Hello from Wisconsin. Again, a very refreshing video. Your commentary certainly dove tailed well into today's gospel readings. There is a large chasm between knowing God's Will and doing God's Will. Much of my prayer life tries to incorporate God's Will.with asking for the Grace to accomplish God's Will and NOT my will.
Thanks sir Ken and ma'am Janelle- so hard to know God's will it's like taking a step at a time, it's not shown holistically (like a map) by God but that's ok, if that's how God wants it.

It’s hard to understand everything said in church because I don’t know Latin. I’m reading the Bible but I fear my comprehension isn’t very good. So I hope my foundation isn’t built on sand. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Search for the latest, expensive versions of the worldly comforts of this life only as one's/ a family's major goal - oftentimes (though they likely will not voluntarily admit it!) at the expense of his/her/their neighbors - usually the less fortunate neighbors! Now, I may have the "unfair advantage" of being 60 years old, seeing/experiencing many things, being disadvantaged and poor, and being towards the usual "downsizing age ... but I have plenty of material comfort with what I have, and am daily prepared to help my neighbor in need when it's GOD's will and the opportunity presents itself. We all need to look outside of ourselves and have Jesus first, Other (s) next, and Yourself ( - in my case, myself) last ... true JOY!
WOW, Ken, you really through me a curve with the whole discussion on trying to improve your standard of living for yourself and especially your children! Gave me great pause to ruminate - this has been the mantra for every generation - leaving a better life for your kids, so hard to do when I already have been blessed materially through the grace of God. Actually this may be the first generation that falls behind both economically AND SPIRITUALLY! Sad - I have a lot of work to do - need a more meaningful definition of “better life”! Thanks for the reminder!

This made me think I’m not really letting go of the way things are going here and I need to excepting his well. I am so ill and God is nowhere. I am suicidal. It's easy to praise God when you think he's there - no rosaries etc have worked and I awake every hour in abject terror.

His will be done, His kingdom come...I pray that I know God's will in every part of my life. I fail in this very often. I ignore often what I feel I should do. Those "feelings" I believe are from God. May Jesus be merciful to me and forgive me. One of my daughters has been searching for a job for months. I pray she gets a job soon but I wonder if her struggle is the will of God to teach her the lesson of enough. She had a job that paid very well but she didn't put anything away for a rainy day. Now she is in a storm and frankly exhausted trying to make her bills and pay rent. In God's time.🙏 Thank you Ken, I like the way you teach. God bless you...😇🥰
