A friend of mine who had stage 4 colon cancer told ne that no matter how much he suffered down here, he would have all of eternity to spend without it. That is someone who understands the gospel.
God bless you and your friend. I am looking at a possible kidney cancer diagnosis after some more tests in August after we have a waiting period checking for growth. I keep remembering what a friend of mine told me when she had terminal Cancer: I'm in a win win situation! When I asked her how that could be, her answer was "simple, if I am cured, I won. If I'm not and I die, I still win because I go to heaven and meet Jesus!" That shook me up and made more sense to me than anything. So, that has become my 'theme song" of sorts. Isn't it wonderful we have Jesus as our Lord and Savior?! Prayers and Christian love for you both. ❤🎉🙏

The spirit put forth by this man is one of true humility. He has taught me a lot. I became a believer before Justin was born. The church has been so misled. My Dad was healed of Rheuatoid Arthritis according to James 5:14. He confessed his sin, they lay hands on him, he left that tiny church healed. He entered, unable to even sit down. But he got in the car and drove our family home. His eyes were healed from the damage done by his work as an electrician. That was not even known until weeks later. WHY WAS HE HEALED? He spent the rest of his life, (59 years,) preaching the GOSPEL, singing God's praise, and giving the glory to our Lord Jesus Christ. As you keep on teaching, I pray the CHURCH will start to listen to you and get busy winning the lost to Christ.
I prayed. I had friends pray, I asked strangers to pray for my healing from nerve damage from a benign tumor. 18 years and nothing. Then one day, He healed me. And the chronic pain had kept me close to Him. He didn't heal me til I knew the purpose of the affliction. It was a hard lesson to learn, but so valuable.
I had an accident once and developed Sensory Ataxia. At one point, I began to desire healing. I began to read scripture and to wait on God until I received faith - an assurance from God that when I prayed I would be healed. One night I prayed. The next day the disequilibrium was gone. I no longer had the "positive Rhomberg sign," I could touch my nose with my eyes closed, I could walk in tandem. I could ride a bicycle. When I looked at my hospital records I found I had had the condition for ten years.
I have had chronic pain since I was 20, it's extremely painful and has caused all manner of misery in my life, but if not for it and the terrible things that came from it, I never would have been saved. I also a few months ago found out I was pregnant, and 3 months later lost the baby, which broke my heart, but in the process found out I had pre-cancer, which would have become cervical cancer and killed me had I not gotten pregnant and gotten the testing. God does everything for a reason, including letting us suffer.
Let me add to my last testimony of healing by saying that when I was an adult I developed late-onset Bipolar Disorder and still suffer from it. The illness is neurological and genetic in origin. The characteristic signs of having had numerous episodes are evident on my MRIs. All this to say that it is a real thing not merely emotional problems arising from thought and experience. For some reason, people allow that disorders can exist in every system of the body except the brain but the brain like every other part of our physical nature is affected by the Fall. I have heard people say we simply lack faith or courage or, worse, that our experiences are signs of demonic activity. What they do not allow themselves to imagine is having feelings that arise on their own because of a dysfunction in brain circuits but functional MRIs show this process as it is happening. In my life, I have had to learn that the reality of Christ is beyond feelings and is apprehended only by faith. The negative feelings are not indicators of reality. As for the euphoria, the hymn "On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand" says "I dare not trust the SWEETEST frame (of mind) but wholly lean on Jesus' name."
They are followers of the opposite of what Jesus taught us "What profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul". They serve the other master and not the Lord.

Apostle Paul was poor, if you read that verse about him saying I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.. the context was Christ is sufficient in all circumstances including poverty. Please maybe there preaching can help you. In the bible Mark 16:16-18 if you need healing some people are annointed to cast out demons and heal people, Sickness has to do with demons it says it all over the bible Jesus healed people by casting out Demons. When I was a young teenager I watched "The Robe" with Richard Burton. When RB found the Robe of Christ a woman who was born not being able to walk. RB said to her "why weren't you healed." As she was laying on her matt ,she said "He did heal me" I was bitter and mean, hated everyone. Now I am a totally different person healed of heart. That was when I learned you can be healed in your spirit(from hell to Heaven), your soulyour mind) and your body. Thank you for being a gentle teacher.

Not healing physically for decades brought me closer to God. I accomplished more trying to ignore pain. I studied more to help heal myself. I learned I could walk with Jesus easier than with friends and family. Gradually I got better. There are many reasons for sickness in this world today. At 10 years old I contracted polio. Sorry, I do not believe that illness is the FAULT of anyone person or any one thing. We do have to seek truth and love of God. He is the Truth and the Way in this life. Do not look to man for comfort. There are few who can show empathy today, but Jesus is always there for us. He NEVER fails, NEVER faulters. Thankyou Lord. I love Jesus above all others. I am a sinner as I did not always follow God's laws. For this I have suffered. That I know. I pray for God's forgiveness everyday. Humans are weak. It takes a lifetime to learn some lessons. Still growing in Christ. Amen
I agree about everything and the sound uncomplicated gospel that bro justin preaches. However wasn't Jesus healing and delivering people infected and affected everywhere? Infection this was his ministry. So why can't we claim healing today too in Jesus Name. ???
The gentleman towards the end with that disease really broke me down like a baby. To see a man like that who’s clearly suffering, and even appeared to have one foot in the grave draw up the strength to stand and praise the lord for everything was so beautiful! Over the past several years I’ve been suffering tremendously physically and also a bit mentally, so seeing this was a great reminder that I am blessed and there are other who are worse off than me. Even when things seem like they’ve gotten worse after you’ve done all you can to fight to move forward, don’t forget to pause and give thanks to God for allowing you to make it this far. He said when he gets to heaven, he wants to meat David first, well I think I’d like to meet him first and tell him how much hearing him in this moment has blessed me
God is amazing, I hope you're feeling better. But, remember that while some people have it worse than you or I ever could, your problems still matter and it's important to be as healthy as any of us is able. Take care. ❤👍
If it helps any, I too, am suffering with a great deal of pain. But there are others out there who are far worse off than myself. God is to be praised regardless of our pain and suffering, I have learned that being a Christian over the years. If we remain faithful to God, our reward will be great!

I cannot thank Justin Peters enough for preaching or teaching from the scripture, instead of what "tickles people's ears". This one, in particular, being wheelchair bound myself with so many ailments I have to have them written down on a card to say them all, this particular talk freed me of some old very bad preaching! Thank you. One of my favorite Christian songs is "I can only imagine" and I don't think of meeting loved ones, or walking again, or any of that. I imagine what's in that song, except for one thing: I'm pretty sure I'll be prostrate in front of God and doubt I'll be able to stop myself from praising and thanking Him for His release of me from sin!

He likes to claim that if you desire to have God speak to you audibly then read the Bible out loud. “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” John 10:27 NKJV This wicked man has stated that the miraculous gifts of the Spirit have ceased with the apostles. “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14 NKJV This wicked man has stated that he does not believe that Matthias was an apostle and that the other apostles “jumped the gun” as he so claims. “And they prayed and said, “You, O Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which of these two You have chosen to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.” And they cast their lots, and the lot fell on Matthias. And he was numbered with the eleven apostles.” Acts 1:24-26 NKJV This wicked man has stated that just because someone teaches something that is false does not make that person a false teacher. Really, what does it make them then? “Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.” Romans 16:17-18 NKJV “These people are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of the flesh, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error. They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity-for “people are slaves to whatever has mastered them.” 2 Peter 2:17-19 NIV Next, I want you to understand that there are over 2000 different bible versions that all have different translations, words and different meanings and a lot of these bible versions are leading many souls astray. If you watch Justin Peter’s visit to Charis Bible College video you will see him reference the NASB1995 version of Exodus 4:11-12 to justify his cerebral palsy since he is insinuating that God is the one who is making people have sickness and disabilities. “The LORD said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes him mute or deaf, or seeing or blind? Is it not I, the LORD?” Exodus 4:11 NASB1995 So if you read this version of the Bible, yes it does state that God makes human beings blind, deaf or mute. But know I want to give you another Bible version and show you how it reads: “So the LORD said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD? Exodus 4:11 NKJV When you read this version it is not stating that God made them mute, deaf or blind but that God made the individual, whether they were someone who was deaf, mute or blind. God is not saying that He inflicted the disability on them. God loves you and He wants you to be healthy for He is the God who heals you. So why would a loving God who loves you and heals you want to make you sick? Now allow me to give you a couple of other scriptures that misguided souls often like to use just as Justin Peters just did in his Visit to Charis Bible College video. (1 Timothy 5:23 and Galatians 4:13.) Realize that most of these people are probably reading from a bible version that has translated the word infirmity into meaning a sickness. Look here: “No longer drink water exclusively, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments.” 1 Timothy 5:23 NASB1995 “No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach’s sake and your frequent infirmities.” I Timothy 5:23 NKJV “But you know that it was because of a bodily illness that I preached the gospel to you the first time;” Galatians 4:13 NASB1995 “You know that because of physical infirmity I preached the gospel to you at the first.” Galatians 4:13 NKJV An infirmity means a physical weakness or ailment or a lack of strength but yet certain bible versions have translated this to mean a sickness. This is why the only truthful way for you to gain your knowledge of scripture is to learn it directly from Jesus Himself through testing the Spirits as commanded in 1 John 4. Sin and sickness is strictly of the devil and sickness reveals they we are disobeying God and living in sin. God made it very clear that He would remove sickness and disease from anyone who did not sin and who would obey what He commanded in scripture. This is why the devil can no longer put his afflictions on anyone who is truly born of God because they are now someone who can no longer sin since they are now being guided by God’s Holy Spirit. “And said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.” Exodus 15:26 NKJV “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.” Exodus 23:25-26 NKJV “And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.” Deuteronomy 7:15 NKJV “We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.” I John 5:18 NKJV “HE WHO SINS IS OF THE DEVIL, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. WHOEVER HAS BEEN BORN OF GOD DOES NOT SIN, for His seed remains in him; AND HE CANNOT SIN, because he has been born of God.” I John 3:8-9 NKJV So scripture clearly relates that anyone who sins belongs to the devil and whoever is born of God does not sin and cannot sin. There are no scriptures that ever relate that a sinner belongs to God or that a sinner is a child of God! There are no scriptures that ever relate that a believer will always sin or that a believer can never stop sinning! There are no scriptures that ever relate that sickness would be a normal part of this life or that a Christian will possess sickness in their life! You can look all that you like but you certainly will not find any such scripture to back up those lies. God commanded us to live a Holy and righteous life and this can only be achieved by being someone who overcomes their sins. Psalm 107:17. “Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.” Know what this means? First transgression, it means an act that goes against a rule, a law or a code of conduct. Next iniquity, it means a wicked act or thing, sin. Finally, affliction, it means something that causes persistent pain or suffering. Translated it is saying that you are a fool if you do not follow God’s laws and commands and you go and sin because you will then have pain, suffering and sickness. Believers who are suffering with a sickness, a disease or a disability are not comprehending what scripture is relating and this is why have allowed sin and the devil to destroy their lives. They do not understand that Jesus provided us with a way to overcome sin and sickness in this lifetime and that was by allowing His Holy Spirit to sanctify our hearts in God’s word and truth. So Justin Peters is nothing more then a minister for the devil who is leading people astray with his false and misguided interpretations of scripture and he is simply spreading lies in order to justify why his sinful soul still possesses cerebral palsy.

Diagnosed with a rare and normally fatal cancer, I prayed, not for healing because that is God's will. Instead I asked for strength and courage. I am now 4 years cancer free and during that time have never even had one second of fear.
That section that showed Garland glorifying the Lord even throughout his great affliction was so powerful!! Garland was made whole through Christ in his spirit. The flesh is passing away...only the spirit matters. Praise God & thank you for showing the truth.
...if these Sick folks are Truly Glorying in their Diseases...why are they going to the Physician & Surgeon to get them out of their Suffering ?? Could I give you a few of them...to show what the Problems are with what you just told me ? 1) Psalm 103:3 Here assurance is given that ALL sins have Forgiveness; followed with the Assurance that ALL disease has a cure. One would have to close their eyes and ignore that verse...if you later tell people that there is a sins that God won't Forgive...or Sickness that He will refuse to Heal. Scripture needs to be Harmonized , dear one...not ignoring one verse to come up with an explanation of Paul's Thorn in conflict here. There are other ways 1 Corinthians 12 have been interpreted ... and it doesn't Specifically say what Paul's Thorn was...but a Sickness that God refuses to heal is not a correct one.

Yes indeed, the Lord is able to perform miracles and such a thing will only happen if it pleases Him in His good, sovereign and wise providence to do so and the passage you're referring to is Isaiah 55:8, where the Lord declares that His thoughts are not our thoughts, neither are our ways His ways. Also, when I think of the so-called "miracles" you hear of from those famous televangelists, one passage that often comes to me is Matthew 24:24, where we are warned by Jesus Himself that false Christs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders in such a way that if it were possible, they would deceive the very elect.
I recently gave my life to the lord and I have been attending a Pentecostal church and alot of Word Faith healing conventions and ill tell you that these preachers are good at what they do and at taking scripture out of context. I started having some questions about some things, healing and prosperity, so I started praying to Jesus to help me with my beliefs and understanding on his word and I started seeing videos from Justin pop up and I started watching. Check his teachings on baptism,to make sure you are baptized and the right baptism which is done solely in the name of the lord Jesus or Jesus Christ because there are more than one Jesus in the bible.

A year ago, i developed one of the worst coughs I've ever had in my life. Coughed till i threw up then lost my voice completely. My parents had been trying to get me to stop cursing for years. After that cough, I realised I had to think a lot longer than i usually would before i spoke, as i lost my voice for 2 weeks. I stopped cursing after that. And I am so glad for that sickness. Everytime i fall sick i ask God what HE wants to teach me.

My experience from having an auto immune disease (lupus like illness) and fibromyalgia and suffering severe chronic pain in the church: I grew up in the church my whole entire life and love the Lord. I have many times been wounded by people or pastors in the church. I remember one time being prayed for and hearing one of the elders saying out loud “Just receive it”. And I’m thinking I am trying to receive it. I want to be healed. I believe that God heals. It was so damaging to my heart because I am doing everything I can to be healed. I prayed for years for healing. It’s not like I’m standing there and NOT receiving it. Lol. But they just blame me for not being healed is the impression you get. Also I was a member of a very small church and once the preacher said that people aren’t healed because their taking their communion unworthily. It’s was like a piercing dagger to my heart. I took communion and was sincere and prayerful about it. Basically thru the years so many people believe and say crazy and unkind and lack of compassionate things to me. Someone once left a newspaper and a note in the church foyer with my name on it telling me if I just exercise I would feel better. So judgemental and hurtful. If I exercise it actually causes my flare ups to be worse and my pain to increase worse. People in my condition often can’t exercise. I’m grateful that I was a seasoned Christian and was able to take these hits like bombs but what if I was a baby Christian or new to church and people would say this garbage if they we’re chronically sick? Some wouldn’t come back. I’ve also been told to just say you are healed over and over and that I’m already healed. That I just have symptoms I’m dealing with. I tried that crap it does not work. Always discouraging and disappointing. At times I didn’t want people to pray for me because I felt so pressured to be healed and then felt worse after being prayed for because then I was carrying false guilt for not being healed. Some people would say maybe you have unforgiveness in your heart and that’s why you are sick. That’s so hurtful! Because I’ve asked God forgiveness and I try to make sure I forgive others all the time. I have also been told I might have a demon !!! I’ve loved Jesus since I was 5 years old. So many horrible mistakes people in church make by judging others who are sick or disabled. I went years living thru discouragement, depression and feeling like God didn’t care. I finally came to the place in my relationship with God that I accepted He will choose to heal me when He wants to. I can’t heal myself. I’ve tried so many kind of herbs, vitamins, natural remedies that so many people tries to sell me or tell me to cure me. I came to the conclusion that no matter if I get healed on this earth or when it’s when I go to heaven that I will be whole...I choose to serve and honor God no matter what and that God gives me the strength to live with this illness moment to moment... His grace is sufficient for me. And to me that’s just as much of a miracle as an instant healing. I now run a ministry that encourages others who suffer chronic pain and illness. God bless. ♥️

I thank God for people like you, Justin. I left my church because I noticed this similar kind of teachings. It was subtle at first but it continued to get worse. It bothered me so much, that I finally left for good. I don’t have a real Church anywhere near me so now I just listen to sermons like yours and a few others and pray that some day God will lead me to the right church someday.

Thank you for a balanced biblical view, i have CMT, a neuropathy and a few other things, and I have constantly told people that i's the consequence of living in a fallen world, it's not the fault of us who have a disease, and the people who put guilt on us usually have other things in their life, that make them imperfect, and no one says it's their fault.

Remember this always, God is sovereign over all things. Because you remain in your physical condition does not mean God is uncaring about you. Rather it is quite the opposite, I cannot tell you what God has for you, and your life. What I do know is you do not have to be any more than who and what you are to have Faith in Jesus, believe in him. This one fact is true for each and avery one of us, This is not our best life. I'm sorry to hear about you losing your friend because of your witness for the Lord and when I read what you had to say in your comment, one passage that came to me was 2 Timothy 4:3-4, where we are warned by the apostle Paul that the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts they will raise up for themselves teachers, having itching ears and they will turn their ears away from the Truth and will turn to fables. Also, in the first two verses of 2 Peter 2, the apostle Peter declares that as there were false prophets who rose up among the people, so will there be false teachers among you who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them and bringing swift destruction on themselves and many will follow their pernicious ways, because of whom the Way of Truth will be blasphemed. Plus, when you mentioned that you were disabled, I was reminded of the beginning of 2 Corinthians 12, where the apostle Paul tells of how the Lord allows Satan to bring about a thorn in his flesh and three times, he prays that the Lord will heal him, but He replies, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." And finally, I'm partially blind myself and the thing that has been a huge encouragement to me is that passage from John 9, where Jesus sees a man who is blind from birth and His disciples ask Him whether this man's blindness is the result of his sin or that of his parents, but Jesus replies to them by saying that it is neither. It is so that the power of God might be displayed in him and what I'm able to get out of this passage is that I may never know exactly why the Lord allowed me to be born blind, but all I can do is trust that He had a good purpose for it.

This, the ones I've seen, have made me feel better. For SO LONG, I've felt "left out" because of my lack of faith in the last church I belonged to. I couldn't lie about speaking in tongues, I listened to them blaspheme the Word of God. My mother committed suicide. That took a lot out of me to be honest. When I went back to church I was "consoled" with "I'm sorry your mother's in hell" and my ability NOT to hit her at that time, I admit was from my faith that Jesus said "Love ye one another". I'm ashamed to say but I haven't been in a church for service in years. I'm trying, reading the Word & my family is Saved. How can these ppl do other ppl like they do. ALSO said I was riddled with demons. I MAY be oppressed in ways...life bothers me sometimes but I am in NO WAY DEMON POSSESSED b/c there is the Holy Spirit. All I have to look forward to is being with God forever and ever. Thank you for clearing SO MUCH up for me. I'm having "good" tears.

It's always good to pray for a healing and stand on it God has never failed me when It's come to a healing God has healed me only when I have prayed for a healing
So, my take away from your words would be that every time you have ever had a cold, or headache or sore muscle or toothache, etc., you have only been “ healed” if and when you’ve prayed about it. If you have chosen not to pray, then the healing has not come, even though most of us do happen to outlive a cold or headache? God does keep His promises but there is not one scripture that we can claim as His sovereign promise to heal from any earthly sickness or disease. The only thing we can “stand” on is His promise of salvation and eternal life, which scripture is full of.
When Jesus asked, “Would you be healed…?” made me understand that so many illnesses are convenient. The illness might be keeping me from doing something I didn’t want to do in the first place. Just a thought

A friend of mine who had stage 4 colon cancer told ne that no matter how much he suffered down here, he would have all of eternity to spend without it. That is someone who understands the gospel.

I keep remembering what a friend of mine told me when she had terminal Cancer: I'm in a win win situation! When I asked her how that could be, her answer was "simple, if I am cured, I won. If I'm not and I die, I still win because I go to heaven and meet Jesus!" That shook me up and made more sense to me than anything. So, that has become my 'theme song" of sorts. The spirit put forth by this man is one of true humility. He has taught me a lot. I became a believer before Justin was born. The church has been so misled.
My Dad was healed of Rheuatoid Arthritis according to James 5:14. He confessed his sin, they lay hands on him, he left that tiny church healed.
He entered, unable to even sit down. But he got in the car and drove our family home.
His eyes were healed from the damage done by his work as an electrician. That was not even known until weeks later. WHY WAS HE HEALED?
He spent the rest of his life, (59 years,) preaching the GOSPEL, singing God's praise, and giving the glory to our Lord Jesus Christ.
As you keep on teaching, I pray the CHURCH will start to listen to you and get busy winning the lost to Christ.

I prayed. I had friends pray, I asked strangers to pray for my healing from nerve damage from a benign tumor. 18 years and nothing. Then one day, He healed me. And the chronic pain had kept me close to Him. He didn't heal me til I knew the purpose of the affliction. It was a hard lesson to learn, but so valuable.

I had an accident once and developed Sensory Ataxia. At one point, I began to desire healing. I began to read scripture and to wait on God until I received faith - an assurance from God that when I prayed I would be healed. One night I prayed. The next day the disequilibrium was gone. I no longer had the "positive Rhomberg sign," I could touch my nose with my eyes closed, I could walk in tandem. I could ride a bicycle. When I looked at my hospital records I found I had had the condition for ten years.
I have had chronic pain since I was 20, it's extremely painful and has caused all manner of misery in my life, but if not for it and the terrible things that came from it, I never would have been saved. I also a few months ago found out I was pregnant, and 3 months later lost the baby, which broke my heart, but in the process found out I had pre-cancer, which would have become cervical cancer and killed me had I not gotten pregnant and gotten the testing. God does everything for a reason, including letting us suffer.
Let me add to my last testimony of healing by saying that when I was an adult I developed late-onset Bipolar Disorder and still suffer from it. The illness is neurological and genetic in origin. The characteristic signs of having had numerous episodes are evident on my MRIs. All this to say that it is a real thing not merely emotional problems arising from thought and experience. For some reason, people allow that disorders can exist in every system of the body except the brain but the brain like every other part of our physical nature is affected by the Fall. I have heard people say we simply lack faith or courage or, worse, that our experiences are signs of demonic activity. What they do not allow themselves to imagine is having feelings that arise on their own because of a dysfunction in brain circuits but functional MRIs show this process as it is happening. In my life, I have had to learn that the reality of Christ is beyond feelings and is apprehended only by faith. The negative feelings are not indicators of reality. As for the euphoria, the hymn "On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand" says "I dare not trust the SWEETEST frame (of mind) but wholly lean on Jesus' name."
I imagine that these prosperity preachers are having their best life now.

When I was a young teenager I watched "The Robe" with Richard Burton. When RB found the Robe of Christ a woman who was born not being able to walk. RB said to her "why weren't you healed." As she was laying on her matt ,she said "He did heal me" I was bitter and mean, hated everyone. Now I am a totally different person healed of heart. Not healing physically for decades brought me closer to God. I accomplished more trying to ignore pain. I studied more to help heal myself. I learned I could walk with Jesus easier than with friends and family. Gradually I got better. There are many reasons for sickness in this world today. At 10 years old I contracted polio. Sorry, I do not believe that illness is the FAULT of anyone person or any one thing. We do have to seek truth and love of God. He is the Truth and the Way in this life. Do not look to man for comfort. There are few who can show empathy today, but Jesus is always there for us. He NEVER fails, NEVER faulters. Thankyou Lord. I love Jesus above all others. I am a sinner as I did not always follow God's laws. For this I have suffered. That I know. I pray for God's forgiveness everyday. Humans are weak. It takes a lifetime to learn some lessons. The gentleman towards the end with that disease really broke me down like a baby. To see a man like that who’s clearly suffering, and even appeared to have one foot in the grave draw up the strength to stand and praise the lord for everything was so beautiful!
Over the past several years I’ve been suffering tremendously physically and also a bit mentally, so seeing this was a great reminder that I am blessed and there are other who are worse off than me. Even when things seem like they’ve gotten worse after you’ve done all you can to fight to move forward, don’t forget to pause and give thanks to God for allowing you to make it this far.

If it helps any, I too, am suffering with a great deal of pain. But there are others out there who are far worse off than myself. God is to be praised regardless of our pain and suffering, I have learned that being a Christian over the years. If we remain faithful to God, our reward will be great!

I cannot thank Justin Peters enough for preaching or teaching from the scripture, instead of what "tickles people's ears". This one, in particular, being wheelchair bound myself with so many ailments I have to have them written down on a card to say them all, this particular talk freed me of some old very bad preaching! Thank you. One of my favorite Christian songs is "I can only imagine" and I don't think of meeting loved ones, or walking again, or any of that. I imagine what's in that song, except for one thing: I'm pretty sure I'll be prostrate in front of God and doubt I'll be able to stop myself from praising and thanking Him for His release of me from sin!

Next, I want you to understand that there are over 2000 different bible versions that all have different translations, words and different meanings and a lot of these bible versions are leading many souls astray. If you watch Justin Peter’s visit to Charis Bible College video you will see him reference the NASB1995 version of Exodus 4:11-12 to justify his cerebral palsy since he is insinuating that God is the one who is making people have sickness and disabilities.
“The LORD said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes him mute or deaf, or seeing or blind? Is it not I, the LORD?”

So if you read this version of the Bible, yes it does state that God makes human beings blind, deaf or mute. But know I want to give you another Bible version and show you how it reads:
“So the LORD said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD?
Exodus 4:11 NKJV
When you read this version it is not stating that God made them mute, deaf or blind but that God made the individual, whether they were someone who was deaf, mute or blind. God is not saying that He inflicted the disability on them. God loves you and He wants you to be healthy for He is the God who heals you. So why would a loving God who loves you and heals you want to make you sick?
Now allow me to give you a couple of other scriptures that misguided souls often like to use just as Justin Peters just did in his Visit to Charis Bible College video. (1 Timothy 5:23 and Galatians 4:13.) Realize that most of these people are probably reading from a bible version that has translated the word infirmity into meaning a sickness. Look here:

An infirmity means a physical weakness or ailment or a lack of strength but yet certain bible versions have translated this to mean a sickness. This is why the only truthful way for you to gain your knowledge of scripture is to learn it directly from Jesus Himself through testing the Spirits as commanded in 1 John 4. Sin and sickness is strictly of the devil and sickness reveals they we are disobeying God and living in sin. God made it very clear that He would remove sickness and disease from anyone who did not sin and who would obey what He commanded in scripture. This is why the devil can no longer put his afflictions on anyone who is truly born of God because they are now someone who can no longer sin since they are now being guided by God’s Holy Spirit.
“And said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”

“So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.”

“And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.”

“We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.”

“HE WHO SINS IS OF THE DEVIL, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. WHOEVER HAS BEEN BORN OF GOD DOES NOT SIN, for His seed remains in him; AND HE CANNOT SIN, because he has been born of God.”
I John 3:8-9 NKJV
So scripture clearly relates that anyone who sins belongs to the devil and whoever is born of God does not sin and cannot sin. There are no scriptures that ever relate that a sinner belongs to God or that a sinner is a child of God! There are no scriptures that ever relate that a believer will always sin or that a believer can never stop sinning! There are no scriptures that ever relate that sickness would be a normal part of this life or that a Christian will possess sickness in their life! You can look all that you like but you certainly will not find any such scripture to back up those lies. God commanded us to live a Holy and righteous life and this can only be achieved by being someone who overcomes their sins.
Psalm 107:17. “Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.”
Know what this means? First transgression, it means an act that goes against a rule, a law or a code of conduct. Next iniquity, it means a wicked act or thing, sin. Finally, affliction, it means something that causes persistent pain or suffering. Translated it is saying that you are a fool if you do not follow God’s laws and commands and you go and sin because you will then have pain, suffering and sickness.
Believers who are suffering with a sickness, a disease or a disability are not comprehending what scripture is relating and this is why have allowed sin and the devil to destroy their lives. They do not understand that Jesus provided us with a way to overcome sin and sickness in this lifetime and that was by allowing His Holy Spirit to sanctify our hearts in God’s word and truth.
So Justin Peters is nothing more then a minister for the devil who is leading people astray with his false and misguided interpretations of scripture and he is simply spreading lies in order to justify why his sinful soul still possesses cerebral palsy.

Diagnosed with a rare and normally fatal cancer, I prayed, not for healing because that is God's will. Instead I asked for strength and courage. I am now 4 years cancer free and during that time have never even had one second of fear.

Here assurance is given that ALL sins have Forgiveness; followed with the Assurance that ALL disease has a cure.
One would have to close their eyes and ignore that verse...if you later tell people that there is a sins that God won't Forgive...or Sickness that He will refuse to Heal.
Scripture needs to be Harmonized , dear one...not ignoring one verse to come up with an explanation of Paul's Thorn in conflict here.
There are other ways 1 Corinthians 12 have been interpreted ... and it doesn't Specifically say what Paul's Thorn was...but a Sickness that God refuses to heal is not a correct one.

Here the problem with interpreting this as a disease...is that a Messenger in the Bible [ Greek ' Angel ' ] ... is always a Person . So this has to be understood , that Paul was talking about a Personal Being here... not a Thing such as Cancer ; we don't refer to the Sickness in a body as a Him or Her , such as , " How is the Cancer progressing in your body ?".... and we answer , " He is getting much worse ! Yes indeed, the Lord is able to perform miracles and such a thing will only happen if it pleases Him in His good, sovereign and wise providence to do so and the passage you're referring to is Isaiah 55:8, where the Lord declares that His thoughts are not our thoughts, neither are our ways His ways.
Also, when I think of the so-called "miracles" you hear of from those famous televangelists, one passage that often comes to me is Matthew 24:24, where we are warned by Jesus Himself that false Christs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders in such a way that if it were possible, they would deceive the very elect.

I recently gave my life to the lord and I have been attending a Pentecostal church and alot of Word Faith healing conventions and ill tell you that these preachers are good at what they do and at taking scripture out of context. I started having some questions about some things, healing and prosperity, so I started praying to Jesus to help me with my beliefs and understanding on his word and I started seeing videos from Justin pop up and I started watching. A year ago, i developed one of the worst coughs I've ever had in my life. Coughed till i threw up then lost my voice completely. My parents had been trying to get me to stop cursing for years. After that cough, I realised I had to think a lot longer than i usually would before i spoke, as i lost my voice for 2 weeks. I stopped cursing after that. And I am so glad for that sickness. Everytime i fall sick i ask God what HE wants to teach me.

My experience from having an auto immune disease (lupus like illness) and fibromyalgia and suffering severe chronic pain in the church: I grew up in the church my whole entire life and love the Lord. I have many times been wounded by people or pastors in the church. I remember one time being prayed for and hearing one of the elders saying out loud “Just receive it”. And I’m thinking I am trying to receive it. I want to be healed. I believe that God heals. It was so damaging to my heart because I am doing everything I can to be healed. I prayed for years for healing. It’s not like I’m standing there and NOT receiving it. Lol. But they just blame me for not being healed is the impression you get. Also I was a member of a very small church and once the preacher said that people aren’t healed because their taking their communion unworthily. It’s was like a piercing dagger to my heart. I took communion and was sincere and prayerful about it. Basically thru the years so many people believe and say crazy and unkind and lack of compassionate things to me. Someone once left a newspaper and a note in the church foyer with my name on it telling me if I just exercise I would feel better. So judgemental and hurtful. If I exercise it actually causes my flare ups to be worse and my pain to increase worse. People in my condition often can’t exercise. I’m grateful that I was a seasoned Christian and was able to take these hits like bombs but what if I was a baby Christian or new to church and people would say this garbage if they we’re chronically sick? Some wouldn’t come back. I’ve also been told to just say you are healed over and over and that I’m already healed. That I just have symptoms I’m dealing with. I tried that crap it does not work. Always discouraging and disappointing. At times I didn’t want people to pray for me because I felt so pressured to be healed and then felt worse after being prayed for because then I was carrying false guilt for not being healed. Some people would say maybe you have unforgiveness in your heart and that’s why you are sick. That’s so hurtful! Because I’ve asked God forgiveness and I try to make sure I forgive others all the time. I have also been told I might have a demon !!! I’ve loved Jesus since I was 5 years old. So many horrible mistakes people in church make by judging others who are sick or disabled. I went years living thru discouragement, depression and feeling like God didn’t care. I finally came to the place in my relationship with God that I accepted He will choose to heal me when He wants to. I can’t heal myself. I’ve tried so many kind of herbs, vitamins, natural remedies that so many people tries to sell me or tell me to cure me. I came to the conclusion that no matter if I get healed on this earth or when it’s when I go to heaven that I will be whole...I choose to serve and honor God no matter what and that God gives me the strength to live with this illness moment to moment... His grace is sufficient for me. And to me that’s just as much of a miracle as an instant healing. I now run a ministry that encourages others who suffer chronic
pain and illness. God bless. ♥️

I ran from the Lord far 30 years! Though he followed me everywhere!!!❤️ I lost my four children, went to prison, was a part of a street gang. I was addicted to drugs & alcohol far 30 years!!! I was even kidnapped, raped, beaten and thrown out of a car(going 60 mph.), left for dead. Still, I continued using drugs & alcohol, along with sin! God was calling me to come out of it, through it all, but I just kept on blaming God for everything. So horrible.
Now, I finally came to a crossroad in my life. Praise God! I turned every single thing in my life, over to God! My body, mind, spirit, heart, soul, life, husband, children, mother, all family, friends, things, home, clothes, every single thing. I confessed and repented everything to God.❤️🙏 It is an awesome experience! God was and is so ready, to take it all away from me. It's a relief!!! My husband is addicted to porn, and I just let him listen to the sick man, singing, then, you explaining the Gospel. He received your explanation, though, he remained quiet, and I quickly stopped it. I thank God for people like you, Justin. I left my church because I noticed this similar kind of teachings. It was subtle at first but it continued to get worse. It bothered me so much, that I finally left for good. I don’t have a real Church anywhere near me so now I just listen to sermons like yours and a few others and pray that some day God will lead me to the right church someday.

Thank you for a balanced biblical view, i have CMT, a neuropathy and a few other things, and I have constantly told people that i's the consequence of living in a fallen world, it's not the fault of us who have a disease, and the people who put guilt on us usually have other things in their life, that make them imperfect, and no one says it's their fault.
Sickness and opression are from the devil(Acts 10:38) Gods will are that His children are healed.Isaih 53:3,1 peter 2:24,Psalm 103:3 and Matthew 8:16-17 (fulfilling Isaih 53)The scriptures are very clear,jesus already took our SIN and SICKNESS on Him.Healing is always Gods will.Just because you get some greedy preachers does not mean healing is not Gods will.
This is why it is very important for us to develop our own intimate relationship with God.
I was in the Charismatic church in the 80s and staring having confusion depression I thank God that The Lord and I know by His hand got me out of Doctrines of devils I will ever be so grateful for the Lord saving me

I've lost a friend because I asked her to view this pastors teaching on Jesse Duplantis trip to heaven. I pray she may not be offended and maybe she will think about it! God bless this preacher. I'm disabled and this same friend keeps wanting me to be healed, but I am not there yet! I am not at all sure of these faith healers! I always felt God didn't care about me enough to heal me. Thanks for posting this!
Remember this always, God is sovereign over all things. Because you remain in your physical condition does not mean God is uncaring about you.
Rather it is quite the opposite, I cannot tell you what God has for you, and your life. What I do know is you do not have to be any more than who and what you are to have Faith in Jesus, believe in him. This one fact is true for each and avery one of us, This is not our best life. That which awaits us ,That will be our best life. Keep the faith in Jesus, God ordains all that we experience in life.
I'm sorry to hear about you losing your friend because of your witness for the Lord and when I read what you had to say in your comment, one passage that came to me was 2 Timothy 4:3-4, where we are warned by the apostle Paul that the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts they will raise up for themselves teachers, having itching ears and they will turn their ears away from the Truth and will turn to fables.
Also, in the first two verses of 2 Peter 2, the apostle Peter declares that as there were false prophets who rose up among the people, so will there be false teachers among you who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them and bringing swift destruction on themselves and many will follow their pernicious ways, because of whom the Way of Truth will be blasphemed.
Plus, when you mentioned that you were disabled, I was reminded of the beginning of 2 Corinthians 12, where the apostle Paul tells of how the Lord allows Satan to bring about a thorn in his flesh and three times, he prays that the Lord will heal him, but He replies, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
And finally, I'm partially blind myself and the thing that has been a huge encouragement to me is that passage from John 9, where Jesus sees a man who is blind from birth and His disciples ask Him whether this man's blindness is the result of his sin or that of his parents, but Jesus replies to them by saying that it is neither. It is so that the power of God might be displayed in him and what I'm able to get out of this passage is that I may never know exactly why the Lord allowed me to be born blind, but all I can do is trust that He had a good purpose for it.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and yes indeed, the Lord is on His throne reigning over all things and He does whatever He pleases.
Also, He had a good purpose for allowing COVID 19 to happen and He will bring it to an end when He sees that it is the right time.

I remember a fellow believers saying to me I should walk in victory. And she gloated by saying I feel bold to speak the truth and she laughed. I did not reply because I knew that was all flesh. Thank you for the message. Genuine repentance is what the Lord requires of us .

This, the ones I've seen, have made me feel better. For SO LONG, I've felt "left out" because of my lack of faith in the last church I belonged to. I couldn't lie about speaking in tongues, I listened to them blaspheme the Word of God. My mother committed suicide. That took a lot out of me to be honest. When I went back to church I was "consoled" with "I'm sorry your mother's in hell" and my ability NOT to hit her at that time, I admit was from my faith that Jesus said "Love ye one another". I'm ashamed to say but I haven't been in a church for service in years. I'm trying, reading the Word & my family is Saved. How can these ppl do other ppl like they do. ALSO said I was riddled with demons. I MAY be oppressed in ways...life bothers me sometimes but I am in NO WAY DEMON POSSESSED b/c there is the Holy Spirit. All I have to look forward to is being with God forever and ever. Thank you for clearing SO MUCH up for me. I'm having "good" tears.

It's always good to pray for a healing and stand on it God has never failed me when It's come to a healing God has healed me only when I have prayed for a healing
So, my take away from your words would be that every time you have ever had a cold, or headache or sore muscle or toothache, etc., you have only been “ healed” if and when you’ve prayed about it. If you have chosen not to pray, then the healing has not come, even though most of us do happen to outlive a cold or headache? God does keep His promises but there is not one scripture that we can claim as His sovereign promise to heal from any earthly sickness or disease. The only thing we can “stand” on is His promise of salvation and eternal life, which scripture is full of.
When Jesus asked, “Would you be healed…?” made me understand that so many illnesses are convenient. The illness might be keeping me from doing something I didn’t want to do in the first place. Just a thought
