I like Justin Peters. But I don't agree with him about cessationism. It's good that he doesn't place a condition on God only to believe Him if he gets healing though. But, I remember riding back to my hometown on the bus after being gone for 2 years. I was 16 when I left. I remembered thinking that I was probably taller now than before. I was pretty sure I was going to be taller now because it made sense that I would have grown in 2 years. Hadn't really thought about it till then but I think it happened right there sitting on the bus. The guy sitting next to me was a whole head lower when I looked over at him. What I remember most distinctly the wide eyed look of amazement he gave me. We didn't speak for the rest of the ride. When I got back and boarded the city bus, I hit my hat on the door jam boarding. Granted, it was a cowboy hat, but I didn't know I was that tall. The people on the bus whispered to each other, "He's too tall." When I woke up the next morning I was taller than I was before but I wasn't that tall anymore. They also said I'm near sighted. And I have to wear glasses to pass my eye exam at the drivers licence office. But, one time I sat reading a book and noticed it had drifted farther away from my face than usual and I could still read it. I set it on the ground and every word was still legible. I stood up and read the words on the page clearly as it lay on the ground. I then stood on the bench and could still read it. I'm trying to figure out how despite of this I still haven't been able to pass my eye exam without corrective lenses?
I don’t think he does. I think he loves his religious identity. Calvinists believe you are predestined for heaven or hell from conception. That’s not loving people. That’s the worst of all condemnations, that some people were just born to burn in hell forever with no choice in the matter. Don’t sound like love at all, sounds depressing, condemning and hopeless. Why even be a preacher if its all set in stone? Makes zero sense.

Wow!!! This just gave me the answer to my question about my salvation! In the past, I had tried to be a "good" Christian, but never accomplished much. I would say I would go to church and read the Bible but ultimately things never stuck. It was a few years ago when I was so broken, so disgusted with everything wicked and horrible I had become, that I was finally done with SIN. It was then I became born again. I was no longer seeking escape from hell; I was seeking forgiveness because I knew I had insulted and hurt my Holy Father. Wow oh wow.... @Romeo Allen Yes, I do need more biblical evidence because you didn't provide any. Of course I iagree that man is not good enough to enter heaven- he needs the sacrifice of Christ. However, I contend that the Bible teaches that man has the ability to accept God. Many of the passages you even quote imply that. And the 4 of the first 5 are the same verse just repeated. Pretty bogus evidence. It is about how man is not righteous. It's not about total depravity, which is doctrine from man, not God.
The opening sequence is well-worth the entire video. Watch it all, but, the discussion on repentance and true salvation is so rich and so needed today. Like Justin -- and I'm sure like so many others -- I was a so called convert at 16, lived a life thinking I was saved, until I was soundly, graciously saved at 35. I had plenty of assurances from church leaders/members along the way, but, I was indeed lost. I knew when I passed from death to life, darkness to light. And it wasn't walking an aisle at 16, promising to live like a Christian with all my might, in a SBC church.
The Lord finally brought me to this kind of repentance. I now just hate sin and hate that I have offended God. Everytime my mind falls on a memory of a sin i had forgotten I feel such sorrow of hurting the Lord and I repent of it in tears. I am thankful that the Lord has done this. I no longer miss my old life at all. I struggled with missing parts of it for a long time but its gone. Glory to God for this. I feel closer to God and thank Him for never giving up on me. I know ,finally, that I am saved. I had to just throw myself on His mercy and trust Jesus.
Oh, wow, I am stunned to hear this! I thought I was one of extremely few who had this testimony! When I was 14, I decided that I wanted to be a Christian, so I went to the altar in an Arminian/Pentecostal camp meeting, but when I heard my mother there beside me, I got up and left. The next day, I talked myself into thinking I was a believer. However, I learned at the age of 57, quite unexpectedly, that I was not a believer at all when without even thinking of my own salvation, I suddenly realized I was repenting of my sin with profound horror at how evil my soul was! It was shocking, and I lived in complete wonder at what was going in me for several weeks! I am 70 now and still both shocked and amazed. Just keeping this short . . . .

The basics of the Gospel? John the Baptist and Jesus both taught "Repent for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand." Peter, on the Day of Pentecost said, "Repent and be baptized....." None of them said, "Let God grant you repentance." They told the people they had to repent.

Having been delivered from Calvinism, I find the teaching that we don't have the ability to believe in Jesus unless God supernaturally gives us an effectual faith to believe is just not taught in the Bible. Calvinism teaches the opposite of John 20:31 - "but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." God did not predetermine who would be saved (Calvinist "Predestination"), but rather those in Christ (those who come to Christ) are predestined to be holy and blameless before Him. In other words, God did not predetermine who would be the Elect and thereby predetermining who would go to hell. He predetermined that all those who believe in Christ would be the Elect, and all those who reject Christ will go to hell.
That's not what John 6:44 says... it says no man is ABLE to come to ME UNLESS The FATHER draws them...all who are given to the SON BY THE FATHER are drawn and raised on the last day. Your problem is with GOD'S WORD. You're the objecter in Romans 9.

The problem I have with using Bethel, Hillsong, and Elevation music in church is that all their songs are licensed and you need to pay to use them. I am so glad that Justin brought this up. Most people don’t even realize this
They only pay for the sheet music once. Only copyright fees not a license. The license is for public performances on tv .Just like when they were buying hymnals, it is only a small fee for sheet music. It is fair to pay someone for their work. That being said, churches not using hymnals anymore has truly hurt the finances of those who still own the copyright on a few of the old hymns. Even the preacher and secretary at the church gets paid.

What an immense help & blessing to hear this. I cannot begin to tell or even attempt to explain the agony of just not knowing. Not knowing if I’m truly saved, the feverish scrutiny of my every word & every deed. As Justin said he’d preach & return to his hotel & “lie awake” due the not truly knowing or grasping actual repentance. If I beg enough, if I promise everything; all in hoping I’m forgiven. Hoping God will have mercy on me. Hoping that somehow, amid the multitudes, he’ll notice me. One of the reasons perhaps your discernment and Justin’s ministry gets more hits on their RUclips is because a lot of Christians have teachers we subscribe to for devotional type ministry but there are so few voices out there saying this person is false. Thank you for standing for truth
If God is the One whom ultimately does the work of repentance in people there would be no need for Him to continually deal with Israel to turn back to Him as we see depicted in the story of Hosea. Why call people to repent and turn back to Him if they have no part in choosing to do so?

So in 1 part he is saying that predestination is a God honoring doctrine. How is God purposely not ‘selecting’ someone for heaven and sending them to hell God honoring? The doctrine in Calvinism of predestination is as bad as any heresy out there. And it’s so easy to disprove in the Bible.
Just as bad as the damnable Pentecostalism I escaped from and found the one true church, Holy Orthodoxy! Justin was instrumental in opening my eyes to the fact that it is not always God’s will to heal us, and scripture verifies that healing is not guaranteed. Can God heal us? Absolutely, but for reasons known only to Him, He doesn’t heal us all the time. On the other hand, if you want to see the list of everything that He owes us, look at a blank sheet of paper. Everything is right there in perfect detail.

Proper repentance: understanding that you were made for God's image and can learn to walk like Him through Holy Spirit. What lots of people (even pastors) don't (yet) understand. For the fall of man a perfect atoning sacrifice had to be made.... that is what God did in Christ. He paid the debt for the fall of man for us to be indwelled by His Spirit again and finally receive the divine life of the ages back, the first Adam let got of in the fall of man. That is what you see happening in Christ's first disciples. They too healed all. And yes.... that is still avaible today. The holy blood is in place, the Holy Spirit is here to give us understanding and transform us back to origin. Not to be debated about, but to be embraced and be-come. So: The Kingdom of God already came. Through Christ, in Spiritform, in those that understand. Hence the divine healing miracles we experience. God manifested in Christ to give us back the divine life mankind lost in the fall of Adam. Christ, the exact image of the invisible God. The image we were created after in Gen 1. For three years He healed all, raised the dead, casted out demons, controlled nature, spoke pure divine truth. He said: "Follow Me. If you see Me, you see the Father. The Father and I are one. The glory I have IN My Father, I give to you. It pleases the Father to give you His Kingdom/Holy Spirit/divine nature. I will send Holy Spirit, the same as Me, He will be IN you, guide you into truth and give you explosive power. The same miracles i do, you will do too, because you will understand that the Father is IN Me and I am IN you. Freely I give you My Kingdom/Holy Spirit/divine nature, heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, freely I give, freely share" Etc, etc, etc. I have experienced thousands of beautifull healing miracles through the power of Holy Spirit IN me already. Broken bones, cancers, covid, all kinds of infirmities healed in seconds. Demons manifesting and casted out by a simple "get out, in Jesus name". Jesus. De name above all names. So.... thank you Jesus! Thank you for redeeming me from the fall of man. Thank you for your Holy Spirit that makes this new (yet old) divine life come alive in me. You are amazing! He understood too and wrote: "By Gods power (Holy Spirit) and knowing Christ, we have become partakers of the divine nature and have escaped the fall of man". The divine life of the ages has been returned to us by Jesus once and for all perfect atoning sacrifice for the debt of the fall of man and His indwelling Holy Spirit in us. Jesus/God is amazing!!! Ten years ago i thought I received salvation, but ten years later I still fall into the trap of sin, I have to literally go into my modem/router settings to block certain websites so even if I am tempted it is impossible. I fear God has never picked me and I am delusional to believe he picked me that he will never pick me. When I realized the truth of what Calvin had said years ago, I fear God did not make me one of the elect. This new understanding of Christianity is depressing and it makes everything so hopeless. If God doesn't want me there is nothing I can do about it, then what is the point of even living? Why even create me if he just wants to destroy me?
Suki suki luu read and study the Bible for yourself. It is helpful to listen to preachers sometimes but more important to read the Word for yourself. In that and through that God speaks to us. Prayer is a must. We need God by His Holy Spirit to give us wisdom and discernment to understand what we are reading. I have known of devoted so called believers that have read the Bible cover to cover more than 5 times to end up denying God and turning atheists at the end. In the book of Acts 8:26-40 the Ethiopian Eunuch was reading Isaiah and Phillip was sent to him by The Spirit to explain The Scripture. You also have to be super careful not to listen to just anybody. People twist Scripture to adjusted to their own beliefs
God didn’t create any of us just to destroy us, that’s crazy and it’s the enemy. Jesus promised to NEVER leave us or forsake us and to go with us to the end of the world! Say that everyday and don’t live by your feelings, live by your faith, worship and praise God for sending Jesus to die in your place, spend time in prayer and Bible reading everyday even if it’s only 15 minutes. I was terrified about my salvation for a long time because I thought even though I was repentant (I went from enjoying my sin to honestly hating my sin) but I thought for some reason maybe the Lord didnt draw me because I know I'm awful ,maybe I hate sin now because I want so badly to have a relationship with Jesus etc.....because I was unable to stop my sin immediately .I thought if I repented right that I would get up the next day and my 10 year addiction would be gone. I didn't understand that the Lord would work on me
Where in the Bible is cessation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit stated? This seems to be a fundamental question. I have in my life been to revival and healing services as young as 17yrs old. I have seen real healing’s verified medically. A church I attended back then also had individuals speaking in a language they did not know witnessed by one who’s language was native to the other speaking in “tongues”. That man was brought to salvation as a result. Just because you have not seen or experienced such does not preclude the reality. Did not Jesus say “ you will do works greater then I” ? That with faith one could move mountains… This is not to argue nor criticize but is as a genuine question concerning the gifts of the Holy Spirit present in today’s world. My guess is that the explanation would be something along the lines of, "that was fulfilled by some believers in the first century, and then closed/sealed/ceased." They don't believe that those promises are for today.

Hi guys, thank you for doing this video I do watch a lot of Justin Peters videos. I want to ask about an experience that I had around 20 plus years ago and it goes like this: I went to a church one weekend with my wife and there was a guest pastor from I think California, I was living in a suburb of Toronto Ontario Canada at the time. It was I think our second time at this church but we did not have any friends or even acquaintances there nobody knew us and certainly not the guest speaker. We did not fill out any prayer requests forms or give anyone any information about ourselves. As he was finishing preaching he approached me and asked me if I had an ear problem, then he TOLD me that there was something wrong with my inner ear but it was not deafness. He then proceeded to tell me that God just healed me of this condition. Only weeks prior to this I had experienced a lot of dizziness and went to my doctor to see what was the matter and after some tests I was diagnosed with vertigo. I had been praying that God would take it away so that I could continue to work and serve at my church. I have not had any dizziness since that time and it was quite a few years ago. I know the Bible talks about word of knowledge Word of Faith gifts and even healing gifts. I do not believe that there are any modern-day apostles. But I can't help concluding that based on the word of God this was a word of knowledge and a healing. I don't want to be wrong in my assumption so what do you guys think happened that night? can you please give me some feedback? I am incredibly grateful that this problem went away. I look forward to your comments.

These people do not believe in the reality of the Holy Spirit being God in their lives. The Word was made flesh and now sits on the thrown of God. The Bible is infallible, and the Holy Spirit is lives inside each and every believer. They believe in the Bible because it takes little faith to believe what you can see, but don’t have the faith to believe that the God living inside of them will speak to them.
20:57 I love this. Personally I would also disagree that continuationism is automatically charismatic. Yes, going by the definition and word itself charismatic is one thing. However how it plays out in our culture has no limits, and that version is wrong. But to say just being a continuationist or even in the open but cautious camp is somehow at odds with the sufficiency of scripture is not right. Maybe the gift of prophecy, depending on how you mean it, could be.
I really hate the false prophets that are getting rich and sending people to hell with their theology but I wish people could listen more about those people and find another church to go to or listen the correct videos so they can escape hell. Leaving it all on God then, you have to draw out its logical conclusion that God is the one that ends up sending us to hell then. If we don't have a free choice and God has to make the choice for us, then we're not responsible for our sins or responsible for going to hell even. God made the choice to send someone to hell. That's the biggest problem I have with Calvinism. "Everyone that calls on the name Jesus, will be saved". Not every name Jesus calls on will be saved. Calvinism is some sort of club then. Almost sounds like Jehovah's Witnesses.

Speaking of error, where is the book chapter and verse that says we spend eternity in heaven? Also, where does it say the gifts ended. There is a false ministry of famous preachers not found anywhere in Scripture.
How much do i need to grieve over my sin to be saved? a little, much, alot? This is confusing when you guys teach repentance as turning from sin. All of them? Completely? I know I can not save myself. Only Jesus shed blood on the cross can save me. I believed he died, was buried and rose again. I put my trust in that alone for my salvation. I fell bad for things i do wrong. Some more than others. Some things used to not bother me but now they do. Sometimes I still do things I shouldnt. But when I was about 8 or 9 I walked an aisle (yes its okay to do that) and I told the pastor I wanted to be baptised (thats what he was preaching on) so I could be saved. He explained to me Baptism doesnt save you and he explained the Gospel as i presented it earlier in the comment, then he led me in a "sinners prayer". And yes I know the prayer didnt save me. I was saved the moment I believed and recieved. I did not have a overwhelming sense of sorrow or pain over my sin. But I Knew i was bad and Jesus was the only way. So tell me.....am I saved or not?
This is probably one of the most important discussions on repentance, I’ll ever come across. And only from an outsider. The labels and theology group names has not served me well; i.e., “Calvinist”, “Sovereignty”. The subject is repentance. The contextual point of reference is 2 Corinthians chapter 7, verse 10. Justin Peters spoke of a duality of Godly repentance. This is new to me. It’s also a bit troubling. My hope is that Justin will read this and respond directly on these comments. For quite some time now, I have seen, read, listened to his ministry, (Peters), on a variety of topics in the tight circles of sound Christian doctrine. This man has won me over. This video is not settled.

Of course the cofusing part of a message like this that says base your assurance on your, desires, afections, sorrow etc, is that we still have a adamic or sinfull flesh that still is atracted to sin, worldliness, selfishnes etc. So basing asurance on introspection like this can certainly cause doubt or confusion. Ive always been confused by somone who says they were a believer for years but say they were not saved until had all these changes in thier life. The christian bases assurance on Christs finished work and that imputed to the believer. A mesage like this is closer to catholic theology wich teaches " infused" rightiosnes instead of " imputed" for justification before God.

Repentance is not a work... The Bible NEVER says anything of the sort. Repentance starts by simply admitting we CAN’T save ourselves and knowing we are sinners.

It’s TRUE about the music being the Trojan Horse. I’ve sat directly under these teachers and they say this openly. They say that people will sing things that they will not (yet) preach from the pulpit, so music is the best way to get “new theology” into churches.

The only thing we will have covering us for salvation will be the righteousness, life and death of Jesus Christ our Savior. Not our good works of His laws, not our sufferings of persecution for our beliefs,, nor repentance ,baptism ,preaching the gospel, nor correcting the wrongs of others, nothing but, Jesus redemption and grace for us. All we do as saved believers are not counted for our salvation, they are counted for our sanctification, also received by the help of the Holy Spirit. You have quite a different understanding than I do, though we do agree that we are justified by our faith and also that works as it pertains to the law has absolutely no place in in our salvation by grace. I like Justin Peters. But I don't agree with him about cessationism. It's good that he doesn't place a condition on God only to believe Him if he gets healing though.
But, I remember riding back to my hometown on the bus after being gone for 2 years. I was 16 when I left. I remembered thinking that I was probably taller now than before. I was pretty sure I was going to be taller now because it made sense that I would have grown in 2 years.
Hadn't really thought about it till then but I think it happened right there sitting on the bus. The guy sitting next to me was a whole head lower when I looked over at him. What I remember most distinctly the wide eyed look of amazement he gave me. We didn't speak for the rest of the ride.
When I got back and boarded the city bus, I hit my hat on the door jam boarding. Granted, it was a cowboy hat, but I didn't know I was that tall. The people on the bus whispered to each other, "He's too tall." When I woke up the next morning I was taller than I was before but I wasn't that tall anymore.
They also said I'm near sighted. And I have to wear glasses to pass my eye exam at the drivers licence office. But, one time I sat reading a book and noticed it had drifted farther away from my face than usual and I could still read it. I set it on the ground and every word was still legible. I stood up and read the words on the page clearly as it lay on the ground. I then stood on the bench and could still read it. I'm trying to figure out how despite of this I still haven't been able to pass my eye exam without corrective lenses?

I don’t think he does. I think he loves his religious identity. Calvinists believe you are predestined for heaven or hell from conception. That’s not loving people. That’s the worst of all condemnations, that some people were just born to burn in hell forever with no choice in the matter. Don’t sound like love at all, sounds depressing, condemning and hopeless. Why even be a preacher if its all set in stone? Makes zero sense.

Wow!!! This just gave me the answer to my question about my salvation!
In the past, I had tried to be a "good" Christian, but never accomplished much. I would say I would go to church and read the Bible but ultimately things never stuck.
It was a few years ago when I was so broken, so disgusted with everything wicked and horrible I had become, that I was finally done with SIN. It was then I became born again. I was no longer seeking escape from hell; I was seeking forgiveness because I knew I had insulted and hurt my Holy Father.
Wow oh wow.... I now know how to articulate why this time was different and I am a completely new person in Christ. This will help me in sharing the gospel to others and my testimony.

@Romeo Allen Yes, I do need more biblical evidence because you didn't provide any. Of course I iagree that man is not good enough to enter heaven- he needs the sacrifice of Christ. However, I contend that the Bible teaches that man has the ability to accept God. Many of the passages you even quote imply that.

The opening sequence is well-worth the entire video. Watch it all, but, the discussion on repentance and true salvation is so rich and so needed today. Like Justin -- and I'm sure like so many others -- I was a so called convert at 16, lived a life thinking I was saved, until I was soundly, graciously saved at 35. I had plenty of assurances from church leaders/members along the way, but, I was indeed lost. I knew when I passed from death to life, darkness to light. And it wasn't walking an aisle at 16, promising to live like a Christian with all my might, in a SBC church.

The Lord finally brought me to this kind of repentance. I now just hate sin and hate that I have offended God. Everytime my mind falls on a memory of a sin i had forgotten I feel such sorrow of hurting the Lord and I repent of it in tears. I am thankful that the Lord has done this. I no longer miss my old life at all. I struggled with missing parts of it for a long time but its gone. Glory to God for this. I feel closer to God and thank Him for never giving up on me. I know ,finally, that I am saved. I had to just throw myself on His mercy and trust Jesus.
Oh, wow, I am stunned to hear this! I thought I was one of extremely few who had this testimony! When I was 14, I decided that I wanted to be a Christian, so I went to the altar in an Arminian/Pentecostal camp meeting, but when I heard my mother there beside me, I got up and left. The next day, I talked myself into thinking I was a believer. However, I learned at the age of 57, quite unexpectedly, that I was not a believer at all when without even thinking of my own salvation, I suddenly realized I was repenting of my sin with profound horror at how evil my soul was! It was shocking, and I lived in complete wonder at what was going in me for several weeks! I am 70 now and still both shocked and amazed. Just keeping this short . . . .

The basics of the Gospel? John the Baptist and Jesus both taught "Repent for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand." Peter, on the Day of Pentecost said, "Repent and be baptized....." None of them said, "Let God grant you repentance." They told the people they had to repent.
And in the book of Revelation, Jesus was still saying, "Repent" to the churches He had John send the messages to.
Justin is just repackaging old heresies and using them as his own! His bitterness towards God for not healing him is evident. He says he's not bitter or jealous many, may times. Proof that he truly is! Calvinism is an old, heretical joke! If we have no choice we can not be judged and Justin is calling God a liar! Justin will be told the same thing he says the heretics are on judgment day unless he repents!

Having been delivered from Calvinism, I find the teaching that we don't have the ability to believe in Jesus unless God supernaturally gives us an effectual faith to believe is just not taught in the Bible. Calvinism teaches the opposite of John 20:31 - "but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." God did not predetermine who would be saved (Calvinist "Predestination"), but rather those in Christ (those who come to Christ) are predestined to be holy and blameless before Him. In other words, God did not predetermine who would be the Elect and thereby predetermining who would go to hell. He predetermined that all those who believe in Christ would be the Elect, and all those who reject Christ will go to hell.
That's not what John 6:44 says... it says no man is ABLE to come to ME UNLESS The FATHER draws them...all who are given to the SON BY THE FATHER are drawn and raised on the last day. Your problem is with GOD'S WORD. You're the objecter in Romans 9.

The problem I have with using Bethel, Hillsong, and Elevation music in church is that all their songs are licensed and you need to pay to use them. I am so glad that Justin brought this up. Most people don’t even realize this
They only pay for the sheet music once. Only copyright fees not a license. The license is for public performances on tv .Just like when they were buying hymnals, it is only a small fee for sheet music. It is fair to pay someone for their work. That being said, churches not using hymnals anymore has truly hurt the finances of those who still own the copyright on a few of the old hymns. Even the preacher and secretary at the church gets paid.

What an immense help & blessing to hear this. I cannot begin to tell or even attempt to explain the agony of just not knowing. Not knowing if I’m truly saved, the feverish scrutiny of my every word & every deed. As Justin said he’d preach & return to his hotel & “lie awake” due the not truly knowing or grasping actual repentance. If I beg enough, if I promise everything; all in hoping I’m forgiven. Hoping God will have mercy on me. Hoping that somehow, amid the multitudes, he’ll notice me. One of the reasons perhaps your discernment and Justin’s ministry gets more hits on their RUclips is because a lot of Christians have teachers we subscribe to for devotional type ministry but there are so few voices out there saying this person is false. Thank you for standing for truth

So in 1 part he is saying that predestination is a God honoring doctrine. How is God purposely not ‘selecting’ someone for heaven and sending them to hell God honoring? The doctrine in Calvinism of predestination is as bad as any heresy out there. And it’s so easy to disprove in the Bible.
Just as bad as the damnable Pentecostalism I escaped from and found the one true church, Holy Orthodoxy! Justin was instrumental in opening my eyes to the fact that it is not always God’s will to heal us, and scripture verifies that healing is not guaranteed. Can God heal us? Absolutely, but for reasons known only to Him, He doesn’t heal us all the time.
On the other hand, if you want to see the list of everything that He owes us, look at a blank sheet of paper. Everything is right there in perfect detail.

Proper repentance: understanding that you were made for God's image and can learn to walk like Him through Holy Spirit.
What lots of people (even pastors) don't (yet) understand.
For the fall of man a perfect atoning sacrifice had to be made.... that is what God did in Christ.
He paid the debt for the fall of man for us to be indwelled by His Spirit again and finally receive the divine life of the ages back, the first Adam let got of in the fall of man.
That is what you see happening in Christ's first disciples. They too healed all.
And yes.... that is still avaible today. The holy blood is in place, the Holy Spirit is here to give us understanding and transform us back to origin.
Not to be debated about, but to be embraced and be-come.
So: The Kingdom of God already came. Through Christ, in Spiritform, in those that understand.
Hence the divine healing miracles we experience.
God manifested in Christ to give us back the divine life mankind lost in the fall of Adam.
Christ, the exact image of the invisible God.
The image we were created after in Gen 1.
The image we lost in the fall of man.
The image that can be freely restored by Christ's blood and Holy Spirit working IN us.
What a plan. What a solution. What a love. What a God. Jesus is amazing.

He Himself stooped down from glory to restore us back to original created value: Christlikeness. Walking in divine healing power and unselfish love.

For three years He healed all, raised the dead, casted out demons, controlled nature, spoke pure divine truth.

"Follow Me. If you see Me, you see the Father. The Father and I are one. The glory I have IN My Father, I give to you. It pleases the Father to give you His Kingdom/Holy Spirit/divine nature. I will send Holy Spirit, the same as Me, He will be IN you, guide you into truth and give you explosive power. The same miracles i do, you will do too, because you will understand that the Father is IN Me and I am IN you. Freely I give you My Kingdom/Holy Spirit/divine nature, heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, freely I give, freely share" Etc, etc, etc.
I have experienced thousands of beautifull healing miracles through the power of Holy Spirit IN me already. Broken bones, cancers, covid, all kinds of infirmities healed in seconds. Demons manifesting and casted out by a simple "get out, in Jesus name".
Jesus. De name above all names. In Him all power and wisdom is sourced and.... He calls us one with Him. God in man and man in God again. C'mon Jesus!!

Ten years ago i thought I received salvation, but ten years later I still fall into the trap of sin, I have to literally go into my modem/router settings to block certain websites so even if I am tempted it is impossible. I fear God has never picked me and I am delusional to believe he picked me that he will never pick me. When I realized the truth of what Calvin had said years ago, I fear God did not make me one of the elect. This new understanding of Christianity is depressing and it makes everything so hopeless. Suki suki luu read and study the Bible for yourself. It is helpful to listen to preachers sometimes but more important to read the Word for yourself. In that and through that God speaks to us. Prayer is a must. We need God by His Holy Spirit to give us wisdom and discernment to understand what we are reading. I have known of devoted so called believers that have read the Bible cover to cover more than 5 times to end up denying God and turning atheists at the end. In the book of Acts 8:26-40 the Ethiopian Eunuch was reading Isaiah and Phillip was sent to him by The Spirit to explain The Scripture.
You also have to be super careful not to listen to just anybody. People twist Scripture to adjusted to their own beliefs
God didn’t create any of us just to destroy us, that’s crazy and it’s the enemy. Jesus promised to NEVER leave us or forsake us and to go with us to the end of the world! I was terrified about my salvation for a long time because I thought even though I was repentant (I went from enjoying my sin to honestly hating my sin) but I thought for some reason maybe the Lord didnt draw me because I know I'm awful ,maybe I hate sin now because I want so badly to have a relationship with Jesus etc.....because I was unable to stop my sin immediately .I thought if I repented right that I would get up the next day and my 10 year addiction would be gone. I didn't understand that the Lord would work on me

I have in my life been to revival and healing services as young as 17yrs old. I have seen real healing’s verified medically.
A church I attended back then also had individuals speaking in a language they did not know witnessed by one who’s language was native to the other speaking in “tongues”. That man was brought to salvation as a result.
Just because you have not seen or experienced such does not preclude the reality.

My guess is that the explanation would be something along the lines of, "that was fulfilled by some believers in the first century, and then closed/sealed/ceased."

How does repentance happen ?
The same way God commands us to be joyful in suffering - which we can't do on our own. The Holy Spirit enables us and our God-given will must choose to submit to Him and obey.
Repentance is a change of mind from unbelief to belief in Jesus Christ. It doesn't mean stop sinning, which nobody has.
The Bible says they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover and it gives no timeline when that she'll ever be done away with

Hi guys, thank you for doing this video I do watch a lot of Justin Peters videos. I want to ask about an experience that I had around 20 plus years ago and it goes like this: I went to a church one weekend with my wife and there was a guest pastor from I think California, I was living in a suburb of Toronto Ontario Canada at the time. It was I think our second time at this church but we did not have any friends or even acquaintances there nobody knew us and certainly not the guest speaker. We did not fill out any prayer requests forms or give anyone any information about ourselves. As he was finishing preaching he approached me and asked me if I had an ear problem, then he TOLD me that there was something wrong with my inner ear but it was not deafness. He then proceeded to tell me that God just healed me of this condition. Only weeks prior to this I had experienced a lot of dizziness and went to my doctor to see what was the matter and after some tests I was diagnosed with vertigo. I had been praying that God would take it away so that I could continue to work and serve at my church. I have not had any dizziness since that time and it was quite a few years ago. I know the Bible talks about word of knowledge Word of Faith gifts and even healing gifts. I do not believe that there are any modern-day apostles. But I can't help concluding that based on the word of God this was a word of knowledge and a healing. I don't want to be wrong in my assumption so what do you guys think happened that night? can you please give me some feedback? I am incredibly grateful that this problem went away. I look forward to your comments.

Repentance is the other side of the coin of belief. 98 times in The Gospel of John it says “believe”. What must I do to be saved? Paul gave the answer to the Phillipian jailor its not what Justin is saying. He front loads the gospel
These people do not believe in the reality of the Holy Spirit being God in their lives. The Word was made flesh and now sits on the thrown of God. The Bible is infallible, and the Holy Spirit is lives inside each and every believer. They believe in the Bible because it takes little faith to believe what you can see, but don’t have the faith to believe that the God living inside of them will speak to them.
20:57 I love this. Personally I would also disagree that continuationism is automatically charismatic. Yes, going by the definition and word itself charismatic is one thing. However how it plays out in our culture has no limits, and that version is wrong. But to say just being a continuationist or even in the open but cautious camp is somehow at odds with the sufficiency of scripture is not right. Maybe the gift of prophecy, depending on how you mean it, could be.
I really hate the false prophets that are getting rich and sending people to hell with their theology but I wish people could listen more about those people and find another church to go to or listen the correct videos so they can escape hell. Leaving it all on God then, you have to draw out its logical conclusion that God is the one that ends up sending us to hell then. If we don't have a free choice and God has to make the choice for us, then we're not responsible for our sins or responsible for going to hell even. God made the choice to send someone to hell. That's the biggest problem I have with Calvinism. "Everyone that calls on the name Jesus, will be saved". Not every name Jesus calls on will be saved. Calvinism is some sort of club then. Almost sounds like Jehovah's Witnesses.
the problem is "who will call on the name on the Lord?" and "why?" The answer is in John 3. God opens our eyes and ears to receive the gospel and we believe. For those who perish in hell, Romans 9:22-24 should answer your question

Speaking of error, where is the book chapter and verse that says we spend eternity in heaven? Also, where does it say the gifts ended. There is a false ministry of famous preachers not found anywhere in Scripture.

How much do i need to grieve over my sin to be saved? a little, much, alot? This is confusing when you guys teach repentance as turning from sin. All of them? Completely? I know I can not save myself. Only Jesus shed blood on the cross can save me. I believed he died, was buried and rose again. I put my trust in that alone for my salvation. I fell bad for things i do wrong. Some more than others. Some things used to not bother me but now they do. Sometimes I still do things I shouldnt. But when I was about 8 or 9 I walked an aisle (yes its okay to do that) and I told the pastor I wanted to be baptised (thats what he was preaching on) so I could be saved. He explained to me Baptism doesnt save you and he explained the Gospel as i presented it earlier in the comment, then he led me in a "sinners prayer". And yes I know the prayer didnt save me. I was saved the moment I believed and recieved. I did not have a overwhelming sense of sorrow or pain over my sin. But I Knew i was bad and Jesus was the only way. So tell me.....am I saved or not?
You are because that's the simplicity of the Gospel, the Good News is that Jesus took our sins on Himself and suffered their penalty for us.
This is probably one of the most important discussions on repentance, I’ll ever come across. And only from an outsider. The labels and theology group names has not served me well; i.e., “Calvinist”, “Sovereignty”. The subject is repentance. The contextual point of reference is 2 Corinthians chapter 7, verse 10. Justin Peters spoke of a duality of Godly repentance. This is new to me. It’s also a bit troubling. My hope is that Justin will read this and respond directly on these comments. For quite some time now, I have seen, read, listened to his ministry, (Peters), on a variety of topics in the tight circles of sound Christian doctrine. This man has won me over. This video is not settled.

Of course the cofusing part of a message like this that says base your assurance on your, desires, afections, sorrow etc, is that we still have a adamic or sinfull flesh that still is atracted to sin, worldliness, selfishnes etc. So basing asurance on introspection like this can certainly cause doubt or confusion. Ive always been confused by somone who says they were a believer for years but say they were not saved until had all these changes in thier life. The christian bases assurance on Christs finished work and that imputed to the believer. A mesage like this is closer to catholic theology wich teaches " infused" rightiosnes instead of " imputed" for justification before God.

Repentance is not a work... The Bible NEVER says anything of the sort. Repentance starts by simply admitting we CAN’T save ourselves and knowing we are sinners.

repentance is not a work it is just what it is "please forgive me LORD " I'm serious , where are the verses that repentance is a gift from God like righteousness? God knows that I loathe my sins and that all I want to do is obey Him. This does not interfere with saved by grace alone.

Why, then, did Jesus preach "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand"? \
The only thing we will have covering us for salvation will be the righteousness, life and death of Jesus Christ our Savior. Not our good works of His laws, not our sufferings of persecution for our beliefs,, nor repentance ,baptism ,preaching the gospel, nor correcting the wrongs of others, nothing but, Jesus redemption and grace for us. All we do as saved believers are not counted for our salvation, they are counted for our sanctification, also received by the help of the Holy Spirit. All false churches,preachers, doctrines, music, actions , blasphemies done, will be judged and destroyed by our mighty God!
