Jeremy has that consummate skill of always keeping his voice just under the threshold of what you were expecting, so you could hear that lovely lilting timbre. Just gorgeous.
I think about Jeremy quite often, I miss him, his smile, his crazy laughter, his incredible voice, oh could he sing, and he was an incredible actor but most of all he was a kind and generous man with a heart of gold. How I miss him, the world isn't near as bright a place with him gone. Rest well, you're loved by millions.
What he could not? He could sing, act (Sherlock Holmes, My Fair Lady, etc) and good looks. R.I.P Jeremy Brett. (I'm sorry if my English is not correct.I have only two years of English at school.)
Can’t you hear the vibrato and limited range ? Bill Shirley was a better singer.Had they left in the voices of Jeremy and Audrey, the film would have been like a high school effort.Marni Nixon and Bill Shirley actually enhanced the looks of Hepburn and Brett and they both should have been grateful.
Thanks to Britbox tv channel, I found Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes a few months ago. I don't know if this series was not shown in the US, or if I just didn't come across it, but since I have spent some good time researching Jeremy Brett. I don't know how you found all your wonderful material, but I am so glad you did. I knew he could sing, but was unaware of how well he sang! Why on Earth did they dub him in "My Fair Lady" ??
@eriksmuse We miss him so much we too! My self..my girls too! Miss him desperately...but we beliewe..we will meet again! We have all hims films! Such a man! Such a.HUMAN bean! Love you for ever Jeremy...
Well, do you know that cigarettes do change one's voice to some degree, and that some singers smoke deliberately to change/improve their voice. And Jeremy's voice too beautiful, it's really a joy listening to him!
You mean for My Fair Lady? I heard they dubbed him because he was a tenor and the songs were written for an alto, or something like that. I'm sure there's an undubbed version floating around on youtube though ...
God I can not believe just how TALENTED the man was. I mean, how many of today's stars have a voice like this?! Incredible...
What an utterly beautiful voice he had. The man had some remarkable talent,

What a very...multi-talented actor. Versatile. Sensitive. Handsome. The best Sherlock Holmes...SINGER.... A charming Renaissance Renaissance MAN
Well. I knew Jeremy about months ago and I'll never be able to explain how much I love this man. Such a treasure he was 💙

RIP Dear Jeremy! Gone but never forgotten 🎻🎩 💕
Beautiful.thank you
What a pleasure this was to hear! A gorgeous, romantic baritone, reminds me a little of musical theater actor Davis Gaines. I love this tribute.
Jeremy has a beautiful voice for a beautiful man👌🏻😍
I wish more of his singing was recorded. So rich and wonderful
Wonderful. Thank you!

They wanted a tenor voice, and he is a baritone.
@@davidallen508 He's much better in The Merry Widow. Wonderful diction too.
Lovely....!!! Thanks for this playlist....
i never knew he could sing - wonderful! 😄
Thanks from the buttom of our hearth from sharing this video! Thank you sou much-! It means so much for us.....
Why the heck did they dub Jeremy in MFL?! With a warm, baritone voice like that - how could they ignore it?
This is genuinely enchanting. Thankyou for putting it together so beautifully. I'm going to try to find the CDs now!
Sing it Sherlock.
I LOVE HIM !! xxxxx

it was shown in the U.S. in the 1980s - loved it then, love it now!
I actually first saw the show on PBS in the 2010s so it has been shown a few times in the US. My favorite Sherlock

"Such a wealth of enchantment"
=)
Why the hell would he need dubbing? I had read that he was a good singer, and I can see that he really was. What was the story behind that decision?
The producers wanted a tenor voice, he was a baritone.
I don't find the story of "Marigold" on the web. Someone can Tell me??? And can we find cd of Jérémy Brett??? In France, i don't find 😢.Thanks😃
Jeremy Brett ✨🤍✨👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
@meb28 I agree with you. They just dubbed Jeremy just so Audrey wouldn't feel so bad...
그가 가고없는 세상에서 그를 경애하며 제게는 불멸의 아티스트로 살아있습니다 사랑해요 제레미
Are all these pictures and songs from movies? And if so, are there any that you would recommend? :) LOVELY VIDEO!
Jeremy Brett ✨🤍👏👏👏👏👏👏 Stunning Talented Precoiusidad Wonderfullllllll Charming Hot Charisma
honestly, does anyone know why they dubbed him in My Fair Lady?
According to other comments I've read, they wanted someone with a higher tone.

He was a baritone.
Let's hope there's an un-dubbed version out there somewhere. It would be lovely to hear his own voice singing "On The Street Where You Live".
@@melissabarrett9750 saaaaaaame!!!! I can only hope that they find or release an undubbed version of My Fair Lady maybe for the 90th anniversary!
Brett was a baritone, and Freddy's songs were written for tenor.
Do you have the full album of Marigold? I can't find it anywhere :(
Did he make record albums? Anybody know?
Not that I am aware of. But he is featured on Johnny the Priest (available on RUclips)
I am not implying that he did it
Someone do an AI version of Brett singing My Fair Lady
please no
you are kidding, right
