Hi, quick question, would steam’s remote play together register an emulated controller from another computer as a controller instead of a keyboard if installed on the second pc? Then being able to play local multiplayer with remote play together for games that require a controller for a second player?
Yes that's just normal. I don't have a proper solution. So I just create a keymapping and then create another one that uses different keys from the previous one. Then use two keyboards with each different keys. So i don't press the same button on both keyboards.

Each games have different ways. But usually, when you go to the local multiplayer lobby, just press start button or button A (the button you assigned to start or to A). Then the 2nd player will join. The game does tell you what to press though.

Yeah you have to bind the mouse as well as you did with the keyboard. I didn't cover that in this video because it's kinda harder than the keyboard. But I guess it's time for another tutorial.

Wait! There might be a way. There is a program I use called AltController and it's for people with physical disabilities to play some games. If you use it along with the Virtual Joystick you might possibly be able to make it do that.

You can install 2 vxbox controllers. Then setup the key bindigs for both of them. But don't put the same keys for both of them. Then plug in 2 keyboards and there you go.

No no. Imagine a 2 player game that requires a controller for the second player and the keyboard is for player 1. You can use virtual controller for player 2 and the keyboard for player 1 at the same time. I use this method very often.
@@randomclip174 oh right. Let's say keyboard player uses space. If you bind space to virtual controller and press space, both players will react. That's the most common problem virual controller has. I usually use two or more virtual controllers to avoid this problem. But I still haven't solved this. I guess it's time to do some research and find a solution for this.
