Very nice ideas I like it , I have my tiny micro camper which is very comfortable for me and my wife It has small kitchen with sink , 2 sofa beds ,portable’s toilet with small folding tent of course table ,shade on the side storage for cheers and outside kitchen with grill, I have also very small AC and generator small 12volt fridge and on the top I have bag on the roof to keep the other staff , all I am missing is pup up roof that will make it invisible

Looks like a nice place to rest and take it easy. Even in your line of work it is hard to lose friends and people you love when they pass on. You must have an understanding partner who doesn't mind you filming her when she is chilling out!

Hello Again Alex, I just thought I might add a comment here that I enjoyed your podcast, and that I am thrilled that you have opened up this opportunity for people to share and be a part of a community. I, too, consider myself more of a spiritual person than religious, and I have spent the past 36 years studying and learning about both. To me, it is very much all how one interprets things. I have learned so much from Dr. Joseph Campbell, noted late professor at Sara Lawrence University, amongst many other teachers. Fascinating stuff. My journey now is as a recently retired professional who has suddenly found Life very different. For me, there have been many changes over the past recent years on many different levels...and I find myself turning my mind and heart towards deeper spirituality, as a means of feeling more connected to the world around me, for the first time in many decades. So sad re the dog. I have always had dogs ( rescue dogs ) they are fantastic company and give so much unconditional love back. 😢

Ouch......that dog story. That's so heartbreaking. I'm not sure we have many kill centres here. Like they do in the states. I think it's awful that they are on a ticking countdown in those places.

Some people are incredibly rude. I woukd be cross too.

Oh goodness I hope I never see that picture of the dog. I keep saying it and will always say it “some people do not deserve the love and loyalty of a dog” or any other pet to be honest. It breaks our hearts when we lose a dog and each time I say not getting another and the. Several months later Im training a puppy 😂

That was a fun day out! Can't beat a ramble around and seeing what's out there to discover! I think that sign at the start must lead onto Clarkson's farm. He's surely the only farmer eccentric enough to weaponise ostriches! "This is why a gentleman shouldn't... Bugger!" -Could be on a t-shirt! 😂 If it's any consolation though, if you had been trapped on the bridge it looks like a great spot to pitch a tent! Mind you, you seem to have dragged half the topsoil in the area into Elvis!

For those poor souls who have nothing else better to do (me), I decided to track down the forested road, 'Y' junction crossing, that was combined with the stone bridge. Delving deep into Google Maps, the (not simply) exercise took the the better part of two hours, but from my sniffing, then I can report that this is what Alex found, is famously called the Blackpool Bridge, .. Great video Alex and very informative. I love the convenience and comfort of a Motor Home. At the moment I have a self built VWT6 which we dearly love and it has taken us to some truly wonderful places and has given us experiences that I wouldn’t have imagined possible for us. Mine has been a post illness project which has been very beneficial in my recovery and life after illness. Mine has become my comfort blanket if you like, my safe place. As my illness left me with a reminder of out battle it does sometimes leave me with an embarrassing problem. Our van gives me the confidence that I can get out of the way and sort myself out and change. Hopefully one day we will upgrade to a coach built MoHo but for the moment our little van serves us well.

I would love one but I would be worried parking up and leaving it and going off for the day in case it’s burgled

Sometimes the nicest adventures are ones where you just take in the vista's, go nowhere in particular to do nothing in particular, and just enjoy things on the fly...! I was thinking about that bridge, and I wondered if it wasn't just a farmers installment to get from one field to another at one time or a carriage way for the 'muckety mucks' that once lived in the area?? lol ...Perhaps there was a stream or waterway at one time? Anyway, thanks for the little trip. Beautiful day. Quiet. You are indeed a very blessed man...

Two video's in one day, Alex? Wonderful! Anyway, just wanted to say that I have been watching motorhome videos for the past few months in contemplation of renting/purchasing one. Your presentation here was by far the best I have seen so far! And I have seen many! When I first saw your motorhome last year, I thought it was magnificent. I can see why you prefer the opposite couches for visitors, but I would much rather prefer a pair of theatre recliners. This unit is perfect size for driving, nice interior with options for sleeping, decent sized bathroom and shower, all the mod coms required for an extended time traveling in all kinds of weather. This is simply perfect for impromptu get-aways, or planned long haul trips. Thank you for doing this! Well done!
