Hi guys, I built a portable console using an old pc keyboard and lever joystick. You can drop all the video games of the past such as playstation, nes, snes, mame, sega genesis, game boy and all the consoles of the past with a cost of only 20 €. Just have a smartphone and install the emulators and then connect this special Jostick and you can play infinity

That was a really cool build. I've had a great idea to match but don't have the resources. Essentially it's using two fighter pilot joysticks[for like ace combat or something] side by side one for left and right hands each . So as to completely change the way pvp gaming is played. In games like Call of duty, pubg, even destiny anything involving shooting . Give a more hands on control as opposed to using your finger tips and thumbs to do everything
Thanks for good idea
Love the controller you’ve made, but even more impressive to me is that mini saw: looks cool af
> _"but even more impressive to me is that mini saw: looks cool ..."_
6:47 yeah, wow. super nice :)
I'm starting in electronics, you have good videos but it would be perfect better explained, for example I don't know how you connected the buttons, you can't see it, but well maybe they are not tutorials but exhibitions.
Maybe he wanted it to be languageless
Bhai ne shrif idea Diya hai Jo samaj gya vo bana lega meri traha bhot easy hai lekin itna clean nahi bana paunga @@crimsonkarma13
10:19 you should be more patient in this part bro and show you how to connect each wire in its proper place!
well, there is no denying that he made a work of gamer art, although with the money perfectly enough for a gamepad, the work is wonderful and pleasing to the eye
Not really, if you are in fixing things most of those materials are readily available to you. Sure you won't be able to meet the quality of his project, but an old broken arcade joysticks, pc keyboards, otg connectors, a phone holder and some pieces of wood and metal will be lying around your lab.
Arcade Joysticks Bluetooth Gamepads for android phones are expensive af. Only Bluetooth PlayStation type gamepads are cheap
I want the same thing for my android tv
DUDE, I LOVE YOU!
Without this video I would have thought to make a controller using maybe arduino or something similar. Now I see he possibility to use either keyboard or gutted controller to make a own custom one. Now I need to think how to make it bluetooth and rechargeable. Been dreaming up a phone case controller with controlled angle. Imagine a 3ds without bottom screen and 2 embedded analog sticks. That is my goal.
I will try using a 8bitdo wireless controller as sacrifice to use on Switch
Greetings sir from Colombia
sir congratulations for such a good tutorial
Sir, what are the chances that you will sell me that little toy? I will buy it for you and you tell me how I can buy it. Greetings from Colombia
From now on I'll be your fan! I have seen many diy stuff from this video like that machine you use to cut the wood
3:56 I would like to understand how I tested the keys if the board was not connected
Great stuff!
A big tablet would be even better for this...
Awesome workbench setup! I love the Socket A and at least one Slot A mainboards! This video is an inspiration to make my own arcade pad, but I would probably use the guts of an XBOX compatible controller. Your homemade jigs and tools also give me some ideas for my own projects.
For 11.99 on eBay you can buy a usb to arcade joystick kit , it includes all the buttons and a really good arcade stick, it’s plug and play , you just need to mount it to a piece of scrap wood , this seems like loads of work to achieve the same thing , I’ve built arcade machines for less than 70.00 uk pounds using parts from China
You can buy the usb encoders for $5 if you dont feel like hacking apart a keybaord
Bonasera!
Thank You for great vid. Do You think it' would be possible to make 2 player version from this keyboard driver? I'm dreaming of making arcade for small ,tall and round expresso table
I love it's
Eccellente! TOP 👍👍👍
very nice what you created, i remember playing wonder boy on the very old PC with floppy disc, good memories
Love it. The only thing I would change is a larger bracket so that I could use a tablet.
Bellissimoooo... poi stai giocando uno dei miei preferiti.
I'm a big believer in re-using old components, however...
They sell joystick "kits" that include the stick, buttons, a USB board, and cables for connecting everything. You still need to build a case, but everything else just plugs in.
Yeah but those joysick kits just came from old keyboard ics aswell.
@@euvo_sound You mean they use the same chips, or that the ICs were literally taken from old keyboards? Either way, I'm not aware of any of them identifying themselves as keyboards when plugged in.
@@lurkerrekrul Any kind of controller/joystick identifies itself as Keyboard if you plug it in.
Can you please explain how to wire up
Smart !
As someone who plays on arcade sticks all the time, this is the most painful build I've ever seen. Those screws in any game that uses heavy use of the joy stick will have their hands grinding on those screws. Those nub buttons seem interesting, and I'm also not sure why you went with 4 button layout instead of the standard 6 button. On every system you're missing buttons except the NES. It does look pretty though. I'm a fan of the case and nubs. The buttons and lever look like knockoff buttons instead of proper arcade buttons. Like knock off Suzo Happ. What's worse is that you have industrial level gear so there's absolutely no excuse that you cheaped out on this equipment
Can you please give it to me?
Bro IAM trying to make this but I don't understand wire connection 😭 please tell me.....
You would've saved a lot of time if you bought a arcade encoder. They're between $5 to $10 bucks now. You don't need a ipac that cost $70.
100%💐👍
😘
What emulators did you use?
I did this 10-years ago,
and you are making now😅,
no special Equipments,
just a soldering iron and and switches.
Not worth it now it's just Junk. Smartphones are not meant to be Gaming Devices I'm terribly Sorry smh.
Nice Device but one Flaw in my Opinion.... The L, R (SNES) Buttons or Z, C (Mega Drive, Genesis) would be nice if they were in one Row. 6 Buttons instead of 4. I Think it would be great with RetroArch. And Cloud Gaming. Some Games with L2, R2 Buttons... Needs 2 extra Buttons on This/Your Device. But for Oldschool Gaming PERFECT "SHO RYU KEN"
Damn, I hate "tutorials" with no speech and with loud background music.
Could use a SNES joy stick big ass square thing I use to have instead?
Wow just wow ❤.
Amazing work ❤.
I wonder is possible to make the same think and transfer to a gaming pad a gaming controller like ps5 for example this keyboard?
Instead making joystik box from scratch..why not using unused or broken old ps1 or ps2 stick?? Still connect the wire from old broken keyboard pcb..tho very good idea
Me. Who's just watching and don't have a plan of making
Can you make a finger control through which you can control the GAME OF PUBG Mobile (through fingers without pressing any button)?
It is possible to press 3 or 4 buttons at the same time? for playing fighting games (like KOF2002 ⬇️↘️➡️ A+B+C+D)
I've never had the money to do the build I want, but I know exactly what book this guy read.
Dude the highlight of this video was the vacuum cleaner, followed in second place by table saw, and of course, gaming device. Just saying 👌🏼
Wow, good job.
As same idea, can you change Playstation controller to be keyboard, I can not play with playstation controller, I am used to play with keyboard.
Solo una parola :
SPETTACOLARE 😉✌️
@@DanieleTartaglia 😅😅👍. Sei troppo forte. Li meriti tutti i complimenti.
Paperon de Paperoni o Rockerduck?.... chi preferisce ArchimedeDT?
Someone that makes his own tools can make anything, Matter of fact, this reminds me of an American Quote "America was built with Hard working Men and Good Tools."
I've made myself a very similar controller, but 6 buttons on top and L/R on parallel. It has a turbo button too... But the painting, oh god, is so messed up!
How exactly is this "incredible" ?
Just attaching a usb keyboard/joystick would do it.
Çok güzel bir çalışma olmuş. Elinize sağlık!
Game will end when the phone's battery is dead, awesome! 🥰🥰👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
In realtà mi interessa solo giocarci a flipper.
Thinking about doing this with a perfect Galaxy S5 I have and this video pops up on my suggestions
Great but from a recommended viewer, I wish you would’ve explained a bit more on what you’re doing, but awesome video
Great video 👍🔔 New friend Happy New Year 🎆
Man watching this I can't even fix tringle button from old PS3 controller😅
hah!! This is better 😲 than Arduino projects. bro😎
Excellent project. I liked it
14:00 That's not Sonic 2 💀Is Sonic 3 & Knuckles
5:48 _[sheet bending on transparent plastic]_
wow, what is material of this sheet? acrylic? and what is that apparatus for its bending called?
Great!!! Thanks! But why not arduino pro micro?))))
Idkw when people get easier we ways they like to stress them self with old stuffs for no reason
EXCELLENT WORK YOU WIN ONE MORE SUBSCRIBER AND ALREADY I LIKED THE VIDEO, APPLICABLE IF THIS BOARD ARCADE GAVE A SMARTPHONE THEN IT WILL ALSO BE COMPATIBLE WITH TV BOX THANKS
I imagine every keyboard is different...
an old keyboard ???? do you know that an arduino is super small and easy to program as a HID usb controller
just saying
This called perfection
Brazil!
no more touchpads destroyed by hardcore gamers, LOL
Exelente!!!! Un muy buen proyecto. Saludos desde argentina.
why did you use transparent acrylic when you were going to paint it black anyways?
Very nice. It took me to my childhood. can i buy this?
I think some tablet for screen will be better solution.. But project is great! :)
Wonderful ! Thanks! Does it play world of tanks?
Numero UNO!! Tartaglia numero UNO…numero UNO…Tartaglia numero UNO.
Does this is available in market for sale....!
I want to purchase..
That’s super awesome 👏
BRAVO!!!
Hello sir can you make one of this for me😂
can we use this with PC ?
What happens when you cut down your use of social media significantly.
Amazing work.
Tuyệt cời
Great Job! Your the Man! Now all you need to do is make another one so we can challenge Street Fighter! lol
Hello friend, do you have the diagram of that saw to cut wood? (6:52)
Incredible work and effort done by you. I have been dreaming of making my own arcade joystick USB version to play my favourite street fighter, mario etc at home but I dont have all the tools. I was wondering that if I bring all these tools and achieve my dream, then what will I do with that setup afterwards :-D
Soldering iron, solder wire, flux and thin wires are the only tools that you need, really. I've made my own DIY stick for PC from Quantum PC gamepad. 😁 Soldering on PCB is hard for a noob like us and you might give up as well but come back at it another day and you'll get to know how to do it. It'll give you an immense sense of achievement Neeraj. #delhiteHere ;)
Made it to play Tekken 7. Works great! FEELS GREAT!
