The battery slows down near the end of charging:
1. To perseve the life of the battery.
2. Resistance is greater at higher charge percentages so it moves slower.
Really wish it had 45W charging. Also a truly fast wireless charging would be nice. What I mean by "truly fast wireless charging" is at least as fast wirelessly, as if I had the highest power/fastest speed brick and cable. Since wireless chargers require a cable anyway for the pad, if I'm low and I know I'll need some charge, I've been known to unplug the charging pad, and plug it straight into the cable.
Now that's innovation!
It feels not many people know that charging all the way to 100 percent isn't healthy for the battery, nor is letting it run all the way out
@@newchangeunlisted_viewer5594 Im sorry, but that is completely wrong with newer Lion Batteries. They actually should be charged to 100 percent every now & then, also they should be drained totally everynow and then, battery health is totally conditional of the charger quality.
I can agree, but battery life will last all day, its amazing. Upgraded from a LG i love it
@@MrPutrifyingEagor what? Are you thinking of old chemistry battery's that had a "memory effect?" Those were NiMH batterys, there not used in phone anymore. Charge cycles kill lithium ion battery a. The last 20% of charge does 50% of the damage. If you only charged to 80% and tryed to stay above 15%, the battery would last much, much longer. My sources for this are study's done on lithium ion batterys, so I'm not talking rubbish.
Edit: charger quality has nothing to do with battery health. Sure, a ultra fast charger will degradge battery's slightly faster, but theres not too much of a difference. Where are you getting this info???

1. It was Note series pinnacle so they stopped making new Notes
2. They DID move their focus on foldable as he guessed

3 months later, S22 ultra is coming out in feb , which is the hybrid of s series and note series. check it out

@jimmy Van rossen yeahh. Its awesome. I usually watch shows with my phone standing on the table as I eat. My old phone had volume button and power button on each sides. And back then when I adjust the volume, the phone goes of by itself cause of the pressure. Now, it doesn't. I freakin love this phone.

It could be down to their individual perspectives. Either way, Pro Mode lets you mess with the shutter speed.
Same thought, I was confused too but I think the shutter speed isnt a problem I think they’re just nitpicking 🤷🏻♂️

I absolutely love the edged corners, it gives it a more premium feel. I feel like the curved edges, while feeling better in the palm give it an almost cheap feel.

Rewatching after buying one and it's amazing. Battery is a minor flaw with the Exynos but the S pen is such a brilliant tool. Even when you're just messing around, photoshopping your mates faces on to funny pictures is so easy with it. Top phone
But the battery is still not that bad. I came from Note 9 to this ans couldn't be happier

Exynos 990 is a complete deal breaker mostly at this price (the same as S865+ version), it's a shame.

Been using the Note 20 Ultra for more than 2 years now since its first release. And indeed, it's like a perfect smart phone that even after these years, i couldn't justify the need of upgrading to the latest device. Perhaps the only complain is indeed the battery performance since my country, Malaysia get the exynos model.

Maybe it's the Exynos.. which is well known to be one of the worst current gen processors on the market ;) vs Sammy 'optimizations' of 3rd party SOCs. Exynos can perform well initially.. until some of the crappy sammy updates come. Got the same experience back in the day with my S6.. Initially the phone was zippy but after an year (3 to 4 updates) it started to crawl.. Samsung just can't make good software.. they need to disband their entire software division and hire new guys with fresh vision and better skillset.
When u realize that MKBHD has the Snapdragon variant while Boss has got the Exynos one 🤔

Great comment. Sony used to have sharp edge phones until they finally succumbed to the trend of rounded corners....which pissed me the hell off. I left Sony and the Xperia 5 I was considering to buy, and bought the Note 10.

Mahir 😉 not the point of my comment. The point of my comment is that every year the phones get bigger, but every year the reviewers say “it’s the perfect size. I wouldn’t make it smaller, and I wouldn’t make it any bigger”.
I guess the new note haven't increased it's size to its predecessor. For me 6" is enough for a mobile.
We still got 7" tablets and with new tablets offering the mid level budget phone specs, I guess now to a trend wise people will go to sleek and smaller smartphones. We are already starting to hate the bigger phones.

I just copped this phone, and to me it's the s23 ultra its Supa fast, camera straight, and it games, matter of fact I was gonna get to s22 ultra but after watching comparisons videos. I wanted the larger 6.9 and it has mts the rest is identical for me a guy like me
I've wish they just continue making the note line because it was a really good working phone for me, it help me with taking notes when I ran out of paper and how I loved editing pictures and videos with it

4 years later I can only came to conlusion that he was right. Looking back s20 ultra and note 20 ultra were the Peak of this brand.
I wonder if the people at Samsung are clueless about what EVERYONE thinks of their bloatware and all the crap they put on their phones or if they just choose to ignore all the reviews and people's comments. When are they finally do the right thing and make it as clean as a pixel phone? That's beyond me.

I know right? It makes no sense for Samsung to fill their phones with a bunch of samsung apps that most people don't use if they still use google apps. And unfortunately the cons on the note 20 ultra are exactly my pet peaves on a phone at that price. Something that costs over 1000 € shouldn't take "good photos" it should take great photos like the pixel or the iphone does.

Yes! We gettin 8GB RAM & 128GB in Pakistan. At the same price S20 ultra lte had 12GB RAM and even last years note 10 plus had 12GB RAM. Doesn't make that much sense.
