@@mirzamilak2109take this one back my guy... The most simple point is that he's played more than anyone in nba history and he's still a top 5 player in the league in year 21. Hate him or love him you can't deny the amount of minutes he's played, the points he's scored, what he's doing now, and how he made a player 15 years younger look a few nights ago or the fact that he went toe to toe with Luka just tonight in the slug fest.

The difference is that at the age of 39 LeBron is magnitudes better than any of those guys were at that stage of their careers and is putting up way better numbers than the Shoe Guy did his last few years in the league. He also won a championship everywhere he went. You're also acting like his dedication to his craft, his game and his body are things to be ridiculed rather than marveled at. Thinking Basketball has a breakdown on it actually, he's definitely far more deliberate and smarter with the ball. What's crazy to me is how he figured out the transition, a lot of athletes build their careers around their physicality, most athletes do considering the nature of sports in general. Once you lose that physicality, it's going to be hard to adjust when you're late in your career just trying to keep up with the younger athletes with the same physicality you had. He's just different, I don't care what anyone says, he deserves to be called one of the greatest AT MINIMUM because of what he has been able to do with his career in terms of evolving his game.

Genetics is a weird gray area when it comes to being a valid attribute towards a player's skillset. Took Bron 15 years to have real injury and it did next to nothing to him physically when he finally did get hurt. One hand DNA doesn't have much to do with basketball skill, but at the same time it makes and breaks a player's skills.

The comparison isn't even close. LeBron is doing something remarkable at 39 as a NBA player.
What is also interesting is the metric the graphic is using. They're going by season instead of by age because LeBron is younger in his 21st NBA season than all the players on that list.
If you used age as a metric, Kareem won an MVP and NBA championship and averaged 20ppg and about 10 reb at rougly same age as LeBron. The gap isnt as far if you use age as a metric versus season.

But there are plenty of teams that have great defenses still, 76ers, Celtics, Timberwolves, Nuggets, and Clippers to name a few. You also have to consider the talent and skill level offensively is so much better now than it ever was back then, having great team defense in some ways now is better than having 1v1 Defense because it's so hard to defend a hesi move, or fast pace offense like the Pacers.
