Should you really pay the same price for two different phones? It’s not “if”, it’s a fact that the Exonos is worse than the Snapdragon chip. Why is it acceptable that Samsung’s doing this and has *still* been doing it since what, the note 8? Note 9? It will be misleading to people looking at phone reviews, since most will probably feature the Qualcomm chip. If Google put a lower powered chip in the Pixel 4 in other regions or if Apple put an “A13L” or something chip in a certain region on the same phone the internet would be collectively bashing them. Why are we allowing Samsung to practically get away with false advertising?
What are they falsely advertising? They are advertising excellent performance and that is exactly what you're getting with snapdragon and with exynos. I dont know what you're talking about
Properso :D the performance is not the same... That’s like a computer shipping 3rd Gen Ryzen in America and 10th Gen Intel everywhere else. Sure, both offer “amazing performance” but one is clearly faster
@@propersod2390 the problem is the principle, you sell 2 different product, without saying it explicitly, and at the same price one is no better than a last gen phone and is sold like it is the same you could argue that the difference is minimal, but when you pay more than a grand for a phone, you should expect a nearly perfect product, not shady practice like this one

@Alejandro Fernandez-König 2 minutes on the website: "All prices on the website do not include customs fees and import sales tax of the respective recipient countries." You got lucky.
That's because Samsung went full iTard a several generations ago. They are copying every one of Apples "stupid" moves. From dropping features, to the camera knotch to out pricing the fan base. Samsung will drop all hardware buttons and the charging port when able does too. Just wait.
Yeah because the Nokia phones were smaller, the camera module area looks about the same and if anything it protrudes more in Note 20. Back then every reviewer mentioned how ugly those Nokia camera bumps were. Now most are apparently paid by Samsung since I don't see as many mentions.

I actually bought my Note 9 after seeing reviews on note 10. I own sony wh-1000xm3, but I tend to use the cable that these wireless headphones comes with, quite often. if my headphones run out of charge and my phone needs some battery juice, I can still enjoy my stuff I wish to hear , thanks to my litle awesome hero of the day - headphone jack. It's still a deal breaker for me. Although I need better camera now, I love my jack . And crappy processor for UK ? An insult . I love the S pen, but it feels like compromising on too much for it. How good was the Note 4? I said this when I upgraded to the Note 8 and it's the same now I have my Note 20 Ultra 5g Shiny Underpants Edition..They should release a Note 4 body/layout with current gen tech. The replaceable battery, the headphone jack, the screen aspect ratio, just upgrade the camera pack, chip/ram/storage and have that lovely 120hz refresh rate. At the time I said you could call it the Note 4.8 to reflect the upgrade, you'd sell even more of them now calling it the Note 4.20..
I have both the note 9 and the note 10+. Other than the finger print scanning and iris scanner and the lack of a jack, I haven't really miss my note 9 when I switched it. Its probably because of the newer updates I've been getting with the note 10+ that I haven't missed the note 9.

@@TheGoreforce I'm the same, my Note 9 is the 1 device that can do all that I want. My only concern is when the updates stop I'll be forced to look for a replacement or custom ROM's.
I'm still using the Note 9, everyday as well. Because its better! Watched both the note 10 and note 20 press conferences and just so disappointed. I was looking for a reason to upgrade but... Hate pinholes (well hate notches more), no headphone jack, a camera bump that makes my phone wobble. (I don't do screen cases). In the first couple weeks I damaged the back of my note 9 (glass). So covered it up after with a dbrand skin, which made it less slippery as well. Then a month after that dropped a drill on the screen. Cracks all up the side with glass falling out in bottom right corner. But that was 1.5 years ago and my note 9 is still ruining great. I'm considering getting the glass replaced at £120 quid shows how much I still love this phone. If only they'd made the note 20 less gimped it would have been perfect. Plastic body might actually be safer for me. Less screen bump. But needs an sd card slot. Also why not stick in a headphone jack (it is the budget one after all).
The iris scanner is quite bad with glasses on, but the rear fingerprint scanner works well. By the time I the iris scanner unlocks the phone (if I take my glasses off) it is usually already unlocked with a fingerprint.
Dbrand is amazing. They cost as much as any other case (in my country), but are much better. My first case had a minor production fault, and they immediately sent me a new one. But my country had gotten new customs rules so it could cost me $40 just to get a free replacement. Dbrand said "we dont want to inconvenience you, so if you get a customs invoice we'll just pay it for you". Freaking amazing customer service.
Best case is made by samsung per almost all utube reviewers. It's called the rugged. It looks amazing, has 4 corner raised edges to protect the screen, rubberized grip, extends slightly over the camera edge to protect the lenses and has 2 , yes 2 kickstands.
@@mikkelstormhansen9733 you must not know which case I am talking about. It's not bulky but IS considered the best protective case made. Also, maybe you don't use a stand but I DO ! To each their own.
I think they purposefully made the big camera bump for the same reason Apple wants to make all airpods that q-tip look and color: they wanted to make it a distinguisable product. I personally don’t own one, but I don’t think I would mind the camera bump.
@@manthe3711 Well, you don't really need a massive battery if it's really power efficient. Traded in my S10+ for the Note20 Ultra, the difference between the 2 is amazing. The edge detection on the Note is far superior and in general the daily use of the Note just feels better, a lot of that may be due to the increase in refresh rate of the screen. The decrease in pen latency is a huge difference as well if that's one of your selling points, obviously not perfect and can't wait for another major improvement, but feels more like a viable tool now. The price is absolutely prohibitive though, but if you have the option to do a trade in, I absolutely would recommend.

Quick rear fingerprint scanner, no camera bump, headphone jack. Superior product all the way.

The price is absolutely prohibitive though, but if you have the option to do a trade in, I absolutely would recommend.
I went Note 9 to Note 10+ and loved it never really used the iris scanner and the headphone jack so those did not bother me so much recently went to the note 20 ultra for my daily driver and put the note 10 Plus on a secondary line with a different carrier. I got in the habit of using the Note when I was a supervisor it allowed me to keep tabs on my employees for my weekly reports they made me do. When i left that job I just kept getting them and still use the s-pen regularly.

Note 20 Ultra is the last Galaxy to offer MST and an SD Card slot, so I got a used one in 2022 June for $740 after taxes, Mystic Black 512GB and I love it, I carry a iPhone 12 Pro Max and the Note now, the Note comes in clutch all the time when I go to Home Depot, USPS or other places where they don’t have NFC, I’m upset that Samsung has dropped MST, they should’ve dropped in in 2030 when more stores have NFC already

It's happened to me a couple of times where you're talking about a topic and you kinda start looking things up in the background so you can keep talking and make sure you're not being ignorant by saying something that's completely wrong. I can see many of those searches just come up in a casual conversation (except maybe the dance one lol)
Why indians are required by law to always talk where they’re from? Jesus.
Still rocking my Note 9 and plan to for another 1-2 years at least.
Same here. Might switch to note 20 ultra after the new one comes out
@rvidal0001 Root.
I'm still rocking the Note 8. I'm probably gonna grab the 20 Ultra
Just don't update it though, they don't take time to optimize for older devices. The eventual slugishness of my phone after the recent update made me bite the bullet
Note 9 is still a great phone in 2020. I have an s7 and dont plan to switch for a few more years.

My first reaction was "well those look nearly identical, so what's the point?"
Then I remembered my laptop screen doesn't even know what 4K is
Still rocking my Note 9 and I love it. It has everything I want and runs great. I don't mind the very tiny chins. I'd take those over the pinhole cameras. I don't know I just feel like I don't really need anything else? Just sharing my opinion.
Its true, and its ridiculous to pay 1300$ for something that in truth, its just slightly better and does almost nothing new. Keeping my note 9 as well.
Note 9 FTW. After I got it, I never felt the need of upgrading. This phone is just awesome
Absolutely correct. Don't buy into Samsung gimmicks. Keep your Note 9.
I think there is a reason why our phones top polls.
variable refresh rate though on note 20 ultra
Why do I still daily drive a 4 generation old phone?
Because it has a physical home button.
Happy to trade mine in for waterproof and full screen display personally. With the newer swipe style Android interface I don't miss it ever.
@Poopee I use my in summer's dust, autumn's rain and winter's snow.
You know… outside… being "mobile".
@Poopee I take it in the shower to control my music with and use it all the time around snow and rain. Once you know it's waterproof your tend to use it a lot more around water than you'd think you would without it imo. My OnePlus 7 pro hasn't had a single moment I wished it had a real button. When not having a real button meant you had the nav bar at the bottom I was totally with you and kept my note3 etc. Now that the Android swipe is the main way I don't give up part of my screen to nav and I'm good.
What a way to flex on me. My Galaxy S7 died on me this Friday. Got myself a Galaxy A71, good Phone so far.

I'm switching to an a10e. Ill double check , but pretty sure that has a headphone jack too. Why are companies still removing them when I have heard litterally NO ONE say they thought it a good idea?
@@geekygirl2596 So they can sell you overpriced add-on wireless headphones and make more money. It will be at a "discounted" price with the handset. At that point, you've got no other choice. You can blame the money hungry company Apple for the "innovation."

I would love of Samsung would keep releasing the Note 9 year after year just updating the processor, ram, storage and battery.
The phone is perfect!
I don't need more cameras or anything fancier, just updated specs under the hood and all the same features of the Note 9, how hard is to do that?
or even better, update it to android 11
I would like a wide angle camera instead of a telephoto one.
I would like the pin hole gone, oh, and no bloatware. I like the camera getting getting better personally- it’s my main camera and taking pics of the family is important- especially at night time. Adding lots of fancy functions is what Samsung does to differentiate itself. It’s been successful for them so they ain’t gonna listen to you. If they did, imagine the complaints and low sales because they hadn’t upgraded much...I’m pretty sure that’s happened to them before.
@@makasete30 Thing is tho, They will listen!! When influencers everywhere are talking crap on your devices and choosing to go with previous version because they are infact better and superior, and these influencers start to influence their communities to start saying the same thing... Samsung will fold, Stop with the features, update the hardware but... Charge the same amount every year... It would be both more profitable for them and a better experience for the end user....
They would still obviously sell SUPER FEATURE RICH Phones but at a higher price point... Probably call them the F Series so you know this phone is Feature rich!
the point of being successful in business is to give the user and buyer what they want, otherwise, they stop buying...
You literally just heard Linus, One of the BIGGEST tech influencers, put this free $1500 phone back in its case to opt for the older version whilst telling his fanbase to buy Samnsungs competitors devices or second hand devices...
