Two video's in one day, Alex? Wonderful! Anyway, just wanted to say that I have been watching motorhome videos for the past few months in contemplation of renting/purchasing one. Your presentation here was by far the best I have seen so far! And I have seen many! When I first saw your motorhome last year, I thought it was magnificent. I can see why you prefer the opposite couches for visitors, but I would much rather prefer a pair of theatre recliners. This unit is perfect size for driving, nice interior with options for sleeping, decent sized bathroom and shower, all the mod coms required for an extended time traveling in all kinds of weather. This is simply perfect for impromptu get-aways, or planned long haul trips. Thank you for doing this! Well done!

Thank you for your lovely comments. Yes, the opposite sofa arrangement is great for days out (Rick and the Vic style, usually). I know what you mean about the theatre recliners; the front seats do pivot round, so i am not plotting a drop down cinema screen! Thanks for planting the seed of that idea, I might have to have a look!

@@alexrigby-dailypilgrim1351 I saw these double theatre seats as an option in one of the motor-homes I reviewed, and I thought it was incredible. Great for even just taking a little afternoon nap and can be a comfortable spot for watching TV on those rainy days.

Lovely video, Alex. I currently own an Elgrand, had 2 years of fun with it but now ready to purchase a new coach build - for all the reasons you mention in your vid. 😊

I still miss my Elgrand. However, it is actually cheaper on fuel to drive my motorhome than it was to drive the Elgrand. Wonderful memories, but I am sure you will find that once you take the step to a motorhome, you will never look back!

Great video Alex and very informative. I love the convenience and comfort of a Motor Home. At the moment I have a self built VWT6 which we dearly love and it has taken us to some truly wonderful places and has given us experiences that I wouldn’t have imagined possible for us.
Mine has been a post illness project which has been very beneficial in my recovery and life after illness. Mine has become my comfort blanket if you like, my safe place. As my illness left me with a reminder of out battle it does sometimes leave me with an embarrassing problem. Our van gives me the confidence that I can get out of the way and sort myself out and change.
Hopefully one day we will upgrade to a coach built MoHo but for the moment our little van serves us well.

Thanks for the comments. I will admit that we were very fortunate to be able to get the motorhome. But we still look back at our Nissan Elgrand with some fondness. I know what you mean about a safe place. As I write this I am suffering with a virus, yet very happy to sit in the motorhome and ride out the storm.
I am glad you are enjoying your adventures still - where is next on your 'visiting list'?

@@alexrigby-dailypilgrim1351 Although we have a long weekend off work after the election we have no real plans yet. The next real big trip most likely be Scotland in November with a group of friends. Other than that we have no real plans so I guess it’ll be wherever we fancy at the time.
      Have you got any plans?

I would love one but I would be worried parking up and leaving it and going off for the day in case it’s burgled

I have a very good alarm on Elvis. I also have a tracker! I too am fearful every time I live it, so when I am traveling and going out and about, I only leave the bear essentials on board!
