As we toured the property, it was easy to realize how elevated and private this modern home felt considering it is in a dense neighborhood. Beautiful finishes with modern details through out. White stucco finish and wood cladding creates a perfect balance of modern exterior finish. Open floor plan through out really maximizes the use of the space as well as making the house flow from room to room. My favorite part of the home were the backyard space, guest house and the roof top deck. Considering its size, they made the best of backyard space by building an above ground pool. Guest house (Adu) was a big surprise as we realized house spacious it was. 3 bedroom 2 bath lay out made us feel like we were touring another home within the same lot. Rooftop was final touch that really took our breaths away. It is so high up that it clear all the neighbors around and gets a perfect view of the city through out. On a clear day you can easily see Downtown Los Angeles. This home is a prime example of a real estate development and I am very happy that we were the first one to tour and showcase this property.
Cheviot Hills is a neighborhood of single-family homes on the Westside of the city of Los Angeles, California.Founded in 1924, the neighborhood has been the filming location of countless movies and television shows due to its convenient location between Fox Studios and Sony Studios. The neighborhood features several homes by prominent architects, such as the Strauss-Lewis House by Raphael Soriano and the Harry Culver Estate, designed by Wallace Neff. According to The New York Times, Cheviot Hills is bounded by the northern limits of the Rancho Park Golf Course and the Hillcrest Country Club to the north, Patricia Avenue and Manning Avenue to the west and southwest, and Beverwil Drive and Castle Heights Avenue to the east and southeast.(Wikipedia)

I would definitely buy the home if i could. I love how the backyard space is leveled out. The guest house is perfect for family visits who stay the night. Theres also enough room for events and family time fun. I love it.

I've watched a lot of house tour, and by far this is the most livable I guess. Because some houses looked like they're only meant for magazines and not for people. Lol. I loved the idea of separate guests house for privacy. Very clever.

One thing I've noticed in a lot of the new homes that are being built around LA is, when It comes to the style of the home and "Backyard space" it's really not built for your traditional family and people with small children anymore. It's all about entertaining adults and drinking. Now I myself don't have any children yet, but I do miss seeing the type of homes I grew up with that had a FULL SIZE garage where you can park 2 or more Full Size cars/SUV and still have more than enough room for yard tools & other equipment. Also having a FULL SIZE backyard with wall to wall grass where you can run around outside and play soccer or throw a football. Now so many homes that are being built have very small 2 or 3 car garages and strange layouts for what is now called backyard space. Of course it does depend on the land the home was built on, there may not be enough space but its still a nice to have. But the point is so many builders have really changed over the past 10-15 years from what it use to be.
I feel you and you have a good point. LA is a flashy town so demand is more towards homes that are slick with more entertaining areas rather than grass.
I like the "little" details on this. To the wide staircase to the raised floor under tub. Even though it's just a room love the extra room onside of the closet for etc. Then u have the ADU just wow. Entire separate home itself.

That intro was so well done and showed exactly the best features of this house, I had to pause and tell you I LOVE IT.
I just now saw this video an I know it is 2 years old but I need to comment anyway. This property was a steal at that price point. 2 homes for the price of 1. Both are absolutely gorgeous. Like you I love the wide staircase that is a dream. The layout, colors, staging, just everything is perfect. The backyard with the raise pool, decking, being able to watch movies or whatever outside, roof top deck. This was someone's perfect home.
This is by far the best house and worth of money

That roof top deck! 😍 and the ADU might as well be it’s own unit. People usually do the minimal requirements but they went all out on this ADU. Supper gorgeous!
