I have one question, I dont have much investment at the moment. i bought mari around 400-500 and sold it at 800 something. Should i start reinvesting in mari gradually again or should i wait to drop the price a little bit more ?
Personally I would say reinvest because the company's financials are strong its constantly outperforming in the oil and gas sector and also has companies like fauji fertilizers as their customers so future prospect is bright. Even at this stock price it's P/E is around 5.7 to 10x so there is still huge potential. Secondly, i would advise you to also diversify your portfolio invest in Fert + cement + automotive or IT or Oil and gas.

Which is why it’s very important to evaluate stocks fundamentally and choose fundamentally strong stocks! Good companies with good growth and expansion, there are many metrics to evaluate fundamentally strong companies such as debt to equity, PE ratios, profitability over the years, circular debt etc!
Then invest in something else there are tons of stock that have provided tremendous returns over the past decade. In general index gives you profit which means there will always be companies that will give you profit you just have to do proper research and understand how to read financial statements (its not that difficult) + check the PE ratio and the performance of the overall sector from which that company belongs to. Generally as a new investor its safe to buy stocks in companies that have top 5 market cap just to play safe while you learn and invest further.

We can only hope Stock Exchange is not heading for a major crash. The traditional sharks are waiting for the right time to make a cut. All new young investors, please study & do your research properly before investing. Stock investing is a game of long term, only Lambi race kaa ghoora are successful here. Don't come here for a short term trading perspective or you will bleed and lose all money. Be persistent, be consistent, don't get disheartened by initial losses, they are bound to come. If you stay long term, which is minimum 5 years, you will definitely make 20% CAGR (average annual growth). Don't over diversify, don't under diversify, choose an optimal number of shares across sectors. Dont make too many transactions and you will make 0% at the end of all cycles. Patience is the key. Stock investing is both science & arts. Understands both aspects for a long term success. Psychology plays a big role here.

Hello! You can open a sahulat account. All you’ll need to show is your mobile number registered on your name, CNIC and bank account under your name! You can choose any brokerage registered under SECP theres a list available on the PSX website! And always remember to do your own analysis and choose your own stocks rather than seeking guidance from a broker
