a few Grow Fruit trees. A few days later I was able to harvest them. :)

I used 40 seconds of onlyabidoang's footage. Less than 40 seconds from XFreezerBunnyX and Petey Plays It. The rest is all of my own footage that took many hours to capture in game. So, no. It wasn't just as simple as adding my voice to it. But, thanks for dismissing my hard work.
It really does give a new perspective to the game. It was one of those "Nothing else to do, let's try something weird" things one of the devs did. First-person wasn't even on the things-to-do list. But what I really appreciate is they did follow up after its initial release with a bit of tweaking to make it friendlier to those susceptible to motion sickness. One thing I do love about it is it gives me a new angle to view my builds. To both really appreciate what I created and see how it can be improved. It might just get some more traction with the new Home Decorator Pack, when you can look through your decorator's eyes and really get a view as to what you want to do with a place.
I actually didn't know this until I was looking into features for this video! It's such a cute little detail, but yeah ahaha I almost never have pools for my Sims either 😂
@@CatchyCher There is a very good reason for not having a swimming pool : It's deadly for your Sims. Even Sims with 10 fitness tend to drown. Sometimes, almost immediately after getting in the pool.

HERE'S A CHEAT FOR PEOPLE WHO CHEAT: Money (Number) it sets it to whatever amount of money you want. As a console player who hates spamming motherlode, then it's great.

You type "testingcheats on" and then after you enabled the cheats, you type "Money 1000" and hit enter. Here's a reminder this wouldn't make it 1345, it would make it 1000. Same thing if you want less money. Let's say I wanted 345 when I had 1000. I'd type "Money 345". I'm pretty sure the max is 999,999,999.

No, the game isn’t that great and I wouldn’t put it on a pedestal. It takes years to add what the community wants and all EA really wants is money. It feels like they just did sloppy work with the sims4, the sims 3 and 2 have effort put into them and u can see it. While yes the sims4 is a good game and enjoyable, there’s still so much elements missing that we either asked for, need, or things from previous sims games that we’re actually so good but ditched in sims4
Okay but I recently found out that you can actually put things in those weird shrines that are way to big to be put on other objects in base game. I was shocked, I never realised I could do that but to be fair it was written in the object description

I built a small house, kitchen, dining, living and bed were in same room, bathroom enclosed. I found the digital sketchpad very handy... specially after getting my creativeness up... my character is always energetic and great mood after browsing books
I learned about left handedness using a mod that can add traits, I was cycling threw them to find there was a left handed thing, I'd use the mod to see which hand my sims use.
For guis with sims on ps4: first person mode works, if you press R3 long. Just .. just a tipp. My sister found it out … she never played sims and axedenntly pressed it 😅 : xD

Hi Great Video! At the 6:52 time, when you are talking about randomizing sims, that's my favorite sim! I got him randomized and named him Travis Woods. I mean that makes me think that the randomized sims aren't that random. He was exactly the same down to the sunglasses and clothes and everything. Crazy, Sims 4.
I remember for first time I called off wedding the relationship go bad but there was still option to marry(on top right notification pop that they are enemies or something like that) I was joking around what if they get married and they actually did! I think it was bug in game but I was laughing all day

The trash plant... I accidentally got a few. There are times when you may have some hidden trash piles laying around your yard... By the way, those CAN evolve and can also die.
@@CatchyCher I just intentionally made one JUST to have it evolve up to «perfect». Now, I only need to treat it the same as the rest of my garden : Water it, remove the weeds, kill the bug infestations and fertilize.
I now have a «perfect» trash plant. I can sell it's fruit for $3. Don't smell any better, don't taste any better. A FAR cry from those perfect dragon fruits that sell for 695 EACH !
theres one thing that i only figured out recently, i had been going out of my way to build walled in areas placing tiles and deleting the walls just to get certain shapes for my flooring tiles. turns out the entire time i could have pressed control+F and placed half tiles. i was soo pissed XD i had so much trouble with that!

I built a small house, kitchen, dining, living and bed were in same room, bathroom enclosed. I found the digital sketchpad very handy... specially after getting my creativeness up... my character is always energetic and great mood after browsing books

I learned about left handedness using a mod that can add traits, I was cycling threw them to find there was a left handed thing, I'd use the mod to see which hand my sims use.

For guis with sims on ps4: first person mode works, if you press R3 long. Just .. just a tipp. My sister found it out … she never played sims and axedenntly pressed it 😅 : xD

Hi Great Video! At the 6:52 time, when you are talking about randomizing sims, that's my favorite sim! I got him randomized and named him Travis Woods. I mean that makes me think that the randomized sims aren't that random. He was exactly the same down to the sunglasses and clothes and everything. Crazy, Sims 4.

How did you spin the easel all the way round ??
You hold the alt key and left click the object to rotate it. You can hold alt and click the < or > key to rotate objects. I hope this helps!! ❤😅

I remember for first time I called off wedding the relationship go bad but there was still option to marry(on top right notification pop that they are enemies or something like that) I was joking around what if they get married and they actually did! I think it was bug in game but I was laughing all day

if you’re using sims 3 camera mode i’ve read you have to use ctrl+0 and ctrl+9 that could be why?
Back in 2016 when I started playing the sims, the first plant I got was a trash plant, and that was the day I played for the first time XD

Been playing since 1 and I also didn't know about the roof. (And a few others) I was playing earlier and now I need to go back and play around a bit.
Whenever I learn anything new about TS4 I always need to go right away and test it in game, so I feel this 😂
I accidentally set the mailbox as my sims head during woohoo and it terrified me, it also reset him and put him in the T-pose thing

The trash plant... I accidentally got a few. There are times when you may have some hidden trash piles laying around your yard... By the way, those CAN evolve and can also die.

Now, I only need to treat it the same as the rest of my garden : Water it, remove the weeds, kill the bug infestations and fertilize.
I now have a «perfect» trash plant. I can sell it's fruit for $3. Don't smell any better, don't taste any better. A FAR cry from those perfect dragon fruits that sell for 695 EACH !

theres one thing that i only figured out recently, i had been going out of my way to build walled in areas placing tiles and deleting the walls just to get certain shapes for my flooring tiles. turns out the entire time i could have pressed control+F and placed half tiles. i was soo pissed XD i had so much trouble with that!
Ohhhh yes, I didn't know that one for a very long time and I was very excited to build when I did discover it 🙌 It's crazy how much useful stuff is hidden away in TS4
