  • Ride through the Glendora mountains on a Moto Guzzi V7 during a beautiful Southern California Saturday afternoon.
This bike was recently purchased and equipped with an Arrow exhaust system, and although the baffles were cut out for better sound and breathing, the bike is still fairly quiet even with the sound turned up in editing.
    Ride safe and enjoy!

Great vid. And extra props for not including any music to it -- just a straight-up natural POV rider's experience. I so want a V7 now.

gosh that bike just radiates coolness! is the arrow exhaust alot louder than the stock one? the exhaust note seems lovely but i just dont want it to be too loud. i'm not a fan of waking up the entiere neighbourhood in the morning and i know that both agostini and mistral Silencers seem obnoxiously loud.

Light Yagami Thanks for watching. The Arrows are definitely quieter than the Mistrals. They are also louder than stock but very neighborhood friendly. I would suggest cutting the baffles to get a better sound as well. I cut out the baffles on mine and as you can hear, they are not loud at all.Ride safe.

Hey man great vid ! I love the look and the sound of that bike ! Does it feels like it has decent power in real life ? Cause the 52hp ( or 48 for the old version ) on paper is the only thing that keeps me from buying one honestly

hd339 the power that you do have is very usable. Been riding one since 2013 and it never gets boring.

    this is a great video!
i see here that you are using a chest mount for your gopro but what brackets are you using with it to get that much lift over the tank?
also how are you able to reduce the camera shake to almost nothing?

    • @romanr.3827

Thanks for watching. I am using the standard J-hook mount the harness came with. However, there are a few degrees of tilt backwards and forwards on the hook mount to allow the camera to adjust the shooting angle down or up.
I happen to have it tilted up to shoot above the tach and speedo.
The Gopro 3 does have some vibration reduction built into it, to automatically take out any vibration, and also, this road is very smooth which helps as well.

Nice video! Did you put the GoPro on your chest? I tried with my V7 and the suction cup mount on the tank but it's far too low and you almost only get the speedo framed...

Yes! GoPro actually has a chest harness available. I prefer this to helmet or suction mounts. I think Best Buy is having a sale on these for under 25 bucks.

I know but I was looking for a more static pov with the speedo. I'm working it out with a 3d printer :)

how tall are you? I am looking into the v7 and cannot decide between the racer and stone. I'm also 6'3 and concerned if I'm too tall for it.

    • @romanr.3827
      @romanr.3827  9 лет назад

Thank you for watching. I am a tad over 5'9". When standing over the bike, the heel of my boot is about an inch or two off the ground because the bike's stance is a bit high for me and may be an ideal height for someone a bit taller. However, I have read reviews of riders over 6' feeling a bit cramped on it (with some actually liking the compactness.) My best advice would be to try one on for size to get a good feel for what to expect, comfort-wise.
      Ride safe!

Just get a 2015 model. Those have quite a bit more legroom due to the repositioned engine
