  • THE CURATOR is the achievement in Lingo for finishing the gauntlet of puzzles that is the Afterword. Endgame content found in the Infinite Staircase (well, okay, it has no official name, but that sounds cool), the Afterword is a sequence of rooms with randomized puzzles, that are never the same (but will have the same gimmicks) on every run.
The first room starts out simple, with a middle blue, a top white, and a middle red. Typically, the answers to the blue and red will have the clue or answer be consecutive in the word.
The second room is three rhyming puzzles like what you'd find in Level 1's Rhyme Room: one is an antonym, one is a category, and one is a synonym.
The third room has four main puzzles. On one wall, there's a puzzle where two different puzzles become the clues for a third: an orange cipher puzzle is contained in the word, and a black antonym puzzle is what it rhymes with. On the other wall, there are three other puzzles: one is a puzzle where you have to name something in the same category, the next is a reference to any middle puzzle from Level 1, and the third is a puzzle like what you'd find in Level 1's The Bearer, where you remove letters to make a word and then scramble that word.
The fourth room is three fake-out puzzles, where you have two puzzles that don't work and one that does. These come in middle black, middle red, and middle yellow variants before you can progress.
The fifth "room" is a painting maze where you have to go into the paintings you've seen throughout the gauntlet to progress, or get sent back to the start. That's right, there's some memory involved with this!
The sixth and final room is a room that has four inputs making four words. Every word in the final answer will have two things hinting towards it, throughout the four inputs: a middle white, a middle black, a bottom white, and a middle yellow. There's some surprisingly weird tricks to figuring this one out.
Did I mention that this was on a time limit? Yeah. I'm surprised I managed to complete it in only 6 minutes, to be honest.
